On the right hand top corner of any forum page, you will see a gear icon (highlighted in yellow in the image below).
Click that, and you'll see a pop-up like this.

Then choose whatever statistics you want to show or hide.

1. You need to stop shouting if you are asking for help.
2. What is this topic about? Regarding some task? If yes, then why are you posting this topic in the General Talk section?

please send ur international cheque » Post #2

Thu Sep 25, 2014 00:13 in General Talk

Please contact your branch where you hold an account. Not all banks accept foreign cheques so they might have to send it to a branch which deals in foreign exchange thus delaying the time it takes to clear the cheque.

Here are what a few banks in India charge for clearing foreign cheques. But be sure to check the respective banks again just to be sure.

HSBC Bank - 0.56% of the value of the cheque or Rs. 337 whichever is higher

ICICI Bank - 0.125% subject to minimum of Rs.250
Additionally : Charges levied by correspondent bank in original.

HDFC Bank - 0.25% of equivalent amount in Indian rupees subject to a minimum of Rs. 250 per transaction

It takes about 21 International "working days" to get the cheque cleared. In some cases, even longer.
