Thanks Tasman however be careful what you offer. Brazil is (one of) the largest coffee bean producers and exporters in the world. Well you would think that coffee here comes cheap. Not really, coffee prices here have doubled or even tripled in price. Crazy world isn´t it??

Sorry but I am not selling my girlfriend   I will drink her

Selling girlfriends after the need is/was prevalent in every society right from the begining of different civilizations. I think people who go for dating just do to satisfy their lust and after all satisfaction they will find new mates. A sort of selling

With all respect to you but sometimes you speak in riddles or puzzling manner. If I understand correctly you are talking about "boyfriends" who leave or do not take a relationship further or get more seriously involved and commit to "girlfriends" but turn their backs on them when the fun is over. If that is what you mean, if so, well then welcome to modern society and be certain that the opposite happens in the same proportion.

Yes indeed that is difficult to grasp. We live in the 21st century where we have access on and about everything what is going on or not going on on the planet but belief (doctrination) remains untouchable. As a matter of fact the fanatics are growing in numbers and are becoming even more extreme. The situation you sketch in my opinion is a not a matter of culture, belief or a traditional and widely accepted way of behaving anymore and should be put an end to.

You must be joking. We never get rid of this s*it. Here in Brazil people act like it never existed. Everything is back to well they like to call it normal.

Standard of living is going down people leaving jobs I asked people why they say people dont want regular jobs they want to start something on their own, startups are the buzz word its misleading because only 10% of startups are successful

Yes Arvind9 everyone would like to be his/her own boss. But that is not how the system works. The system is based on starting a family with children, buy a house which has to be paid of in the next thirty years, support your family , put your children to school put food on the table. This to make sure that you are enslaved to the system for the rest of your miserable life. If your boss tells you to jump you only ask how high. That is how the system works. Otherwise it all falls apart.

Correct , it is gone and I love that , today is 1st May and temp here is still around 20-22C [ in normal years it is 10-12C at this time ] ..... It will be nice to add another 5C and have avg all around year around 25C in Tasmania

For me daytime temperatures of 25o celsius and at night 16C that would be paradise. But we are getting closer to hell all around the world. Soon 35o celsius will be a cold front.

Darkstar yes so true.Bees are from the utmost importance. When a bee collects nectar and pollen from the flower of a plant, some pollen from the stamens the male reproductive organ of the flower sticks to the hairs of the body. When the bee visits the next flower, some of this pollen is rubbed off onto the stigma, or tip of the pistil the female reproductive organ of the flower.
Maybe Tasman can step in and start smelling flowers and plants because with his long nose and facial hair he can fulfill the same procedure. Like this he can save the world from starvation and femine.

I do like sci fi but I really wasn't expecting a hole in the ground in which people pass back and forth thru time. That is what it appears to be. Not that it isn't a good idea but I think I was like many others, expecting a good series like Bonanza or Dallas (soap opera) or Yellowstone.

The problem I tend to have with story lines like what appears with OuterRange is they become boring and drag on with no real plot or ending.

Hoping it won't be like that because I do like Josh Brolin and the western/range vibe.

As a matter of fact I do agree, it is not what I expected and since the writers of Outer Range are the same ones who wrote LOST. Do you remember that one? I gave up on that one after episode 60 and it totaled 120. I fear the worst.

Here in Brazil it is suppose to be Autumn with daily temperatures of around 27o but in April we experienced a much hotter month than usual of around 33o (well we all know by now that usual does not exist anymore   ).
However in India there is since March one heatwave after another. It is suppose to be Spring which is the best time of the year. Temperatures are rising rapidly in the country, and rising much earlier than usual. Heatwaves are common in India, (also here in Brazil) especially in May and June, summer (hellish) began early this year with high temperatures from March itself average maximum temperatures in the month were the highest in 122 years. In certain parts of the country it can reach up to 50o (122F). Seemingly Pakistan goes through the same ordeal.
Embrace yourself and try to keep cool.

So, you're fat, you're overweight, you eat too much, you are on fat producing meds, you don't eat healthy, you are full of fat genetics, whatever the reason may be, I just can't see making a mockery of your fat.

