I am Stumped and here is why: » Post #1

Wed Jul 24, 2013 22:52 in General Talk

As I surf for those famous credits I notice people claiming they made all kinds of money in such and such amount of time. Thing is that all ptc programs only give pennies on the dollar.

So the magic question is as follows:

Are all those ads just hype or am I missing something?

Reason why I ask is I am doing 4 different ptc's and I don't see the same results as those ads are talking about.

Pop-ups & Pop-Unders » Post #1

A surfing we go right? Not really. In order to surf you need a clear line of sight, right?

Well it seems those of us who surf for credits do not get that clean clear line of site. Instead we are forced to endure countless pop-ups and pop-unders. Frankly, I do not know how they get past my popup blockers but the do.

So lets try this: there are some PTC websites that now check for both popups and pop-unders and will not allow sites to have them.

While I dislike censure ship maybe, just maybe it is time for all PTC websites start checking websites for both types of popups.

What is your take on this??

The Big Turn Off » Post #1

Wed Jun 26, 2013 23:54 in General Talk

For years upon years yours truly has been creating websites after websites. During these years I can tell you the following facts that have caused websites to change.

#1.... for only a few brief months everyone was creating sites using "flash" but problems arouse with how long it took for the pages to fully come up. Thus, this system ceased.

#2.... At one point just about everyone wanted music or videos on their site. But they found out that they were getting less hits. And people were not returning.

Why do I mention the above? From experience your website, if you have one, only has 5 seconds to grab someones attention. IF during that time they have to wait for music, videos etc to come up you will have lost them and maybe forever.

IF you have a website do the following....

A. keep the front page also known as a landing page, simple. Use other pages to tell the story.
B. If people are really interested in your product or what you have to say they will visit other parts of your website.

As of right now when I surf for those credits I turn the sound off on my laptop. Why? Because I want to hear my music or radio station.

I hope that all these 20 plus years of experience on the World Wide Web help.

Social Media & ClickSense and you » Post #1

Mon Mar 11, 2013 03:38 in General Talk

I have been on the internet before there ever was an IE10 and or a Firefox. What I learned during those day perhaps should apply to this day and age so here goes:

Rule of thumb back then is do not share to much information about who you are, where you live and how you go about living from day to day. It was a security issue for not only yourself but also your house and family.

Today you have the social media website not only asking or your information but they have trackers on your pc that sees what other websites you visit/ Its almost as if Scotland yard were on your tail to say the least

Now we have PTC's and thus I wonder is it really safe to let places like Facebook know what PTC sites your visiting?

I for one do not connect every website back to Facebook for security and personal reasons. This includes PTC sites or sites I use to create websites and so forth.

Am I just an alarmist or should more people take such safeguards as well? What is your thoughts?

Having been with ClickSense a short time I wondered if this really was the place for not only me but the ministry I am president and founder.

Clicking ads for a few pennies son not seem like much until you see the amount grow and grow. THe next aspect was to try the "advertise " part and for a first timer its a little scary to say the least. So I kept the amount low so I would not waste any funds. I can now say that the advertise section of ClickSense really works and I have proof in the pudding perse. I use Sitemeter.com on all my websites to keep track of the traffic. For several hourse traffic flowed to the website and it all came from advertising here on ClickSense.

Thanks CLickSense for the traffic to my miinistries website. We will be doing this again in the future!
While the ministry site is already number one in three different search engines you gave it just a little more exposure and thats cool by me. Thanks

Stop & Read » Post #1

Sun Jun 24, 2012 09:27 in General Talk

Today I had a close one that I hope will be a lesson to everyone;

AS I was going through the ads I seen one that looked something up my alley. Thus I clicked it on to check it out.

AS i was going through all the various pages and so forth I came across the final conclusion.

THEY wanted me to pay them $68 to get started. Bad move on their part as I heard about stuff like this on the local news. For certain I did not approve the m to withdraw funding from my Paypal account and escaped out of the entire process.

Hay I know we all be smart enough to see the ads but to not read them is a real shame. You never know what your getting into. You should never have to pay someone or anyone to get or do job.

So do yourself a favor and STOP & READ the entire ad before you do something you' will regret later.

clixgrid game .......sad.... » Post #6

Count the spaces on the game. I believe it is around the six hundred.
Figure the odds of actually getting a prize.
Once you do all that you will come to the same result I did.

what is the odds on winning from ClixGrid ?
When you count the number of cells 20x30 you get an answer of 600 cells. And a person is looking for only one or two that carries a prize?
This is nearly like playing Battleship only on a bigger scale and no US Warships involved.

So what are the odds of winning?

yackie yack advertisements » Post #4

valerie wrote: Not always but usually these days there is a pause/stop/start button on a video.

It is annoying when you cannot stop the video or pause it. I prefer to read and
if I want to also view/hear the video I will. It does make it virtually impossible to
do both at the same time. Listen to yack yack yack when you are truly wanting
to read the site.

The only thing I can suggest when there is no pause/stop/volume button on those
types of ads, is to simply pause your music til the ad has ended.

I like your idea, Maybe there is a fix on ClickSense toolbar as well.

Frankly I do not know about you but I find one thing very disturbing about viewing advertisements and it is as follows:

I be here at home listening to music or watching tv all the time doing whatever on ClickSense. Then you know what transpires? An add pops up where some person is talking and talking and talking and well you get the picture. By the time you find the switch to shut the add up its way to late the ad got on yer first and last nerve. Furthermore you get an ad that come up and the guy rambles on for up t fifteen minutes.

There must be a better way to do a website where there is a time delay on talking advertisements. After all I am listening to Pandora.com on my system and then taking ads show up.

Frankly, I don't know about other ptc'ers but talking ads are not my fondest idea. And they just want to have me NOT visit their website or try his or product.

What if anything can be or should be done about the yackie yack advertisements?

Sky is the Limit? » Post #1

Sun Jun 17, 2012 07:03 in Your Stats

I have taken a little time to read others posts and they were rather interesting. Yet I have a question where the answer just may be "the sky's the limit."

Many are receiving payouts of various sizes. I am pleased for their success.

However My question is as follows;

Is the sky the limit as far as payouts?

or

Has a maximum amount been set in stone, per se? (If there is a limit please state what it may be.) :)
