People cannot handle wisdom so they will complain, my general post about a discount, which was helpful and with good intention got complaints, only proving my point that some people are stuck up and have nothing else to do - so no matter if a post is positive or not there will be complaints - it's all about a game of popularity and not actual post itself, I've gotten used to this bullshit over the years - so most likely people are complaining about you as a PERSON and not your post, the same here........So you can write positive posts, but because people have hardwired in their minds that Proadco & Darkstar2 are bad people so let's complain. Don't worry, those are the same people who watch CNN and vote for Democrats. In contrast, for Canada, those are the people who vote Liberals

I've seen this on other forums, even a company I freelanced for for years - some people made disparaging, highly slanderous comments about clients on the forum, and got away with it, and one time only with a slap on the wrist, whilst God forbid if a specific unpopular member made such a post they would be banned right away.

So there is a lot of psychology into this mechanism..The same flawed psychology that is the reason why some of the least deserving people win competition shows - whilst the good ones get voted out early. It's all about POPULARITY and not actual content / talent, which is why you see the REAL talent on the street, in subways, on YouTube, who are rarely signed up or picked up by record companies - because apparently POPULARITY sells more, how pathetic and disturbing.

Another thing I should add to this great topic of life, because this is actually a GOOD topic as the topic is relevant to everyday life more so than complaining about lack of good posts.

There are people who go up the ladders in life by kissing proverbial arse, by sucking up, even though they probably don't mean a thing they say - I have seen this behaviour in real life all around me and online, particularly on other freelance projects I was on, and the ones who were always sucking up, in my experience at the time had the least experience in the field, they were highly successful and had lots of opportunity - whereas the opinionated ones with the most expert experience were the ones cast out and cut off........even though they were the TOP workers, most skilled and talented and had domain knowledge / certification. I've seen companies out people with the top experience over arse kissers and praisers. This happens a lot online too and on forums, obviously not here but in many places I have seen it. I don't want to cite names and examples because that would start big drama, some of the other companies/forums are long gone now but some still exist, and no I am not talking about NB, NB even though highly moderated and strict (applying rules to the T) they allow for humour, opinions, even strong ones. I'm talking about other places

There are people who complain about ANYTHING about others, just to complain - there are 2 types of complaints, VALID ones where something is obvious and context cannot be anything else, like when a member is insulting another on a personal level.........and there is another type of complaint where something that was said is open to multiple interpretation - Of course people will pick the worse form.

Some people have nothing better to do than read forum posts and complain. But are they really complaining about the POST / CONTENT or the PERSON because they dislike them. I have seen of my own eyes posters on another forum posting disparaging remarks against the very hand that feeds them, comments that would normally get someone terminated and possibly sued, but nope, no complaints, no nothing, and before the eyes of community leaders !!! WHY ? They were popular and liked by community - were they helpful otherwise, NO, most of their post were inflammatory and disparaging in nature. There's even a case where I saw a community leader berating a member for no reason, even though that member was extremely helpful and when that member reported the post of a community leader, ever since, most of that member's posts were flagged until eventually that member was terminated - It is a clear case of retribution and vengeance which is an illegal reason to terminate - YET you could see MANY posts from many other members that would definitely qualify for violations of half dozen rules, I mean ok rules are sometimes meant to be bent a little, not all forums apply rules to the T to some extent, BUT posts that disparage clients , where just ignored. I mean at least here on this forum offers and tasks forums are only visible to members and invisible to the public, whereas on other forums posts are visible to all even non members, so rules would obviously need to be applied STRICT, no exception, but of course only exceptions for the arse kissers and those who give the community leaders high praise and top scores in the KPI ......

This kind of crap does not happen here, because mods here know how to decipher between valid and invalid reports.
Not the case on other places i have seen where the mods / community leaders were the ones starting trouble

So these other places, the ones who were POPULAR made it to the TOP, not the most QUALIFIED and EXPERIENCED ones unfortunately.

This is why you have so much incompetence in many fields in business. Have you ever been in a situation where you go like "How the heck did they hire this person ?" Well go on YouTube, go in the street, go in the Subway, there are people with BIG TIME talents and skills far better than the garbage we hear everyday, yet unfortunately they may not have popularity, looks, etc, so they are discarded like trash.

Nowadays, only SEX, BEAUTY, LOOKS and POPULARITY sells. If someone cannot sing without ******* autotune, it's ok they get voted to the finals because they "LOOK" like stars, and the ugly / average Joe who's not into the "TRENDS" "FASHION" thing, will get voted off first.

The same BS mirrors online on forums.

So there are 2 choices, let yourself influenced and bullied by people who dislike you, OR stand your ground on your freedom of speech and your true opinions. Some people give in to crap and turn into something they are not.
Luckily some people keep their integrity and opinions at the cost of less popularity, but really, does popularity matter, nope, it accomplishes nothing - not here anyway because being an arse kisser here won't get you at the top of the ladder.But it WILL get you there elsewhere, I can name quite a few names, but won't for legal reasons,

At my job , some people like to talk a lot , they got fired.