I'm sure there are people that will disagree with me but it looks so disrespectful to ones very soul and looks downright nasty.

There are fat women that look real nice. They keep themselves clean and dress nice. Plus their personality shines through. They have self respect.

I do not watch programs like that I find them degenerating but I read an interesting article a while ago about causes of obesity in the US and a conclusion was that living closer to a supermarket is associated with greater improvements in fruit and vegetable intake and weight status in an obesity intervention.
Fast food restaurants are disproportionately concentrated in low income areas,
Estimates suggest that those living in the poorer areas of a city experience 2.5 times more exposure to fast
food restaurants than the wealthiest inhabitants of the city. Because individuals who live in these food deserts tend to
get their meals from fast food restaurants or convenience stores, they (can) often suffer more from a variety of health
issues. The research I read about has found that individuals who live in low income neighborhoods are much more likely to develop problems with obesity than those who live in more affluent neighbourhoods
It is all about money and profit so it it is difficult to lure supermarket chains into poor areas. Because poorer people have less money to spend on food, supermarket chains do not consider them to be attractive customers.

After the recent wave of certain post topic removals I lost interest in visiting and posting on the forum. The accepted level of topics about p.e if an onion is a bulb or a corm (it is a bulb by the way :D ), or how to make flower arrangements, does not fascinate me that much.
Maybe moderators are now AI (not yet) . Screening posts for keywords and removing posts which violate any old (feudal) rules. That would explain the rather disrespectful removal or closure of posts without any explanation or clarification and moderator unknown.

Interesting because in parts of the scripture, (Revelations?) there is discussion about the "fall of the Church". OK not all priests are cons and pedophiles, but a lot are, we can agree on that - it's more of the cardinals and higherups, especially the ones who have TV spots, they are scam artists, they prey on false hope and desperation to raise money, it is a big issue here in North America, in fact some of the ministries and organisations you would least expect to be involved in scams were exposed and reported - and the whole "miracle scam", search for Peter Popoff :D So it's kinda ironic when you hear about a pastor wanting to chase demonic influences, he should start on his side of the grass - how many CRIMES have the Vatican covered up, looked the other way, not all of the victims of these pedophiles and/or sex offenders have all spoken - and if it's not sex offenders it's scandals, priests stealing from the money pool, you know the money you put in the plate at the church thinking it goes for a good cause, well think again :D Again, not all pastors are bad - but many are - since sexual urges is a natural thing humans were gifted to by the creator himself, they should start freely distributing shag dolls (the expensive kind), anything to keep them from committing crimes, and better auditing and vetting them, to prevent theft and scams. but like I said, some people in the powers that be, turn the other way, they are just as guilty as the criminals that most are

P.S. I was wondering what happened to you, been a while thought you fell in a volcano or in Mel's hole

Thanks Darkstar and Tasman that you noticed my absence however here in Brazil January is holiday season. Full blast summer. At the end of February (this year) it is carnaval. Brazil is known for being on a stand still until after carnaval. Call it what ever you like but the first months of the year it is even more leasure than the rest of the year. This is how empires are build.

How sick can it get? What is it, 1933 Nazi Germany all over again?
A (controversial) Tennessee pastor led a book burning on Wednesday night to fight “demonic influences”, with a crowd incinerating copies of books including Harry Potter and Twilight. LOL
The burning, which was livestreamed on Facebook, followed last month’s decision by a Tennessee school district to ban the Holocaust-based graphic novel Maus.
Bring all books. Stop allowing demonic influences into your home, pastor and pro-Trump conspiracy theorist Greg Locke wrote in a Facebook post that has since been removed.
We will be in our continued series on Deliverance from Demons. We have stuff coming in from all over that we will be burning it. We’re not playing games. Witchcraft and accursed things must go, said Locke
Locke’s event in the Nashville suburb of Mt. Juliet drew large crowds as participants threw in copies of the Harry Potter and Twilight series, among other books.
The 1st amendment seemingly knows no limits.
