Yes I comprehend the onus is on the individual to 'read between the lines' and also to 'research'

That is why I question them here at the forum, to get advice, help and guidance which is priceless.

Surely we should be encouraged to do this, plus other members also learn from the answers given.

I wish I knew if I have been blocked or not, I cannot access my Crowdflower account for some reason, I used my correct details which it rejected on Wednesday, I asked for a password request but haven't received it.

I hope I got the correct email for them

It's frustrating not being able to do the tasks. I had hoped if I have been blocked they would tell me rather than block me, which seems unfriendly.

Ok, thank you I will do that. I know Clixsense won't be able to help me out with the problem I have, because it concerns Crowdflower, trouble is Crowdflower don't respond to my email, they just ignore me

Clixsense Advertising Coop » Post #1

Sun Sep 15, 2013 16:02 in General Talk

I have just seen this ad on Clixsense and I am wondering if this too is another scam?

They seem to be popping up quite frequently, first two sites offering referrals and now this....

You pay $5 for 7 days for your link to be inserted in their advertising coop

Now you can pay one price, just $5.00 and enter the most amazing referral ad cooperative ever created! Easily said - we get your referral link traffic - you get referrals!

Hmmm Scam or Scam?

Have you noticed people that these sites are starting to pop up, I did a similar post to one site advertising here on Clixsense and then giant referrals pops up, another scam!

Trouble is these people will scam, quickly close up and open a new site, my guess is both sites are operated by the same people.

I have also seen a new ad on Clixsense advertising $5 to put your Clixsense url in their rotator!!!!!

Is it possible to be able to PM a member in the Forum without having to announce it on the forum as a post?

I want to contact a moderator on here but I don't want it broadcasted to everyone?

Private PM is that possible?

Very much appreciated.

This is ideal for both newbies and veterans alike.

I know so many people ask about how to get referrals, reading this will give people an excellent guide and what steps to take to increase their sign ups!

I am so glad that Clixsense has taken action against this site.

I have reported it and Clixsense were speedy in their reply..

Sadly these people who run these sites will close them then wait....

In a few months time they will start up a new site, luring vulnerable people in again.

Sadly the law against these kind of people is lax and they can basically get away with it, time and time again!

Do You Use Traffic Exchanges? » Post #3

Wed Sep 11, 2013 04:59 in General Talk

Indeed, some surfers actually surf 12 traffic exchanges at a time? I was shocked, but yes, sadly it is possible, and some traffic exchange timers are 3 seconds or even less? How can you possibly get results from showing your ad for 3 seconds? The time it takes to jump over to another traffic exchange to click and then the next and next....!

And you also don't know the methods, some, not all of the owners of TE's take, how do we know what goes on? I often wonder whether dubious means, about losing referrals goes on, who gets the referral you work hard clicking for? Because it could be so easy for that referral to go AWOL without you even knowing, it may be a conspiracy theory or paranoia on my part, but you are right I'd probably find more money walking the streets than what I do on the Traffic Exchanges.

Here at Clixsense I make on average a $1 a day, but I don't do surveys, I can't stand them, it frustrates the hell out of me when you waste time filling them in only to be told you are not eligible and you get ZILCH, ZERO, NOTHING for your time.

At the end of the day, TIME is more precious than MONEY.

Thank you for your valuable input, good to hear I am not the only one who gets frustrated.

There are also too many scams online too, so I am very cautious about investing, I have had my fingers burnt too many times in the past, so I gave up!

Purchasing Clixsense Referrals » Post #7

Thank you, yes I did report this ad to Clixsense who replied straight away, but sadly, I still see the ad promoting direct referrals for Clixsense here on Clixsense

I wonder too if Traffic Exchanges adopt the same methods

Quote:use your money to advertise for their own campaign and steal your referrals

Trouble is we don't know what goes on at their end. I have been using Traffic Exchanges for a while and don't get any results from them.

Thank you for your valuable advice!

Do You Use Traffic Exchanges? » Post #1

I am interested to hear if anyone uses Traffic Exchanges here, not just to promote your Clixsense url but to promote other programs or to make money from them?

I am wonder if I am alone in this field in that the results I get from Traffic Exchanges are extremely poor.

Not for the want of choice, nearly every week there's a new Traffic Exchange popping up in the cyberworld market, and there are hundreds and hundreds to choose from, so does this dilute the effectiveness of them, by having so much choice?

I used to be an avid Traffic Exchange user, but I used them to earn a few dollars here and there, but now I find them frustrating to the point of madness, I don't get any referrals from them, through promoting any of my other affiliate links and now I use just a few to simply 'pass the time away'

No longer I see them as an avenue of making any money. I go months without getting a single referral, yet they are still popular, so someone must be benefitting and earning from them (apart from of course the owners!)

Take this I join a brand new TE, which promises random referrals, it cost $7.95 for a month so I try it out, I surf for the month WITHOUT getting a single random referral and I don't get a single referral from promoting my other programs?

Now that makes me wonder, what is going on, after all you don't know what's going on? So who is getting those 'random referrals' and who is really benefiting from me 'promoting my links'?

So have you had much success with Traffic Exchanges (NO LINKS PLEASE) I am interested in what you think of them, I don't want to join any more or waste any more money on them!

Where do you advertise John if you don't mind me asking?

I have tried Traffic Exchanges, Mailers, Text Ad Exchanges the lot, and like you find it near impossible. I just wish I was more active when I first joined but like many many others out there I joined and found earning a few cents not worth my while so I forgot about it! It's only recently that I got back into it.

Some people just have the golden touch when it comes to getting referrals it seems.

Patience, Persistence and Perseverance is what it takes and as they say you've gotta be in it to win it.

The most I have won on the grid is 50c which is a bonus.

I do believe however that's it strongly biased on the time of day you play the grid, however because we have different time zones, it will be different for someone like me living in the UK and one of my referrals who is from India.

I've tried doing patterns on the grid but that makes no difference, so it has to be the time factor involved when winning.

If it was purely random I'd win a lot more times than I have rather than on average a cash prize one a week! When clicking 60 times a day :0(

I guess I need to find other UK clixgrid players and find out what the best time to play the grid is ;0)

Thank you, that's just what I wanted to hear.

I am surprised Clixsense lets them advertise here? But at the end of the day it's money I guess.

You are right, if it is too good to be true.... Which this is...

But the site looks attractive and you wonder how many people are going to fall for it?

I want to query an ad I have just seen on Clixsense advertising Clixsense Referrals

50 direct referrals package for 9.99$
100 direct referrals package for 19.98$

[link removed]

Forgive me if I am wrong, but isn't it against Clixsense's t&c's to purchase referrals in this way?

Also how legit are these programs?

We'll advertise your affiliate link around the web and you'll get real direct referrals who will manually click the ads.
Referral activity rate is around 86% based on buyers feedback. The referrals will be active and will remain yours forever.
If you buy 50 referrals and you receive only 47 active out of 50, we will continue to advertise your link until all of them are active.
After you buy a package you will be redirected to a page, follow the instructions.
You will receive your referrals in maximum 10 days.

50 Referrals in 10 days sounds very very far-fetched to me. I have been promoting my clixsense url actively and have only got 2 referrals in 4 months?

Are these programs where you can get referrals to Clixsense, Neobux and other sites, truly legit

And do Clixsense allow this?

It's not just you, unfortunately you just have to be patient, continue what you are doing, you will win something eventually, even if it's an extra 5 picks.

I have gone a whole week without winning a single prize, but I continue doing it, I have won in the past, although the maximum I've won is 25 cents, but that's still a bonus.

As they say you've got to be in it to win it!

I wish you success in winning, don't give up!
