Taking photographs often violates copyright protection, copyright is more of an issue for modern artwork, especially when the piece is loaned to a museum, museums dont own the copyright of loaned paintings or sculptures since it resides with the owner of the original artist

He, It's a bit the same on the internet.

Surprisingly many people are not aware that copying pictures from the net and saving them to your pc is a copyright infringement.

I think most people are aware that movies, Games, Programs are illegal to obtain without paying for them!!

But the general consensus is that sharing pictures is perfectly okay, Photo-sharing sites are full of them.

You will not get in trouble for "DOWNLOADING", otherwise they would arrest millions of people. Copyright holders will go mostly after UPLOADERS, that's where the money is, or sites that host illegal content, again because that's where the money is, they will usually not go after individual downloaders, unless you download from a torrent, in which case, if it is monitored, your ISP might receive a complaint about your infringement, and your ISP will send you a letter to S&D. NEVER use torrents EVER!

As far as Meuseums, I agree with Proadco, Tasman1 might be in a museum, maybe his teeth, maybe his banana, I dunno, he will be a legacy that's for sure  Though his profile image could potentially be worth millions of $ though.
