There are two schools of thoughts on profile pictures.

The first is that you should be consistent with them, so you can be recognised wherever you are. I have hundreds of usernames, but the photo is always me. Different photos of me, but I'm weird and eccentric, so you always know it's me.

The second is that you should be inconsistent with them so you cannot be recognised anywhere you are. This is a better plan if you're a nobody likes you, or if you have one of those faces people just want to slap.

People imitate people they respect. If you're respected - or better yet, liked - you should always make sure people know who they're talking to at a glance.

Personally, I'm like Marmite - brown and sticky. I mean, you either love me or hate me, but it tends to be better to have that consistency than not.

@ BouldRake

That's the first straight answer I've ever seen you state.

I fully agree.

I do the same as you stated.

I'm kinda like Gibbs on NCIS when Gibbs Smacks Tony on Back of the Head for doing something stupid.

I see someone doing something stupid on line and they defend it, they get that smack upside the back of the head.

Same here. Folks either love me or hate me. But, I will not lower my IQ to please those that has no greater ambitions
than the dumb stuff I see many do because they were lead to believe that's they way to do things.
