New Zealand is now official Fascist State , they can delay election now for day or forever ..........rest of the world will follow soon

Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern on Monday delayed New Zealand's looming election by four weeks to October 17 after a renewed coronavirus outbreak hampered campaigning.

I call all in N.Z. to start revolution

Jacinda Ardern is now only Fascist dictator in the world

????????? 102 days without a single case, and just a few new cases and they want to delay elections ? Sometimes you wonder, should all elections be delayed during a pandemic, because people would vote generally against the current government. Would it be wiser to wait until pandemic is over, and for people to judge how the government handled the pandemic, and then vote ?

I think this would be a reasonable measure but providing they ask the population through referendum if they are ready to vote  did any of that make sense ?

Their definition of an outbreak: 4 new cases. Meanwhile some countries have 50,000 cases a day or more.

more than 100 days without a new case is indeed very good, but the question is, do you lock down an entire country, and postpone an election for only a few new cases ? If other countries did that, the whole planet would be on permanent lock down. You can still control the spread without lock-down and only keep lockdowns for extreme measures.
If people keep distances, apply sanitary measures, wear the bloody masks, it will stop the virus from spreading so easily.
There are provinces in Canada who are NOT in lock down and have little to no cases, BUT they have some measures in place - people have to get used to a new lifestyle, temporarily, until this pandemic ends, in 200-300 years

Lesson to be learned out of all this - the most harsh measures (the ones people protest against), strongest discipline, and biggest sacrifices yield the best results in the end. Maybe it's time to rethink our so-called "constitution" and "freedoms" during pandemics - because they are a DANGER to public health and the prolong the pandemic. When public safety is in play, I think all notion of so-called freedoms should be temporarily put on hold. Countries that take that route will be the first to come out of it.

Good job indeed to NZ and to Cihna, well there's no democracy there anyway, but still :D

China is responsible for this pandemic, not intentionally, though illegal market and consumption of wild life, which has enabled the virus to transmit from animal to humans. The fact this was not intentional means nothing. Their negligence is direct consequence of this pandemic and in my opinion they need to pay.

That aside, China still excels in many areas - first, you don't see Chinese protest against wearing masks or sanitary measures. In fact, it is not uncommon for people to wear masks in Asian countries, it is not frowned upon, nor is it considered bad. They have more discipline and harsh measures to quickly contain spread, which is clearly not the case in Western world, where people protest against masks, deny the virus, and spew all kinds of garbage.

Unfortunately, wet markets are still alive, not only in China but other countries, and it will continue to be. Asking China and other countries to STOP wild life markets is like asking drug cartels and pimps to cease their operations - it's like asking apes to stop consuming bananas :P It's like asking Trump to exit the race and concede victory to Joe Biden

I'm angry at the China regime for the wet markets, but I am aware that China did a far better job than our country in handling the pandemic. This whole coronavirus deal has done my nut in, I want to move on from this bloody pandemic, it's been trailing for too long, I'm sure everyone wants to resume their lives and not spending the next 5-10 years worrying about it. But due to the selfish lot not giving consideration for others,I guess we will be busy for a while longer with this.

Thank goodness there are no wet markets in Canada :D

Very true it depends how good politicians are in creating fake opinion and fooling people that is their measure of success,in our country people still don't know what is happening with China everything is just speculation, but behind everyone's mind everyone has a question why are we still so underdeveloped and not competitive enough that is why China is a problem for us

Indian's say India is an natural ally of the US,slightly off the mark India is Donald Trump's ally,we dont find ourselves fitting with China because if we except them as friends we will never replace them,so we rather imagine of ourselves that we can never replace the US as well as China its a very confusing situation,it suits Donald Trump because he can keep us under check

First, it's hard to imagine right now, ANY country being friends with China, the responsible for this genocide.
As far as Trump, well the show is over soon, his days are numbered. He destroyed and ruined everything he worked for and fought for in the last 4 years because of his way of leading the pandemic. He had every chance to win a re-election, had he acted like a true leader during a crisis, and keep the political tirades until AFTER re-election :D Unfortunately for Americans, and maybe the rest of the world, Trump will get defeated by a landslide - and who knows if the whole world will go into a massive depression due to the civil unrest and constitution collapse in America, it might change democracy forever. As far as India and China well right now the whole should learn to gradually part with China, they must accept responsibility and pay for their negligence. Like Russia, I do not think China would share any vaccine with the world, besides I'll pass on any vaccine, I don't want to mutate into a bat or pengola

The Chinese people are raised well by a strict government, Here in Denmark nearly all Asians are wearing masks while nearly none white people are wearing any.

China have what i call the "modern" version of communism with a lot of economic growth which is a stark contrast to the olden version which only caused stagnation and poverty.

Socialism can be good and bad, Just as capitalism ;)

He should have hired a spin-doctor and someone to write his speeches when the subject was the pandemic, Even though i know it's not his style at all.

Just wishing the virus away is not quite enough, He also had a responsibility to his voters (especially those in the southern states) to be a role model on how to follow the guide-lines during a pandemic (Too many deniers who do not care).

Right, exactly, I don't know why people here in North America are so anti-mask, people are literally killing one another in stores and fighting over bloody masks. Oh and BTW, there is a massive party in Wuhan today, the feast starts in a few, guess what's the main course ?

I would trade my constitutional rights and freedom for a few weeks to 1 month if it means it would end the pandemic.
Here in this side of the pond, people want their cake and eat it, selfish, self centered, conspiracy theory spreading, anti-maskers, anti-this anti-that. This pandemic would have ended in 1 month had governments adopted the hard measures in the first month. What happened when some Canadian provinces made MANDATORY wearing of masks in a public place......cases dropped, week after week.

They should print big posters around here with "Wear your ******* masks !" They should have drones roaming the air detecting people who do not wear masks, sending them vocal warnings, if they do not comply, then they are shot with tranquiliser darts in the arse, and another drones comes by and places the mask. Welcome to the new world, where there are consequences for not obeying the one world order rule. Hmm wait a minute, this would make a good series :D
