Well this is the price to pay for abuse. Now people cannot genuinely do more than 1 hit at a time,
if there are other JOB IDs, now it's 1 at a time. I think they found a cheap way to cut corners and get more UNIQUE testers and not saturated the VMs too much. GTA + CandyCrusher = this result. It should not come to any surprise.

BuzzStarter - another eg of poor Step instructions... One step has two links, one starting with "http" another with just "www." to be entered in two different Boxes.

Now, it shows error when I submit that page and ofcourse, that error is due to the site not accepting links starting with "www". The site only accepts "http" (the 2nd box had no issues where we needed to put "http")

Now, in such scenarios, you actually get confused. Whether you should :
-manually edit url and put http
-report this idiosyncrasy of Step Writer.

the GTA, but hopefully it will give more people a chance to do hits. If they had to even resort to this proves that it was a serious problem. Also they might have had complaints from their clients of noticing too many same accounts doing the hits at the same time - as well as RF, so they want to try to get more UNIQUE testers for a given HIT.

This punishes the genuine person who has legally obtained assignments from 2 or more JOB IDs.......

Also means that RF realised there is fewer hits now. If they had loads of work I'm sure they would
keep the limit to 4 or even higher (it was far more than 4 back in the days - The most JOB IDs I have seen at ONE TIME is 6, and I remember that clearly.

But that said I think the MAIN reason RF did this, is to allow for more *UNIQUE* tester IDs working on hits.
Technically, a person doing GTA could have had 4 sessions to the SAME HIT - and the authors SEE our IDs, when they see 4 SAME tester ID for one test, they report back to RF.

Hopefully this could mean more hits for everyone else with FAIR CHANCE !

You are right, they are planning on getting more tester's test there hits rather than single user doing the same and same hit multiple times.

Mine was in CRAP EXPLORER 8, so I only saw a black box, no image.
Got rejected of course due to cheaters. in TRAINING when you get rejection it's
instant ADMIN +1.
I have 4 tickets regarding questions to support, 28 days old seems now RF no longer responds
to tickets.
They have gone just as bad as CF .

You can only access 2 hits at once now (new policy)
Or you may have abandoned hits earlier, that leaves session open, you will have to wait for
those sessions to time out or complete the hits you have opened if applicable.
Did you try to refresh too many times a hit and get accessed too many times message ?
That session still remains open - just wait for a while and try refreshing again.

I refreshed only 1 page..
But I just received an error "you have too often requested" and I given up task page and then i gave this error..
Now it is OK and now i take 9 steps hit.

When you open a hit you can only refresh it 4 times after that the hit is taken away from you, think of it as lives in a game xD

I knew that I'd read this before!! I don't think that's the case. Does anyone know for sure?

You are right, they are planning on getting more tester's test there hits rather than single user doing the same and same hit multiple times.

I think they purposely let the 4 limit slide, it was convenient for RF because results were being completed faster.
Now they have fewer clients, fewer hits, more workers, and probably got complaints from authors. Just like on PTC / advertisers want unique views.

I wouldn't be surprised if they put more limits soon like limit of number of hits per ID per person.

It will come to that, the actions of a few can have an impact for everyone, and this can't be said enough.

Instead of making those changes they should set priority to close registrations to RF, and get rid
of yes workers, have more strict guidelines, manually approve new workers with a long/extensive
training (sort of probation) before they get accepted.
Right now they are only putting a band aid on the abuse, not actually fixing it. RF still has a few "holes"
to fix.

@cookin2: Yes there is indeed a limit to how many times you can restart a HIT. I've never really counted, but could be around 4 or 5.......but there is a limit. After that you will get the "you've accessed this hit too many times please return assignment"

If it is IE, I always expect that all image boxes were broken or page okay but with error . Happened to me, they asked if the rainforest logo "leaf" were visible, and it was a small box. Of course rejected
