paypal is just as unreliable as any other payment processor :(

Totally agree.
And what would happen if we are again betrayed?
We have to think about that too,

Change the Identity of a Company, which In My opinion I see it as a "desire / fancy / or comfort"

I do not see it "Correct"

In addition, "other Payment Processors" exist

Okay, they do not work as well as "Paypal",
And are less popular, But, they "function" and not so "bad"

And we are in the "time of the Bitcoin" currency without restrictions, or something,

It is only a question and need, to learn to use it, and without "intervention of third parties" that sometimes generate problems

And another thing, what would happen with users who have many referrals, would lose them? And would it be fair?

Although he thinks better,

Regarding this, I do not see it necessary to eliminate the reference system, if it happened to eliminate the "PTC"

I think they should. Add another type of Referral commissions, as in MJ or Offers, etc., a small percentage, I know not only is an Idea, thought to "happen"

In the end, Depend on One Company, is never good, you always have to have alternatives. So be Paypal, Payza, etc.

And I do not think doing, this is good,
But it is true, the Ads do not generate so much profit, nor for users, and "I BELIEVE" that for the Owner, either, but how does a new user start? That does not live in the United States? For example, it would simply be impossible for him to advance, and with that encouragement seeing his balance at 0, while learning, but I remind you that it is My Opinion,

I hope there is "Democracy" in the Final decision, but It is true, the Admin, will have the last word,

PS: Until when will this vote last?

PS 2,: Sorry for the English bad

I have to say without Paypal it makes it kind of hard to figure how to get paid, so for this month I used Tango I am going to see what happens. My daughter loves buying on Amazon so might as well go with the Amazon card through them. It will make it so much easier on me. But I usually prefer Paypal so easy to transfer to my debit card and no issues.

I guess if we keep the PTC and don't have Paypal I can make do and can keep adding to my Amazon account until I can buy Christmas for the kids come November. Plus using Tango that way we don't have to pay taxes like we do with Paypal cash. With Paypal if we make over $2000 in a year they report us to the IRS. And that can get nasty if we don't pay taxes on it.

It's a danged if you do and danged if you don't situation.

Yeah, I stand with you on this point.
Those of us in Tier-3 countries would have nothing left since offers and surveys are practically non-existent.

valerie wrote: Jim, you know better than we do what your stats are, what's happening, enrollment increase or decrease, activity level, etc. You also know where the money is.

ClixSense has been online for ten years. I think it's time to revamp and up the game. Do away with the PTC. Do away with the ClixGrid. Get the programmers working to get ClixSense up to date. Implement Mobile. Implement an APP. Redesign the website. Implement Cash Back Shopping.

Those that say the PTC is gone, they won't earn nothing. Well if that is all you do here, you don't earn nothing any way. Seriously, what is your average earnings per month from viewing ads only? I just betcha that most that do nothing but view ads daily, are lucky to make $2.00 a month. The exception would be perhaps the USA when a big PTC advertiser comes to town but that is rare.

You can say whatever you want but the people that utilize PayPal, you know where they go. They just head over to a competitor site and I am not referring to NB.

Valerie,
I am sure you are not considering the Tier-3 Countries. I thought we make up the statistics.
If we get as much surveys and offers, I would not have bothered. But we do not. It is not our fault therefore if PTC is all we ever do

Really complicated question, but maybe not that hard. Admin said in other forum ClixSense just fine without PayPal, and probably would be fine without Ads and Grid. So not really a bad or good decision, just a deicision. PTC is an old dinosaur, but still popular. Some people just underestimate the power of ads. In many country 200 or 300$ is a monthly salary, and yes a few cents per day is not much, but again, this is much more complicated. ClixSense is really popular because ClixSense is a PTC/GPT hibrid. You can complete 5 surveys per day, awesome, f. e. in my country maybe 1 or 2 per month. So the PTC section is a reason to log in every day, to promote the site, and after i earn a few bucks it "forces me" to complete a survey or a task, just because i want to reach the higher minimum as soon as possible (human mentality). It's a nice symbiosis. You can't just simply remove the whole ads section without any major changes, i think anyway.
Mobil App would be nice? Definitely.
Online shop would be nice? Definitely.
Better bitcoin support would be nice? Definitely. But this is not a question (also not related with any payment processor).
Any PayPal guarantee ClixSense will be fine without ads? 8 levels upgrade system will be ok? The Casino related offers will be ok? And don't get me wrong, PayPal for me the best payment option, and also my favourite payment method, and i really want it back (and i know it's very popular), but i just don't think turning ClixSense to a "Tier 1 country only GPT site" would be a good decision. Statistical geography, here we go.
(sorry about my english)

This situation is very tough, because if Clixsense keeps PTC ads people will disappear from here because there is no paypal. If you remove PTC ads people will disappear too, because some people only earn from the ads. The only thing that it seems work is to remove PTC ads but give to members the opportunity to earn from other things like tasks surveys and offers. You also need to introduce new ways of earning if crowdflower keep the level system, it is very rare to appear 0 level tasks and so, members can't level up and can't complete more tasks. What I would like you to do is talk with crowdflower so task authors create more 0 level tasks instead of 1 level.

Clixsense should not be adapted to paypal policies.

Paypal needs more to clixsense. :clixsense:

Paypal earns a lot of money with clixsense and wants to come and put conditions?
There are better services, faster, effective and do not charge expensive fees

That is exactly my point.......to restructure the system and introduce new ways for everyone to make money.

As usual however, there are members here that do not read topics in it's entirety. They just jump on one
sentence and that is it.

Anyway, I think this is a good topic IF members will put their thinking caps on and try to contribute to
some possibilities. Instead of just voting yes or no. When people put their brains together, they can
often find solutions to accommodate everyone.

I just checked my stats, last year in November and December combined, i made exactly $200 just clicking ads, money i used towards giving my kids a little better christmas. Depending upon which ad campaigns are running and for how long, i can still make a ton of money clicking on ads this year as well. And when they're not running, i do the offers instead. That's the beauty of clixsense, having those awesome ad campaigns AND the numerous offers to do. I had been using paypal as well to cash out, it was fast and convenient with low fees, but hey, if they're going to be the way they are, then to heck with them. I love my ads AND my offers, and that is why i will continue to use clixsense. Getting rid of either one will be getting rid of me. I can't believe you guys are seriously considering cannibalizing your wonderful site just to appease a suddenly ridiculous acting payment processor!

Paypal doesn't need Clixsense. Clixsense is small for them. It's like a (drip) in an ocean. They ended relation with far bigger sites with less time than that

Some changes won't hurt. Getting rid of PTC ads and the Clixgrid would hurt the earnings of most of the users but it's not like there aren't hundreds of PTC sites out there. Keeping just the offers, the tasks and the surveys won't be enough for the majority of current users. Adding some new features like website slides, mobile app where people can watch video ads, getting paid to read e-mails, etc. would be awesome and will bring new customers as well.
