microsoft security essentials is not worth the effort or the time to install because all it does is mess up your computer and slow it wqay down it is not a true antivirus program

Don't use it if you don't like, try and find another one.

I am using Microsoft Security Essentials for past 1 year. I am really happy with it. Personally I feel that it is far better than other free antivirus

Only negative for MS essentials is it take a long time for healing the virus. But normally it wont make the system slow .

Neither. My birthday isn't until next week but I got a Dell and I received it so I set it up early. Mine died a couple months ago and I was using a borrowed one. So you see? I couldn't just leave it in the box for a whole week.

Well, no AV's are all-around programs; some can either be heaven sent or just a heavy paper weight for one's system ;)

 If one needs a read-on, try this little nugget:

Search Engine Keywords: gizmo, techsupportalert, best-free-anti-virus-software list

( Note: Direct links are not allowed, so just copy-paste the keywords  )
