I do understand your concerns but we need to keep in mind that not everyone can read and write in Hindi. And its not possible to have separate forums for every regional language in our country. So I see no problems in having separate threads for Tamil, Marathi and other Indian languages as long as the discussion is friendly and within the forum rules.

Unity in diversity. Thats India for you ;)
