It is against T.O.S to talk another site here

he is making a point, which is valid and based off a lot of peoples posts.

this is what jim really need to be worried about because if you remove the reason most of us came here, what stops us from going to a new place? oh i know he says he is working on new things, which i am willing to hear him bring forth, but at the same time he should be realistic that people losing money need to make up the difference.

change your name tas to Cindy Brady.

Did the math and I averaged 7,630 PTC ads a month.

Yeah, I'll notice the change..

I have been doing clicks on and off today, and have over 400 for the day - got just a little over $2 today. Not sure why you are not getting them if you are doing what you say.

370 total for me for $1.932 today. I know users outside of the US don't get these, but you do. Like msojation said, if you had been doing what you said, you'd probably have made even more than i did. the clixaddon pop up announces them sometimes too, not all the time, but somewhat often. Hopefully this advertiser will be willing to move these to the offers section in a couple weeks.......

13 days left to go, and what?
Then we will be at the mercy of the shady survey companies; the ones that cheat and lie, and steal your time and answers and don't pay?

One thing everyone is overlooking is that the ads are guaranteed, where the surveys , tasks, and some of the other offers are shady. I much rather spend an hour clicking ads, than wasting my time trying to qualify for a survey.

The nice thing about Clixsense is that there is something for everyone - if you like the surveys and offers, fine, do them. I do them as well, but do enjoy the ads. Taking away the PTC is us losing an option.

For those of you Paypal worshipers - I say just get over it and use another payment channel - try getting a check. I really hope that by getting rid of PTC is not just a way to appease Paypal - if so, you know where Paypal can go...

I don't think PayPal stopped doing business because of PTC ads. I believe they couldn't care less...

I actually mentioned this morning they could do these ads like website explorer and pay us 2 cents for 5 sites. If they did that it would be worth the big change. We could have all kinds of offers done daily as well. Today being the 4th I have got to scoot to the store and get lunch for us all so I may lose a few clicks, however yesterday after 11am there waas only about 5 clicks for me, sort of wasted the afternoon

b] PTC Clicks today 11 total 14,302 earned $30.8830[/b]
My ClixGrid Clicks today 20 total 20,580 earned $4.75
My Completed Tasks today 0 total 425 earned $7.10
My Completed Offers today 3 total 1,083 earned $448.45

Question: Do only special people get paid for doing ClixGrid? I could never understand why we were forced to do ClixGrid when it didn't pay anything. I've done it every day since I joined and never received a cent for doing the ClixGrid. What was the secret?

Not everyone gets website explorer so it wouldn't be fair to put the ads there for offers.

it is like buying a lottery ticket, some win some lose. i have noticed if you hit extra chances you seem to win something. if you don't get them not to often will you win. i personally click the same block of it daily, haven't won much but it is what it is.

you are thinking about this the wrong way. explorer is just like the PTC they are both set to the right demographics that the advertiser wants them to be shown at. nobody is going to pay for a ad to be shown worldwide when their product can't be bought in those markets.

this is the troubling thing i find with this change. it is next to impossible to find advertisers for tier 3 countries, you can find some for tier 2, but mainly they aim for tier 1. so removing something that was based for all countries i just don't see how you can replace it. if you look at all the big places CS will be going up against you will notice they do not even deal with t3 countries and limit t2 ones, sooooo????

I'm sad about the change too. I can't do the tasks because my Crowdflower account is messed up. I won't be able to do the surveys because I never qualify for them. So I would only be able to offers which wouldn't be much. My suggestion is have where you get paid for attempt of a survey.

all i can say to this is i hope jim does not do this, and really hope he/and people who request it reads why. that money to pay for failed attempts comes out of people who do complete them, all this does is lowers the amount you could make if you do end up completing a survey. one of the saving graces of cs right now is they do pay higher then many other places for surveys.

i feel bad for jim right now he has a lot on his plate and this can turn out good or bad, who knows...

I'll not be doing any surveys since every time I've tried, I am wasting my time. I get told I don't qualify. At least when we click a PTC ad, we can be assured to earn a tiny bit of money. I would have preferred you did away with the multi tiered pay structure in an effort to appease PayPal.

as many said. i used to count on ptc
of course surveys give a lot, but some countries like here dont get any or most of surveys that come dont work or i cant do them.
so all we can do sit months waiting for any real surveys to come or leave.

also i have been getting paid with paypal only, i dont wish to start on different sites as it will be problem moving money from site to site and may require asking middle person which is a risk.

so even if i worked hard to get affiliate there's no way to cash out.

so i guess as many i will leave, im glad i cashed out as soon as i earned enough

mamerala, try to focus a bit on tasking. It's frustrating at the beginning, but eventually you will get used to it. And I think admin Jim will try to find new ways for us to earn...
