I think it's coming folks, I see the dark storm clouds similar to the
ones yesterday, watch out, I have a feeling it's going to rain later,

I really like the idea of helping each other in cs forums but cs has nearly 5 million members and posting that kind things mess everything up hit numbers decrase day by day because of that type of people. We are all here for money and giving our time so people has to be more careful about their posts so we all have to stand against this and protect the forum.Ignoring these issues will messed everything up.

How about if I thank you I just got one of those hits where I could see it start to load and the refresher saw it too Took your advice and quickly stopped the refresher and manually tried it - worked perfectly!

No unfortunately I rely on my personal notes based on previous patterns.
(This is one tip I gave a lot in previous topics, take notes, from the time
and days you open a hit window, and if you see recurring patterns, use
it to your advantage, there is never any guarantee of hits, but knowing
ahead of time the best time ranges can help.

So no it may rain later or it may not, it's like weather forecast you base it on trends and what you see on radar, but things can change suddenly

So disclaimer added: There may or may not be rain later I'd say 70% chance of rain, (but keep in mind the clouds can change direction too!).

No, ranking and score does NOT affect frequency of hits, it is only used for
the internal algorithm that approves or rejects work compared to other workers.
The algo will factor in your internal reputation and weight score over those who
answer differently with lower score. All these are used internally, but have no
effect - so long as you have an active account your odds are the same.
I think where there are more variables is CF, you need to go through CF assignment to reach RF hits, and I think those assignment links go on rotator or based on contributor ID, channel, etc.

I noticed something concerning, the latest hit I got to the JOB ID, I got a blue
assignment link, BUT the timer was 8:30 and not 60 minutes !!! Could this be
another one of RF's ridiculous changes ? Luckily terminal was fast, but on times
when server is slow there is no way one could finish some hits in that time.

What about the big hits ? No way these can be done in 8 minutes lol!

They are creating a big monster if they did this..... and I won't mention what.

I got a HIT on CF about an hr ago and it was fine. a full 60 minutes. But there was a message on the CF page about issues they are having so perhaps that is impacting it.

Could that have been the time you had left on the previous HIT window?
