A recent news in a daily said that in France when 81 young people were diagonsed for post covid problems 46 of them showed severe impotency. If this news is credible then there will only very few humans on earth by the end of this century and that will be the end of kaliyug as depicted in Indian epics :?

Just to make matters worse:
Monoclonal antibodies: 'great hope' in Covid treatments fails against variants
Exclusive: no leading contender is effective against all the South African, Brazilian and Kent variants.

The great hope for drug treatments against Covid-19 – the monoclonal antibodies – are failing against variants of the virus, such as those that have emerged in South Africa and Brazil, scientists have found.

Life on earth has ended five times in the past the last one happened 65 million years ago,we are in the sixth extinction era,its a scientific intepration of what the kalyug means, kalyug ends in 400,000 years when life will become extinct again its a normal process that a planetary system undergoes the reason for a extinction differs no one knows what will happen this time, last time earth was struck by an astroid (Chublux) in Mexico bringing an end to life on earth, what you read has to be only people belonging to a certain type of gene found in a particular race of people it wont happen to everyone,or else its very simple just get a divorce on the grounds of impotence which the law permits and find another partner

That's not such a bad thing  How many births nowadays were planned ? How many people having kids today are competent to raise them ? Not many........So yeah if one of the side effects of this virus is reducing fertility, then that's good bloody news  The really BAD news are people who have post COVID19 health complications, that's bad of course, but usually those are mainly the ones who had a severe form of COVID19 where they ended up in the ICU and hooked to machines. Statistically for the most part, most people won't get long term effects. The study you are referring to is incomplete - is this impotency permanent or temporary, I would guess that this would be temporary, maybe the tests are too premature :P they should wait a couple of months and run tests again, but like I said, it's not a bad thing - this is NOT ending the human race, hardly, it's not like the virus is causing infertility, and if it can help reduce unwanted births , then good - as long as it is not harming people physically and causing lingering or permanent damage to organs.

it's not a virus with a mere 3% mortality rate that will cause the end of humanity - whoever made this damn virus meant for it to scare, to spread and to paralyse the world. Any virus with a high mortality would mean that the virus itself would eventually weaken as it has fewer hosts to infect, so a pandemic would last much less than one where the virus spreads with a low mortality, even worse with this g........ COVID19, is that most cases are asymptomatic, and the numbers we see today are only those who get symptoms and test - but there is perhaps 30%-40% more in the population who are infected but don't know about it, and THEY are the ones spreading this virus.

The great hope for drug treatments against Covid-19 – the monoclonal antibodies – are failing against variants of the virus, such as those that have emerged in South Africa and Brazil, scientists have found.

They are failing *FOR NOW* nothing is conclusive, maybe they are less EFFECTIVE, but it is better than nothing. The vaccines so far have tested to be effective against the variants, the only thing is that their effectiveness is REDUCED...... Any vaccine with a minimum of 50% would meet requirements for being approved, so if you take vaccines that are allegedly more than 90% effective and you add the variant into the equation, you will see that even with a reduced rate of effectiveness, they are still far above the threshold and still would make a difference...... even 50% is better than 0%.

Also, with mRNA, vaccine makers can adapt future versions to the new variants in a matter of weeks. These new variants are small mutations to the protein spike, they don't render the vaccines ineffective, these mutations only mean that the spikes are now more likely to attach to your cells than ever before, they do a better a job of it, so they are more infectious, and you have more odds of being infected with a small viral load than before, and even with a reduced vaccine efficiency, you would still have enough protection to bring down hospitaisation and deaths in the long term.

As far as the monoclonal studies, that's preliminary - what matters right now are the different vaccines being deployed which will still offer enough protect well above the minimum threshold, albeit a reduced one, but still an important one........

The problem here is not the variants, it's the bloody ignorant fools that ignore guidelines - if every person wore a damn mask, follow distancing and sanitary guidelines, the virus spread would be minimal, so the best cure for this pandemic is discipline, this discipline works with ANY variants present and future - if people are relying on a miracle drug or vaccines to end this pandemic, they are truly F.... mistaken ! The vaccines are only a band-aid solution, all it will do is bring (hopefully) down the cases of hospitalisation - BUT it won't stop the virus from spreading, it will only reduce numbers, but there will always be some level of community transmission - herd immunity is something that is very unrealistic at this stage. Nobody should be too worried about variants, this is what viruses do, it's nothing new.....

God will not give everything to be completely satisfied. As comforts increased new ailments have arisen which science alone cannot solve./ So we are forced to believe in supernatural power though no one has seen what we call God. There will be a time when human race will be completely vanished may be by natural calamities, diseases , or meteors that no one can predict. And I believe that time has reached.
