It's an idea, but why go through extra steps? Just cash out directly to an Amazon card or to Amazon.

I just don't want to have to join something else to be able to get my earnings. I have Paypal and bank accounts. That should be enough.

Thanks for the ideas. I will keep them in mind.

Okay. Paypal is gone.

I'm considering if I should stay with ClixSense or not. Not that I'm real active or me leaving would be a great loss, however, I'd like to make a suggestion.

Pay outs via Amazon cards. I would use this. For me, if I can't get paid via Paypal or Amazon, the best ClixSense can hope for from me is that I use my earned money for advertising. There's a good chance I will just let my account expire once I have used what little money I have in here for advertising. I've already removed the ClixSense add-on.

Yes, I'm sure there are arguments, reasoning and reasons for and against Amazon payouts. So?

For what it's worth, ClixSense Research pays out in Amazon cards. Why not ClixSense?

Okay, that's my thoughts and suggestion.
Have a great day,
Frank

Bad ClixSense ad on Neobux » Post #1

Sat Nov 08, 2014 08:37 in General Talk

Public Servics Announcement:

www.clixsense.com/en/ClixGr

I keep getting this link when clicking ads on Neobux. I isn't a valid ClixSense page. Whoever is running this ad on Neobux needs to fix it. They are wasting money.

Disclaimer: I am not advocating Neobux in any way. Simply trying to reach someone to save them some frustration, money and such.

Are the high dollar surveys on CS Research Real? » Post #2

Thu Sep 11, 2014 12:11 in General Talk

This is one reason why I have stopped doing the surveys. I also find that I spend a lot of time trying and failing to qualify for any survey. The time spent isn't worth the very few that I do accidentally qualify for and complete.

I am a business owner » Post #1

Found out that I am a business owner. I declared the income from my PTC, Google and affiliate efforts and received the joy of paying Social Security and some other tax. So, if you are in the USA, do PTC and other income earning stuff, and were wondering, yup, you are a business owner. Doesn't matter how little you make, you should declare it and pay your taxes.

For what it's worth:

AVG showed the file clean.
AVAST showed the file clean.
Malwarebytes showed the file clean until I updated the Malewarebytes database. Then it show a "PUP" infection.

I have used the file to install the ClixSense toolbar and currently use the toolbar. I allowed Malewarebytes to remove the infection (delete the file), so next time I need to install the toolbar I'll have to download a fresh copy.

A Bing search showed a lot of plus and minus links about the toolbar being spyware and/or not being spyware.

I'm not saying it is clean or ok to install. The above is just my results.

If you want to call this advice, here is mine:
When you install the toolbar, watch the options VERY CAREFULLY! NEVER ACCEPT the default settings. ALWAYS use the advanced setup if offered. Only install the toolbar. If there is an option to make Conduit the default search engine, refuse it. Anything that is other than the basic toolbar, refuse it if you can.

Some of the above goes for many/all install programs. Many of them want to install stuff that they are paid to bundle in their setup. Even well known companies.

ALWAYS download from the source (company's) site's server if possible. It is not uncommon for some shady (or not) company or person to re-bundle a setup software with maleware or options to install other programs in it.

Frank

Not Going To Renew Premium Upgrade » Post #27

Sat Mar 01, 2014 05:57 in General Talk

Out of 113 winning clicks (not counting the 5 extra chances), I won about $5.95 on the grid last year. I clicked regularly.

I don't have referrals. I do the premium upgrade every year, but am always disappointed when the cost of the upgrade increases. Even with just the grid and ads, I manage to make the cost of premium back each year, plus a bit of profit. Then again I have no life and spend most of my time clicking ads.

This year I hope to do better since I am trying to do more surveys. That said, I do agree that surveys are a pain for the little they pay and the few that I get to actually complete and get paid for compared to the many that I attempt. I suppose if I had the bleeding edge cell phone, computer, auto(s), boat, took long nad expensive vacation and such as that, I could complete more surveys. Then again, if I had money to do all the aforementioned, why the heck would I be spending time on ClixSense? I be more likely to be considering purchasing ClixSense than clicking ads.

With all that said, ClixSense tells you that this is not a "get rich" place. You will earn a little extra cash. If you are good a recruiting, you might make some decent money, but that is not guaranteed to happen or to last.

In addition, setting up a web page is not a guarantee of making money either. Google and other search engines are making it harder for the average person to compete for rankings. Large companies will always be on top for the best search terms. Making a page to advertise your ClixSense banner is not guaranteed either. To get traffic, you will have to advertise with other PTC sites since Google and other search engines will likely penalize your site and you will not be found for an search terms.

Disclaimer: The above is just my experiences and opinions. Your mileage may vary. Do not fold, spindle or mutilate. All the above is true, unless it isn't, then it's not.

