The story is pretty accurate. However mr. Hissam is everything but a succesful businessman he has been arrested for fraud and drug trafficking (Narcotráfico) in the past .It makes you wonder about the level of his electorate.
Due to the public backlasch he was forced to exonerate his through nepotism positioned family members and the members of his new family in law in their newly positions.The mother of the "happy" bride must be pissed off.

Right, but the 10 year old, definitely not in the US, anything under 12 falls under pedophile law, besides even 14, I mean it's ridiculous that it is even legal for teens that age to get married, yeah like at that age they are better at compromise and relationship than adults - what a joke - if people that age marry it is usually for all the wrong reasons - and it's usually driven by hormones and stupidity or a reason to get out of the house prematurely - so when "kids" marry at that age, I wonder, who pays for the wedding, honeymoon, that $900k new house (the cheapest on the block), etc. no bloody wonder - this explains a lot - well in America, you won't see much kids getting married, they are too busy playing cowboy and shooting, committing crimes, theft and felonies. How the hell is that even possible, they marry whom ? That is paedophilia not marraige - Yeah marrying minors is a thing in some countries, there are stories about that that is enough to boil blood in anger, even stories about how it is encouraged by parents. Not here that's for sure, - though It's not uncommon for very young kids to talk about marriage and say they want to marry this person one day, but at that age they don't even know the meaning - if they were taught the true meaning then I'm sure the lot would rather get bit by a snake instead

Well I dunno. My reproductive organs worked very well. lol. I had three children almost one after the other.

May be in your case but that is not the case with most girls mostly girls enter puberty( menstruation) at 14 bor 15 years and need more time to develop the reproductive system. If y someone become pregnant at that stage will affect their health and the new born baby may not be healthy and may have small life span which is scientifically proven. You are lucky in not being affected

I guess the context in those days were totally different than today - it was not uncommon for people at a young age, but yeah, 15-17 is still young, maybe people in those days understood the meaning of marriage and children, even though it was the era of drugs, alcohol and sex

ahahahahaha nope, the ideal age would be 40-50, and the drinking age should be raised to 30, and driving to 35.

as far as reproductive organs being immature, nope, technically they are 100% mature, I think you are confusing with the character that is not fully mature - people at those young ages don't know the meaning of love and get into relationships based on infatuation and lust, it was no different back then I guess...... technically a girl can start having her period as young as 9 - it's creepy when you think about it, it must be some mistake in human creation - at those ages people should be focusing on their education and youth and think carefully of what they want to do with the rest of their pathetic life, THEN when they are on their feet and stable financially they can discuss about having kids - today is the opposite, people do and then think later.
