I am in West KY. The flooding is in East KY.
The way they talked about it in the news made it seem like the entire state was under water
Besides, it's never too late to take swimming lessons, assuming you already know how to swim
Kentucky has suffered a lot in less than 12 months. Tornados and Flooding. Dare I mention heat and drought. But we had a good downpour last night where I am and the humidity and heat has cooled a little. It won’t be long till Fall.
I’ve been doing some traveling/vacation.
What did you say FALL ? ALREADY ? It's almost as if summer started yesterday, did it go so quickly this year, how come, it seems time goes by quickly - so now you have to worry about the drizzle, extreme cold weather (so much for global warming eh ?
), 4 hours of shovelling every day, etc, it's gonna be a nasty winter
I can't believe the prospects of winter is at our doorstep - it's OK as long as it's not a mild winter, and not too much snow - it would be nice to get a winter like we had a few years ago here, dry all winter, a few inches of snow whole winter, dry ground most of the time, not too cold not too warm just perfect - if it can be all year round this way I would love it even more
