So what is bold did he have any other option, its happening everwhere in the world,he has still not succeeded in stopping people from going out, people are moving freely, private hospitals have refused to test free they say a test will cost Rs 4500 many people cannot pay in hard times its should be free the government has to make sure its free, government should make shure people who are on daily wages should be paid throughout the country, lets hope its not the 5 trillion economy type of slogan

No its too short a time government will not be able to control the spread of the virus for a long time because India is very densely populated many people are not ready to comply, some experts think we could have 1.3 million people infected by end of May,then the military will have to enforce a lock down

The problem is people are not following rules to stay indoors

many people are going out of homes that's why the number increased to 500 cases now

If all states follow this rule the number of cases will be less

lets see after 21 days will it be normal or again lockdown

Even the WHO issued a statement that only lock down social distancing wont stop the virus, tests have to be carried out to know where infected people are,WHO says some Asian countries are not doing enough to stop the virus,we are way behind in testing no one wants to do a service to the country to save lives private hospitals wont do it free,we are still talking about money not saving lives

Initially some Indians came from China they tested positive, some tourist especially from Italy were already infected when they arrived here it was lacking in our system that we did not check them at the airport by the time it was discovered they were quite sick some Italian tourists are also admitted in hospital here in India one of them was cured and he left India but they were out in the open long enough to spread the virus, many Indians returned back from abroad they could also have spread the virus, although many Chinese are returning back to China after the virus has been under control the Chinese authorities would have to carry out thorough checks to make shure another wave of infection does not hit China.

There is probability that PM announce emergency under 360 where he will get Money to pay people everyday who is under BPL and daily wages. As for Kit Mylab Discovery Solutions Pvt Ltd (Pune) get approval by government through ICMR (Indian Council of Medical Research) where COVID19 test kit can detect the infection within 2.5 hours compared to the current kits that take more than seven hours for detection. Therefore, twice the number of reactions can be done by laboratories in one machine. Up to 1 lack test kits can be manufactured in a week. The company claims that samples of about 100 patients can be tested using a single kit. An average lab can test more than 1000 samples in a day. Moreover this kit will cost low.

Oh so the government is only capable of collecting taxes not helping people,we would become the first country in the world to go to the extreme of declaring an emergency, then as TASMAN1 says we will have martial law

This emergency is different from martial law (Financial Emergency The effects of Financial emergency are that President can direct the reduction of salaries and allowances of any class of employees serving them state and postponement of the salary of Public servants among other directions. Here note fundamental rights cannot be suspended during financial emergency. This emergency is never ever apply in India. It is probable that if in 21 days result is not satisfactory lockdown may be apply further for this government need money to pay to daily wages and poor people.

You are seeing our country in a desperate situation how poor we Indians are in the way we think, its the responsibility of the government to help its people even Donald Trump does not have such bright ideas, its amazing we dont even think that the rich should contribute they dont even pay taxes,on the contrary they are asking the government what relief package the government has for them,Narendra Modi is going to have a meeting with CII to chalk out a strategy for them

Yes!!! it's terrible to watch the way things go in Italy, Can't help feeling sorry for them.

But all countries are now more or less on their own, Mysteriously we had 2 deliveries on equipment gone missing on the way from Germany to our country (No one knows what happened???).

Also our health-minister turned down down a handout on masks from South Korea (Idiot).

Just Imagine first humans going to Mars all of them will be trained to live in Isolation for long periods of time without loosing their mental fitness,if we think 3-4 weeks is very difficult to maintain or impossible for some to live in a lock down, social distancing with availability of essentials then only trained humans could go to Mars others would be found incapable;so we already have the answer as to who will go to Mars the rest will die here on earth in desperation

Can you please from us on where you got this information regarding test kits from? What's the source? Is it reliable or just opinionated blog posts?

WHO has clearly said India is capable enough to handle this epidemic. India has tremendous capacity to combat Covid-19: WHO and WHO praises India's 'impressive' commitment to combat coronavirus

If, for once, just once, people can keep their political views and bias aside and actually co-operate, this pandemic could be contained till a safer curve. PM can't stop people, of course, he can't. No one can stop people if they themselves don't want to. The reality is everything is in the hands of people. Isolation is just to make sure that the rate of infection is slow so that the heath staff can handle it. Sudden influx of patients has made the European healthcare struggle which is the best in the world.

Why not take steps yourself instead of being pessimistic all the time? Every individual can take steps. Pay your taxes, if you have house-help pay them salary on time, don't hoard food and other necessities, donate to organizations, NGOs which are provided food and help to the poor. And most important stay at home!

Kit I mention It not from the blog you can check ICMR sites:https://icmr.nic.in/content/covid-19. Click pdf Guidelines for use of commercial kits for nasal/throat swab based diagnosis of COVID-19 in India. There you can see 2 lab has given good result MY LAB and Altona Diagnostics by giving 100% true positive and 100 % true negative
