Humans will survive without meat, just add in supplement B12 and you are good to go.
Food shortage should be the least of people's concern, for what's to come next.

Meanwhile, NASA is busy finding a new planet for man kind ....

I'm not worried about food shortages, humans can survive without meat, besides any shortage will be temporary - what I am worried about is the "IMPOSSIBLE" meat alternative, what a big SHAM, because it's NOT healthier than meat, in fact it is more harmful, so yeah watch out for those plant based meat alternatives to fill shelves, it is a big CON.
People will just have to stock up on beans, rice and start growing their own stuff....humans survived and they were much healthier, and maybe this can help curb the morbid obesity plaguing this world, where 2/3 of the world population is overweight. In the UK, obesity is a plague, and bariatric surgery is very lucrative. Meanwhile in China, there is no shortage of bats and pengolas, and they will slaughter and eat just about any animal you can think of, so those who will miss meat due to a shortage, they know where to go....Remember that when COVID version 3 comes out......

Well then, do the necessary, end up on death row, and you'll get a hearty, wholesome last meal  The rest of the lot will have rice & beans, and half a tea :P

Disclaimer: I am not recommending you do this ....... :D

I don't eat meat per se.

I do eat a lot of rice, beans, eggs, fish, veggies, fruits.....candy, cookies, haha!

Altho I do eat brown rice, I prefer white rice.

I love white rice topped with pea pods, peppers, water chestnuts, and all that good stuff,
with shredded cheddar cheese melted atop.

There's really no point in eating meat when there is so a large array of tasty foods.

Just as long a you are getting enough protein from plants, and of course you might need B12 supplements, as that is found in red meat :)

Those so-called "green" burgers are NASTY and so much more harmful to health than eating meat. The food industry is brainwashing the gullible into thinking they are eating healthy. What a SHAM the food industry has become.
If people decide to stop eating meat, they should not just turn to those so-called alternatives, they are often saturated with salt, colouring, nasty chemicals, and artificial crap, you might as well eat meat or just eat grass it will be healthier :D

Yeah it's rather crazy the 'green burger' thingie. Just a marketing ploy to say they are healthy
for you. I wouldn't eat it.

When my spouse was alive, some times he would say, 'lets have a toaster cheese'. I don't know
if anyone else does that but I coined the word 'toaster cheese' due to my laziness. So here is
my own recipe for toaster cheese:

Prep time: Really fast

2 slices of bread
1 slice of cheese (any kind you want)
1 slice of tomato
Mayo

Place bread in popup toaster and toast to very brown.
Spread some mayonnaise on each slide
Cut thin slice of tomato on place on one toast
Place cheese on other toast and inset in microwave just until cheese is melted
Place melted cheese toast on top of tomato toast
Slice in two sections, eat with a side of pickles and/or chips

Here's the problem, the biggest clients for producers were restaurants , without restaurants and/or the reduced capacity, it means they would be over producing and WASTING, so it all comes down to GREED here, instead of turning down the valve and only producing what is necessary, they say nope, if we cannot produce 80 million worth we won't bother, or something like that, OR they significantly cut production, so with limited supply comes higher prices.

Now it seems there is more and more salmonella outbreak in the U.S., now it is red onions, before it was something else, what's going on here ?

Once restaurants are back into full gear, producers will be back in full swing, and food shortage will not be an issue.

If you are craving for meat and it is a life and death scenario you can order a box of Pengola burgers, you can probably get that on Wish, eBay or Amazon - but you have to sign a waiver first.

Well I guess it's the longest finger right, so more meat :D Rumour has it, it is in huge demand
One thing that is going to happen, those "IMPOSSIBLE" meat thingies will soar - Companies that make impossible burgers, impossible turkey, impossible pork, impossible impossible, are going to see their business skyrocket, because people will be flocking to those s-called meat alternatives and eating that instead, thinking they are getting good food, real food and healthy food when it is exactly the opposite - and as a result you will see more illness - these things are brimming with salt, food additives and colouring. It would probably be safer to eat Pengolas  and sorry, there is no such thing as Impossible Pengola, you get the real thing, no shortage of that. The bats, well that's out of the question, they are sold out, They are expecting a new batch shortly !

Oh those plant burgers will make you go to the toilet alright  They'll go out the same way they came in :P
but good news now with Russia vaccine, and the whole world partying, no more worry of food shortage, there will be plenty of TP on shelves now, and the world will live happily ever after :D

So let's see now, impossible burger, impossible turkey, impossible fish, impossible bread, impossible eggs, what's next ? Impossible peanuts ? :P

Next thing they will make flavoured cardboard people can munch on - You liked your burger ? Want more, you can eat the packaging it came in, it's edible, hospitals and surgeons are happy to see people being brainwashed by this utter nonsense.

Oh yeah I forgot, I have 3 choice words for the future, after a lot of intense calculations (mostly quantum physics, and equations you would never imagine) I came up with a conclusion, 3 words to describe the future of mankind.

Ready ? "There is none"

Cheers
