The provisions of the curfew are:

• Those 18 and younger should not be in public between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, or on the way or actively engaged in employment.

• Groups of 10 or more people congregating in any place open to the public are prohibited. This does not prevent unassociated persons from being in a public place, such as a grocery store or outdoor park.

The Executive Order will be enforced by all local law enforcement agencies after all reasonable efforts for voluntary compliance have been exhausted.

South Australians who breach self-isolation or quarantine orders during the coronavirus pandemic could soon be forced to wear an electronic tracking device under a plan from the opposition.

Labor will this week introduce urgent legislation that will allow police to issue the device, with those who continue to flout the law facing a $1000 fine.

Was about time - Some people are selfish during these times, thinking of themselves, wanting to ignore warnings and pretend as if this pandemic does not exist, they are a DANGER to society - so now it has to come to the big guns and rules, for the better of everyone. You can't rely on people's good will. This whole gd pandemic could have been prevented with better transparency and actions from world leaders.

Now the governments are asking people to follow guidelines, some don't and rebel.....

If a commercial plane is hijacked or it enters into an unauthorised air space, you will see some F-14's surround the plane and order it back on course, otherwise it would get shot down.

Maybe it's time to apply these measures ! OTHERWISE, this can last for 2 years (reasonable window until a vaccine was fully deployed) and meanwhile millions dead !

Has the lock down been implemented earlier the death rate would not have risen. Again people in the US are unhappy with lock down .some have gathered in a church today for some rituals related to Easter celebration pretending that Satan is preventing them from giving rituals to God and that they should break the lock down. If such conditions prevail then death toll may go up.and no need to blame officials

Just to make sure I am clear, this curfew is in my town/county.

The city is 20 minute drive from where I live. It has a population of about 20,000.
In the rural town where I live, the population is less than 2,000.
This is in the same county jurisdiction. They implemented the curfew here after
several were positive for the virus and three or four had died from the virus.

Also, something else they did here in my area...

Only one person can use a cart in the store and only one person from a family
is allowed to the store. I think this has been implemented many places in the
USA.

A week or so ago, Walmart's now close their doors at 8:30 pm. On Tuesdays,
Walmart is open 6 am for those over 60 years old, only until 7 am. Now they
will bring pharmacy prescriptions to the car if the person does not want to go
inside.

Just did my 2nd walk today because the sun is out and temp about 20 C
So nice to walk in shorts and T-shirt for a change. The buds on trees and shrubs

I even put some items in the cart today on Walmart dot com and when I go
to checkout, it says all those items are sold out. That's bull. None of it was
food. Two house robes, trash bags, and a case of business type paper towels.

Yep, something fishy going on. What they are going to do is stop allowing
people to buy non-essential items. Well what is essential for one person is
not necessarily essential for another person. I want those cheap walmart
house robes!

I'm so mad, I am going to go to Dairy Queen and buy a huge ice cream of some sort.
That'l show them! Won't let me order me house robes, me spend money at the
Dairy Queen. Yeah!

Thats right same here with Amazon put a few things in your cart and at checkout it says no delivery slot available try later,next time I try all the things I wanted are sold currently unavailable

I think the whole pandemic reality has already set in, the panic and madness has reduced a little though more and more people are getting sick so less staff to replenish shelves or even produce items, we are not out of the woods yet, but hopefully most people did their hoarding already Hopefully people stocked enough beans, toilet paper and God knows what else, to be ready for the next pandemic (coronavirus v3, v4, maybe a new virus that turns people into zombies, I dunno) but this whole pandemic hopefully will change people for the better - always be ready, always have a plan B, always expect the unexpected, always have enough toilet paper
