I am sad today

I was told yesterday that my last female cousin has died on one of mom's side. Her husband died a year ago from black lung and she had to have her son move in with her because she was not in the greatest health due to diabetes. She was exactly a month younger than me. She used to joke how I was the old lady of the family. :)

I had talked to her a couple weeks ago and she seemed good. I understand from her niece that she was in constant pain but, from what, I have no idea because her niece never answered my email yet.

I'll miss her. I guess what I'm trying to say to everyone else is to honor your relatives and keep in close contact. I couldn't, only by phone because my husband is not the social type to visit relatives like my family.

She makes #3 in 3 weeks; 2 were friends of my husband's. It's hard to get older, especially when your mind tells you you're still 20-something. :(

My condolences for the passsing of your cousin.

You are absolutely right. We should Love and Honor our Relatives and Friends when they are still with Us.
But unfortunately we are all too busy to care for anybody but us. So sad.

My condolences to your cousin.

It is essential to maintain the relation with family members in this long journey. Everyone is running behind money and forgetting our nearest one. The life is busy and fast that hard to adjust the time for our family members, friends. The enjoyable memories of the past are the most important at the old age. If you are alone in the old age then it is hard to spend the whole days and coming years till death.

theres nothing worse than losing someone from your family,,the saddest thing ever :( ,,,,,i lost my youngest brother in 2010 and never forget to pray for him daily,,,,,,,,,,,,i always think of him when he was born and that feeling brings a tear to my eye and heart feels heavy to know that he is here no more, but i believe in God and trust that wherever he is ,is happy.

we make so many decisions in our life, whether they are right or wrong,,,,but our paths are all the same, heading towards one direction,,,,death is one thing which no one has control over and we must accept it. :(

this is our final destination guys sad to say...everyone wants to go to heaven but no one wants to die! ironic really.

I came from a family of 11 8 male and 3 female. Mom,Dad and 2 of my older brothers have
now gone to wherever we go to as this life ends. I am the second oldest at 81 and my

time as long as we can. My Condolences with your losses. No matter what age we reach

I am so sorry for your loss. It is so hard to watch someone struggle as they sometimes do because they aren't ready to pass, or the pain they may be in but nothing can be done for them.

My cousin could only see shadows due to diabetic retinopathy. She was 69. Her one sister had kidney failure and another one had both before they died. They all had Type 1. My cousin was hospitalized last year because she couldn't walk. They "dehydrated" her and she lost 150 pounds due to fluids swelling in her body. She was out of the wheel chair and could walk even without a cane. Then it started all over again.

Again, I'm so sorry for your loss.

My late grandmother always said - the Lord, let me die worthy and not be a burden to my family. She also said, don't grieve about me, I always will be with you and it will be hard for me to see your grief, don't cry about me, always remember all the happy and good moments and smile.
Remember your sister cheerful and healthy, smile and don't cry. Sorry for my english. I hope I was able to convey my thoughts.
