Because pictures are not verified by ClixSense, sometimes the cat may be too hard to find. In this case you may either click on "Reload" to get a new set of pictures (odds are the new set will be easier) or use the "process of elimination" (if all the other pictures are dogs then this must be the cat!).

Most pictures will be fine and you can spot the cat, some odd ones are difficult,
if unsure hit reload, that's what I do when it happens and rarely it does.

I think these bot traps are essential to a PTC unlike that other site where you have to type ridiculously long captchas, copy/paste 3 lines of text, etc.
unless they start making cat recognition bots lol!

I like their feature of pets.

I've read some complaints about displaying lots of cats but in reality,
it's the other way around. Dogs are displayed mostly.

Kind of funny because I have bad eyesight....very bad. I rarely have
any problems with choosing a cat from a dog. Very rare. If I do, I
simply do the 'try again' and get it.

After clicking many ads, it rarely happens to miss and click dog. Personally I like animals, and its noble from Clixsense to place this picture so someone could see and adopt cat or dog.

These pictures don`t bother me because it has become I already do click it automatically.

I'm tired of seeing grown cats all the time on the cat-captcha -- why can't they show more kittens instead

Petfinder - Adopt a Pet! discriminates against Bird and Monkey owners.

Bird Owners On Strike!

And before this spins totally out of control....... I'm just kidding.

Why can't ClixSense display lettuce and tomatoes?

I'd much rather click on salad!

Who can't determine a radish from a head of lettuce?

How bout a carrot for crying outloud!

I think vegetables are being discriminated against!

I love both the cats and the dogs. I get carried away sometimes looking at a cute puppy and forget and click on it. :o But then I just click the "try again button" and all is well.

And, Valerie, I too would like clicking on vegetables. Just as long as they don't put pictures of pies, cakes and ice cream I guess I'll be okay :)

I do the exact same thing leeuna....I will look at the pet images and some times I
see one that attracts my attention so much that I click on it. It's not
that I don't realize it's a dog, I just get caught up in how cute it is and want to see
more of it, forget momentarily what I am doing. I especially tend to look closer at
the 'maltese' dogs since I have one.

I adore the dogs and cats :)

I have a pet rabbit who lives with me in the house (Almost 8 years old bless him! Also the third most popular pet after cats and dogs apparently!), so I wouldn't mind seeing pics of bunnies hehehe!

Animals are wonderful, the best thing you could have on the captcha in my opinion! (How do you pronounce "captcha" anyway?) I've never heard of it until I joined Clixsense! :D

The term CAPTCHA stands for 'Completely Automated Public Turing Test To Tell Computers and Humans Apart' and is used to generate tests that humans can pass but automated systems like bots cannot.

How to Pronounce Captcha - YouTube ;)

Thank you ptcscrutiny for the very informative reply :)

I had a look at the video and I now know how to pronounce Captcha! Simpler than it looks!

Thanks for asking the question I've never asked for fear of sounding ignorant. I know, I know, there's no such thing as a dumb question, but still.... :)

I'm going to make ClixSense my pet project.

I agree. I too is tired of Catting around on Clixsense with Cat images.

Did you know a Cat can live off the land and survive eating bugs and grass.

Catting around does not provide educational value.

Hey Clixsense........ Don't be a mindless1

Give you clue. Once a person is dead. The Game is Over.

What's more important than a person health?

Valerie had a good point about produce.

Monsanto, makers of the Frankenstein seeds is pushing toxic BT Corn and demanding
that all foods not be labeled that it's GMO.

Illness and sickness begins with the digestive system. When a lie is told long enough
people start believing it's the truth.

Look at lie with FDA on Aspartame / Phenylalanine. Cause 92 illnesses, cancer, diabetes
and many other sicknesses that leads to death before your time.

So. tell us ClixSense. What's really important. A cat that can survive on the land or
Monsanto that pushing it's Frankenstein foods on the people.

How about some changes on the images.

I've never to this day ever seen a CAT that will protect it's master if someone
breaks in your home.

Home some DOG Images. Man's best Friend.
