which is better- vegetarian foods or non vegetarian foods. man from earlier years itself was much interested in foods and its tastes. many are pure vegetarians while others cannot live without animal products some say that vegetarian foods are more healthy than animal products but I would say both are adequate in required proportion for the proper health of an individual .relying only on plant products is suitable during the old ages when food is required only in small amounts during other ages animal products should be included, animal products should be included in limited proportion any thing more than required is not suited or may be considered poisonous by the body . also combination of certain vegetarian and non vegetarian foods may also turn poisonous which can lead to ailments.

i love veggies and can eat meals without meat products BUT I was raised where the main item on the plate was meat. Didn't matter what kind, pork, beef, deer, rabbit, pheasant, chicken, you name it. Sundays was always a roast or whole chicken and waffles.

As we get older, we are eating less meat, mainly because of the cost, which has risen almost beyond our budget.

Vegan. If you can go through life without harming any other creatures, why not do it?

Well I eat both, but more vegetables and fruit. Meat three times a week, which is grilled chicken strips or 85% lean beef and the portions are small. Some days my craving says meat and other days none at all. I am satisfied with a nice full portion of a vegetable plate with a corn bread muffin on the side. ;)