Have a great day!

No ClixGrid Win Since Jan 7, 2014 » Post #8

Wed Feb 26, 2014 08:18 in General Talk

I believe the number of prizes are also based on the value of the prize. In other words, there are more lower value prizes available to be won than high value prizes. That is why the 5 extra chances are the most common prize. They are worth the least. Or, more accurately, the 5 extra chances cost ClixSense nothing, whereas the $10.00 prize is expensive.

No ClixGrid Win Since Jan 7, 2014 » Post #3

Mon Feb 24, 2014 07:59 in General Talk

As I understand it, the grid is also based on how many ads are running on it. Maybe there are fewer advertising on the grid since the sticky ads are here?

Of course, I could be wrong. ;)

As a side note, I won 10 extra chances yesterday. It feels like that is all I win, but I know it isn't.

Hmmm..... Opinions Please » Post #10

If you really need the money, take it. If not, let it ride, put a bit more effort into making money with ClixSense and the upgrade.

If you have not installed the toolbar, do so. You might find that you have missed a lot of ads and reaching the cashout amount will be easier.

If you don't have a PayPal account, get one. Then you don't have to make $10.00 to cash out ... and the processing fee is less.

Do surveys to earn more money. If surveys are not your thing, do tasks. Do all that is required to earn your daily bonus each day. It might not be much, but does add up.

Good luck to you.

Frank

Oh yeah, ask if you can become my referral. I don't have any referrals either and I make between $20 to $50 a month.

What I've learned about EARNING on Clixsense... » Post #4

Sun Feb 02, 2014 08:02 in General Talk

I agree that surveys in the USA is best. But as mentioned, your country makes a difference. There are many other factors as well. I'm glad you are doing well with surveys, but don't bank on that continuing. I have run Livesample out of surveys and not qualified. ;)

The key to surveys seems to be having a life. That is, if you watch a lot of TV, go to movies, buy a lot of electronic and other stuff, eat at restaurants, have kids at home, make a 6 digit income, and many other things like that, you can qualify and complete surveys easily. Of course, if your life is that busy, you probably don't have time to complete surveys ... and/or don't need/want to.

I'm not sure that your idea on the ClixGrid is viable, but what do I know? I have tried different ways and patterns. Sometimes I win great for a while at other times it is far between wins. I don't count the 5 extra chances as wins, sorry.

I agree that tasks are rubbish. I have tried and seldom complete one. I'm always told that I did something wrong.

Whatever works for you is what you should go with. Good luck! :D

Luck ? » Post #6

Sat Feb 01, 2014 11:52 in General Talk

"Luck" comes and goes. The number of advertisers placing ads on the grid make a difference in the "luck" the clickers have, I think. Perhaps there have been fewer advertisers placing ads for the grid lately.

On the 5th day of December, 2013 » Post #1

Tue Dec 10, 2013 18:15 in General Talk

It was a lovely day ... for a while. Then the rain started. The temperature dropped. The rain changed to freezing rain. The cedar trees next to the power line feeding the house started to snap. Trees all over that area started to snap. Sounded like mini explosions at times ... or machine gun fire ... or something strange like that (snap, crackle, pop but no Rice Krispies). The power went out ... all over the area (county). My meter box was pulled away from the house.

Yesterday I bought the parts to replace the meter box. Today I installed the new meter box and all the stuff needed to get the power back on. Power was restored about 6:30 PM, more or less. I hope it stays on. Things are still a mess here. At least we had gas for heating instead of electric so we stayed warm (reasonably) using the range top burners.

Oh yeah, the circuit board for the over took a hit and fried, so I get to replace that as well (later).

And a Partridge in a pear tree! :x|

What a day at clixsense. » Post #6

What amazes me is that many PTC and other Paid To sites (not ClixSense) foster the concept of "Get Rich Quick". Their banners reflect this in suttle ways. Then people join and make ads that all but promise, with proper disclaimers, that you could make thousands a day so others will join under them as referrals (keywords often overlooked by potential members/referrals are "could, can, possibly" and other such vague words).

Just my view.

PTC ads are one every 30/15 seconds to earn $0.01/$0.005. Only sometimes do I visit the $0.001 3 second ads.

Like you, I only complete video offers, generally 30 seconds or more and earning $0.01 or $0.02 each time.

Forum is simply one visit, although I like to be active.

ClixGrid... 20 x 5 seconds, generally to earn nothing, therefore I believe it to be the hardest.

I don't know if I'd call ClixGrid the hardest. To earn, yeah it probably is. But I wouldn't say it's the hardest part of doing the checklist. It's almost as easy as visiting the forum.
Agreed. The clicking is easy. Just 20 clicks required. I click that many paying ads a day on :clixsense:. :)
