Quote:There are many doors to goodness. (Saying) ‘glory to God,’ ‘praise be to God,’ ‘there is no deity but God,’ enjoining good, forbidding evil, removing harm from the road, listening to the deaf (until you understand them), leading the blind, guiding one to the object of his need, hurrying with the strength of one’s legs to one in sorrow who is asking for help, and supporting the weak with the strength of one’s arms – all of these are (forms of) charity prescribed for you.

I think he has a little bit of a nerve to blame the press instead of putting the blame on the brutal acts which some of them commit in the name of their God.

For fear of dragging the thread off topic...

They want to divide us. They want to turn us against each other, and if not cause a civil war, at least cause civil unrest. This is how all guerilla wars are fought. We can't let that happen. We must stand solid together, and that solidarity must include normal, every day Muslims, who are just regular people like you and I. The minute we start throwing rocks at each other is the minute ISIS win. The only way to honour the people to have died in this war so far is to rebuild bridges between our communities, and stand as one.

All men are frauds. The only difference between them is that some admit it. I myself deny it.

Even if it seemed so, I never meant to throw any rocks at anyone, I just disagree with Mohammad's statement and find it quite childish. Of course not everyone is the same and not every Muslim is a terrorist. But I don't think the solution is blaming the press; the press doesn't make up those terrorist attacks. There is a rotten core within Islamism which is the obvious reason why so many people think of Muslmis as haters. Hate is hate and violence is violence, that's what I (and any person with the slightest hint of humanity within, I guess) condemn; not the prayer or the God one prays to.

Sorry to everyone about this little off topic, by the way.
