The Notification Center is not giving me any sound alerts for notifications. I've checked all the settings, tried restarting, disabling and re-enabling everything, but still can't get it to work.
Is anyone else having the same issue? I just hope the problem is not on my end.

I searched on the Apple discussion board and many others are having this problem too, but there is no solution.

The guy retired at 49 ODI Tons......still some sick people will say he played for records......

Yes, people will continue to pull him down. He could have easily played the ODIs against Pakistan and England and go for the 50 centuries milestone but chose not to in the best interests of the team. I wonder why they never talk about his behaviour and how he carried himself all along his career. Never sledged, never uttered a foul word.
I am really feeling sad right now :(
I will no longer see my childhood hero and role model in blue.

Tendulkar retires from ODIs - India news : Tendulkar retires from ODIs | Cricket News | Global | ESPN Cricinfo

Sachin Tendulkar has retired from ODI cricket. Tendulkar finishes an illustrious career in the 50-over format, having played 463 ODIs, scored 18,426 runs and made 49 centuries, each of them a world record.

"I have decided to retire from the One Day format of the game," he said in a statement. "I feel blessed to have fulfilled the dream of being part of a World Cup wining Indian team. The preparatory process to defend the World Cup in 2015 should begin early and in right earnest. I would like to wish the team all the very best for the future. I am eternally grateful to all my well wishers for their unconditional support and love over the years."

These inhuman people deserve a lot worse. These people need to be given such a punishment that in future anyone will shiver before committing such a horrendous act.

Sachin should retire? » Post #3

Very rightly said PTCkingdom.
When we lost 8-0 in England and Australia, everyone was calling for Dravid and Laxman to retire and give youngsters a chance. Now that they have hung their boots, everyone is missing them saying our middle order is brittle.

I wonder what is going through Sachin's mind. I'd hate to see him retire out of sheer pressure created by the media. Hopefully he goes out with his head held high and on his own terms. He deserves a farewell match where the whole nation will watch when his walks out for the final time, people in the stadium will stand and clap and the opposition will give him a guard of honour. I just hope .....

Google Maps is finally here for iOS 6 » Post #5

Its compatible with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation) and iPod touch (5th generation). Requires iOS 5.1 or later and is optimized for iPhone 5.

Right now its not available for iPad but its coming soon.
I read that you can use it on the iPad in compatibility mode, means you can download the app, but it will look stretched out on the iPad and it won't fill up the entire screen.

Do you remember ptcs ? The same trick worked for me in the past video offers

Yes, I do remember it. After all I was the one who suggested it ;)

When I checked Matomy I didn't have any videos. So I opened a private tab and rebooted my modem. Straight away I had 8 videos and thankfully all of them credited :xrazz:

Matomy Videos should now help people to complete the Checklist regularly.

Instead of clearing your cache, I would suggest "private browsing" or "incognito" on Chrome. And if you have a dynamic IP and reboot your modem to get a fresh IP.
I've checked on Firefox and Opera and videos are crediting without any issues.

Its the Reputation System.

What is the Reputation System?
The reputation system is very similar to the Karma system seen on other popular websites and forums. Its purpose is to hopefully give users an idea of how respected, knowledgeable, helpful, gracious, etc., a person is. It is a system in which you rate other members although that is completely optional and no one forced to rate others.

IMPORTANT :
Forum Rule #12 : Abusing the Reputation system like asking for Rep points or giving to others without reason is not allowed.

Which Indian Debit card supports 2 add fund PayPal » Post #16

Just adding a little more info,

Although I haven't tried the HDFC VCC with PayPal, I believe it should work. No harm in giving it a try since you have nothing to loose.
The VCC is valid for 48 hours or one transaction, whichever is earlier. And the remaining/unused balance will be returned back to your account in 3 working days.
So say you generate a VCC for ₹1000 and use ₹700. In that case ₹300 will be credited back your account in 3 days.

I have an account with HDFC Bank and have used their VCC. HDFC VCC works on ALL international sites and I have personally tested it on a few stores online.
You can purchase in any currency using it and you will be charged according to the prevailing Visa rates which can be found here - Exchange Rates - Visa Corporate

And just for those interested, here is the link for MasterCard exchange rates - https://www.mastercard.com/global/currencyconversion/index.html

Remember : All banks charge the exact rate shown on Visa and MasterCard (links above). So if you are charged more by your bank, you can always dispute and enquire about the extra charges.

Note : The exchange rate will be charged as per the rates the day the transaction is realised. Meaning, say you may make a transaction on December 5th. But if the merchant receives your payment on December 6th, you will be charged according to the Visa/MasterCard exchange rates for December 6th.

Banks do charge cross-currency charges though and other service charges like educations cess.
For example, HDFC Bank charges cross-currency mark-up of 3.5% on foreign currency transactions.
