Ideal example set by the king of beast on how to treat it's subjects.
Being the king, all the jungle animals are his citizens and he should try to protect them; not eat them.

Though wonder what happened to the baby calf later.

Thanks TigerHeart (or should I address you as 'LionHeart' as your avatar image is that of a White Lion ;) )
for sharing the video. :)

You've a good sense of humor there... You read my mind. Actually, I did think of 'LionHeart', but that username had already been taken. So, I decided to keep 'TigerHeart'... ;)

BTW, do you wanna know what happened to the baby calf :!: I wanna keep it a suspense. Watch & find it out yourself. It moved me to tears... So, try not to

Thanks I just checked that the username 'Lion-Heart' (with the hyphen in-between) is still available. :)
But you've been quite known & popular with the present name, so it's worth keeping it now. :D

Thanks for the Documentary, TigerHeart. Really heart-warming to see the bonding between the wild & civilized. But sometimes that demarcation line gets blurred; who knows deep down inside they don't have a human soul?

You know, you should really watch the film Born Free; it's a classic with a great musical score based on the novel of same name by Joy Adamson. It's about raising an orphan Lioness Elsa, a very similar story to that of the document.

If you haven't seen this movie yet, you should see it. :)

Thanks for the clips, real fascinating! I remember yrs. ago seeing something similar in Nat Geo or Animal Planet channel. These, along with the Discovery channel - where you will always find something real worth to watch for. :)

Yes, sometimes due to copyrights issues some films are difficult to find online. And this one is a classic one from 1966. However, I found a site where they claim to be complying with the DMCA rules while sharing the films.

Here's the link to the movie: Born Free | OLD MOVIE CINEMA
Hope it can be watched without any problem. :)

You're most welcome! :) I got several links in the search, just was concerned about the legality & that link seemed legit. These kind of films are really hard to find (maybe the only other way is to rent from the local dvd-library) & am glad that you liked it.
