Completing Offers,Tasks and winning ClixGrid » Post #2

The real money for India is doing tasks on Crowdflower. There is one team mate here from Goa that has made thousands of dollars doing tasks and getting huge performance bonuses. If you become a master of tasks, there is real money to be made. I make my money on surveys, living in the US is not so hard to get the lower paid ones. I don't even mess with the invites, just do the dailys and keep hitting it until they accept my demographic. I'm averaging $4 a day since I came back and come Christmas I can buy my wife something nice.

That is not the case. You get 7% by completing the checklist, addon and activity bonuses. She only has $15 but she just got 7% so there is no amount needed to get it.

 Thats awesome! This is my first week back in 3 years and back then, only the US were getting surveys completed. I am happy to see surveys are more readily available for users across the globe. Clixsense has really stood the test of time while so many other PTC sites fell. Congrats to you and it is good to be back for me. I just broke $400, :clixsense:

You can already earn 7%, finish your daily bonus every day and run the addon.

Since you live in the US I would suggest doing some of the surveys. That is where the real money is at.

My thinking... Who would pay $17 to upgrade, and then not be active? That would be a fairly stupid thing to do.

But then Armand2REP, who would complete lots of offers/tasks and not go premium? Why get a 7% bonus (if you had ClixAddon installed), when you could be getting a 16% bonus? Perhaps you should calculate how much you are losing by not being a premium member, rather than dissing those who are already benefiting from being a premium member. I don't mean any offence, and I will back it up with some facts:

I joined ClixSense on 6th Feb 15, I upgraded to premium for 2 years (@ $30) on 7th Feb 15. So far (as today 19th Oct 2015) my earnings are $43.25, meaning I have a profit of $13.25 already with around 15/16 months of premium membership left. My referral commissions are $10.77 meaning without referrals I would have earned $32.48 which is still a profit and still have the 15/16 months to go. Of course, I rarely fail to sign in and complete my daily checklist.

As for your maths, I'm not sure how you calculated... you seem to have a 10% bonus calculated, there is no way of getting a 10% bonus. Also, let's say cadence99 gets the $0.031 bonus (as my example above) every day for the year that would be $11.315 in bonuses alone, add the activity ($0.192 a day) and that's another $70.08 a year, totalling $81.39 in the year. Even this far exceeds the $17 cost of premium.

So, I would encourage anyone to be active and go premium... you can't lose doing both!!

As far as my math, you already get a 6-7% (depending on activity) bonus for standard so the premium gets you 9-10% more. In order to make that $17 back, you need at least $170 in earnings to get that bonus to pay for itself. Yeah, don't count on referrals, they quit over time so it is a continuous labor to keep that stream and not something for the casual user. I just need some Christmas cash, so I would probably just break even when I leave again. Better to not commit when it takes that much to recoup the investment.

You spent $30 and you are telling me you only made $43? I would question if it was even worth it for you as you still have to make $300 to get the premium bonus to pay for itself.

Why is everyone jumping on him to go premium? If he isn't going to be active it would not be worth $17. You need to make $170 in the year to get paid back in the bonus. Even Clixsense has posted the disclaimer to think about that before signing.

It is really hard to find referrals that stay long term to keep your earnings up. I can't imagine how hard you worked and you finally get payouts, but then they quit and it starts all over again. It is a struggle to get that steady income.

Keep at it bro, the best way to get your money's worth out of that premium is to log a couple bucks a day and get all your bonuses.

Does this mean that there are no ads targeting specific countries? People in this forum keep telling that members from the US get more ads. Is that a lie?

$304 for 5 and a half years of clicking minus the cost of the 6 upgrades is not really a great result i think and certainly not something that I would call good profit. If we consider your activity (congrats for that) and the possibility of many demographic ads because you are from the US it seems that the good profit potential for a clicker is not really there.

The US definitely gets more ads. Some days I break 20¢. Going premium will double the amount you currently get. Standard non-Western members get 5¢, going premium will boost that up to 10¢. So figure a net 4-5¢ per day. There are 365 days in a year * .045¢ = $16.425. So your extra PTC will about pay for the annual membership. It doesn't make sense to buy it just to break even so you would have to do more than just PTC. With the 12% DB it will put you into profit and whatever else you do like tasks, offers, Clixgrid will put it through the roof. Then of course there are referral earnings with a downline 8 levels deep.
