Why Don't Kids Want to Work? » Post #51

She also climbs trees, and rides bikes, and hikes, and camps, and stuff. Guess what I do in my spare time.

Give me a child until he is 7 and I will show you the man.

yep agree.. permanently attached to her phone....

How they learn that ???? From parents , that is why I say that parents are to blame , we are problem

Why Don't Kids Want to Work? » Post #49

By playing video games, the kids don't want to do anything else. Why would they play with toys or go outside, or just spend time with family, if they have an Xbox, PlayStation, Phone, or whatever they have. Now a lot of kids depend on video games to keep them busy. And why all of this? Because parents buy their kids a phone or game consol at a young age, but then the kid becomes obsessed with it. It's fine to play video games here and there, but when you play it all the time, then that is a different story. I'm glad a grew up during a time when everybody wasn't obsessed with video games and actually went outside to play. Now it is hard to even get a kid outside So that is why I think this generation is lazy

Who is to blame ??? Parents who always tell their children go play, watch TV, play video games, and do something away, just leave me alone because they are tired, and they are watching TV to relax.

Weren't you guys down there in severe drought less than a year ago? Dorothea Mackellar really was spot on about this vast nation that stretches from the tropics almost to Antarctica:

I love a sunburnt country,
A land of sweeping plains,
Of ragged mountain ranges,
Of droughts and flooding rains.

-- Dorothea Mackellar - "My Country"

yep , last year ... now rain is not stoping .. did you read about Flood of the Century in Tas this year
