Hello guys, I believe that every change requires patience to adapt to the changes, but the opinion that I have at this moment is not very positive, I realized that they took the Payonner payment platform that for me was the fastest and most efficient, another disadvantage were clearly the searches that simply disappeared from the map :(
The former ClixSense Team should give us an explanation of why this sudden name change and change in the payment system, which in my view we have lost so much in quality and comfort.
Let's wait with patience and determination if there will be improvements as promised, does anyone out there have any complaints or compliments about the new "face" of ySense?

This can be for best. New name means can apply for some stuff who might of not allowed site before. I bet they had to do it to get PayPal back. Plus clixsense made no sense once most clix stuff left.

True it for the best. I am surprise aministrator didn't mentioned a word and I hope former website wasn't hacked!

I hope payoneer comes back as is 2nd best to paypal. If paypal comes back then it also fine

Again, a warning should have been issued.

Sorry but I do not believe this whole thing was just for the sake of PayPal, I have my theories on why CS sold, but I will not post about those theries here or anywhere, I will keep them to myself, they are based on extensive research of my own.

As far as name change this was predictable and expected, some of us discussed this on the forum ages ago it was even suggested that CS should change name to remove itself from the PTC industry and if they want PayPal to return etc, so I am not surprised by a name change. Some companies can change name through the same ownership as CrowdFlower did with Figure Eight. Since this is not only a name change but a whole different company, one that operates multiple other rewards site, then this would answer your other question as to why the change of payment methods, discontinuation of Checks, etc, it's whatever payment method is supported by the new company running things now.

As far as this topic, why create a new one when there was this topic:
Can we please get some answers ? Valerie / Staff | YSense Forum

It would helpful to mods and staff to put all of our questions and concerns into one topic in my opinion.

I have created a topic with all the questions and concerns, hopefully others can add to the list, it would be nice to get some answers though.

As far as why not being warned ahead of time, it is very odd indeed, usually when there are acquisitions you get a press release and announcement ahead of time. As happened when Appen acquired FigureEight. At least we got to keep ALL of the features of FigureEight, none were removed, this is mostly due to the fact they have kept the FigureEight team, this may not be the case for ySense, I don't know, but I think CS has indirectly hinted to us that they were selling, some subtle clues, like the policy change in March 2019, it may have been mostly due to upcoming regulations, but it also served a double purpose in stoking the doubts that CS was going to sell, there are other clues from personal research but I will not discuss.

Maybe a little break / vacation won't hurt, no rush :) I won't be supporting ySense though if it means we are going to get WORSE, when we were promised IMPROVEMENTS, but I am not going to close my account either, neither would I encourage anybody to do so, if someone can communicate with us other than the generic announcement, it would be nice and much appreciated.

Cheers

It's kind of surprising to me some people didn't see this coming.

Clixsense updated their terms back in March to include the following:

Business Transitions
In the event ClixSense goes through a business transition, such as a merger, consolidation, restructuring, acquisition by another company, sale or assignment of rights or assets or a portion thereof, or other company change, we may transfer users’ information, including Personal Information, and other collected business data in connection with that business transition (e.g., to a subsequent owner, co-owner, or operator of ClixSense and Features, or any affiliates and trusted agents, service providers, or partners of the foregoing), including during the course of any due diligence process.

It was fairly obvious something like this was in the pipeline since that being added to the terms all of a sudden almost signals a change is on its way of what it was pretty much implying....that a business transaction was taking place, just sort of indirectly... which is a little sneaky. I think you also had to accept the new agreement for those terms...can't remember.

When I saw the announcement in March, I even thought CS was already sold :D There are other clues outside the site that lead me to believe an acquisition was likely underway. This is not the first time CS changes owners, the first time they changed the site became better, so even those of us who were already suspicious that CS was going to get sold eventually, never did we expect its launch to be so bad - I had my theories as to who would likely buy CS, and when I saw the company that did, and the site that it owns, this is when my optimism has gone down to nil.

Understandable that site is not finished and stuff will be added gradually, but the surveys, seem to target more US now, the invites are WORSE than before.

Yeah, when I was told who the site is owned by now. I wasn't exactly pleased about it. Since I don't even use their other site very much any more, but we'll see how this goes. I kind of believe a lot of people may abandon this site now or stop by very infrequently, I'm likely to be one of them. Though that was already the case for me a while back.

Well, one thing for sure I am not going to work on this site FOR NOW, until we get some answers. As far as abandoning it, it's too soon, but it looks like some of us are heading on that path, there is no cashout option for some of us - I cannot imagine me closing my account here anytime soon, but I know for sure this will not be my main GPT site, it's sad because it was one of the best - I am very disappointed at the new site so far, but not ready to abandon it yet, will not support it for now until I see what happens since there is no way for me to cash out :D

I'm not so sure I want to work with the site the way it is now. I think it is unfair that they took the cash out option for a check since I don't like using the other options. There are still sites that offer checks and I may just work more on those!

No, Clixsense was not hacked.

Electronic cashouts (Payoneer, PayPal, Skrill) are processed every couple of days. Your cashout will be entered in the pending queue to be processed and will be done in the order it's received usually within 5 to 7 business days. It may be longer depending on many circumstances. All new accounts that request a cashout may be delayed up to 15 business days from the date the cashout was submitted. This is necessary in case of any fraudulent activity. New accounts are defined as those registered within the last 30 days or this is your first cashout.

In order to protect the integrity of our system, members from North America (USA and Canada) are required to have their postal address verified before they are eligible for electronic cashouts (Payoneer, PayPal, Skrill).

To request a payment click on the link "Cashout" that will be made available on your account summary page next to your account balance. This link will only be available once you have reached the minimum cashout amount. You are allowed to cash out two times per day.

After maintenance I have 2 questions:
1. Where is my referrer?
2. I can withdraw money only on PayPal and Amazon. Paypal, unfortunately, does not work in my country (Ukraine) and I do not want to buy anything on Amazon. That is, the withdrawal of money is closed to me ...

I didn't thought of the website maintenance before midnight on July 31 but more than that should have been said to reduce tension among members.

It's good to hear electronic payments methodes remaing including paypal coming back.
Since new site was create, I guess processor accounts previously owned by clixsense, will be linked to new website.

I know peanutlabs surveys are still in and hope tab research (something like that) will come back including those videos previously seen on clixoffer (I sure like those)

Yes, well, my experience of Prodege's main site (Swagbucks) makes this not at all surprising....things disappear then reappear on that site quite regularly with no explanation or apology. Prodege is all about earning money, not user satisfaction so bringing the site back up before it's even remotely ready so they can profit off the new site is not even slightly surprising
