IPv4 Address Exhaustion » Post #1

To Whom It May Concern at :clixsense:

Some parts of the world -- especially the developing world -- have already exhausted their IPv4 allocations. This will increases the usage of NATs (Network Address Translation), Proxies, and VPNs. Alas, people in the developing world are punished because of that.

Total time to view a "3 second Ad" » Post #1

Mon Jan 21, 2013 01:43 in General Talk

Hi

I am just wondering, how long it takes to read one "3 second Ad".
If you have got a fast Internet link, it should be close to 3 seconds.
However, being in a developing country, I need 10 - 20 seconds for one Ad.
Sometimes even more than 20 seconds!

How about you?

How much is your Internet Connection? » Post #3

Sat Dec 29, 2012 05:20 in General Talk

Well, that above is the tariff that is offered by the cell-phone companies. At home, I pay about US$ 50.00 for a 3MBps "unlimited fair usage"Internet link + cable TV including HBO.

How much is your Internet Connection? » Post #1

Sat Dec 29, 2012 04:51 in General Talk

Hello,

In a developing country like Indonesia, the Internet costs about US$ 2.5 for a monthly 700-1000 MB plan, and about US$ 5.00 for a 2000-3000 MB plan. How much do you pay (in which country)?

Second, how much traffic does :clixsense: generate? In my case, more than 30MB a day. How about you?

Hai, apa kabar ? » Post #3

Bahkan terdapat situs-situs interaktif seperti friendster, facebook, et. al.
