I've never been much of a fan for eating lobster.

Yes I meant Mercurochrome.

Mercurochrome is not sold in the USA. It was when I was a kid.

In the movies they clean the wound with whiskey.....whisky.....booze.

So if in need of medical attention during the doomsday virus, and shelves
no longer have meds, just grab the booze. Better than nothing. I think.

are dirtier than toilets.

The reason why they are stocking up on meat here, is due to the possibility animals
may become infected. So they want to get the meat before it happens.

Remember the times they slaughtered millions of cows and such due to mad cow
sickness?

Bleach is always great to have on hand. Get it, on hand?

A big jug of whisky too. Everyone should keep a bottle of whiskey. If you can
locate moonshine, that is even better.

I remember the good ole days when they sold Iodine. They don't sell it in the
States any more.

All that stuff is good to have on hand, rubbing alcohol, whisky, peroxide, bar
soap, hand soap, antibacterial soaps, etc etc etc.

Gosh I never even gave thought to rubbing alcohol or peroxide. I always have a couple
of bottles of each. I'll have to look at the shelves for those items next time I am there,
out of curiosity.

So today my sister and I was at Walmart and I noted that shelves are much
less than they have been.

Many items almost out or very low quantity: Toilet Paper, Wipes, Antibacterial Hand Soap, Antibacterial Hand Sanitizer, Paper Towels, Dish Washing Liquid, Lysol and Clorox Disinfectant Wipes, Ramen Noodles, Tiny can food products-Beanie Weenies, Vienna Sausages, water.

I also noticed by looking at what others had in their cart...lots of meats, toilet paper, sanitizers and disinfectants, baby diapers (pampers, etc) dog foods and treats, can goods.

So that's how it is going presently in my neck of the woods.

I'm too lazy to be a prepper. That takes too much work.

When the virus kills me, I will be right here, slumped over my desk with my eyes
wide open staring at those $0.14 cent surveys.

Told you , read that topic » Post #2

The place to rush, is the two pharm companies making the virus.
But stock in those now, you might make a fortune tomorrow.

I read the anti virus (when ready) will cost between $50 to $100.
They'll make BILLIONS!

On the Walmart website, they stopped home delivery on toilet paper
and wipes, and some other items too. My sister and I was in a Walmart
today....guess what I bought? Yes, I bought toilet paper, wipes, and
Clorox antibacterial cleaning sheets.

One never knows. Better safe than sorry.

Yeah, I think you are wrong.

People have a ways to go yet before the end. People are not cyborgs yet.

When 90% of the populations in the world have chip implants in their heads,
then it will be time to worry.

They rescheduled my surgery to the next Friday.......Friday the 13th. YIKESSSSS!!!! :o

I am nearsighted and no I have not had laser surgery.

Cataract removal surgery was my choice. In other words, I did not have to get it done
now. I saw no reason not to get it done now. With cataracts, they get worse with age
and vision is cloudy. Night driving is the worst.

They cut one or two tiny slits in the eye to place the new lens. The eye heals itself.
There are three different drops I take, 4 times per day after surgery. After one week,
I go down to two of the different drops for two more weeks.

Those drops are also used by me for three days before surgery. I'd say altogether
on surgery day, there are 50 drops they place in the eye, mostly before surgery and
some immediately after surgery. One of the drops is referred to as pepper because
it stings for several moments.

They covered me with a blanket and then placed over my face something that felt
like a heavy rubber blanket that reveals only the eye they operate on. They open
the eye with some tool that keeps the eye open. I did not feel anything at all. I
could see a bright light and I could see sort of a swishy fluid two times. The actual
surgery couldn't have took any more than 5 minutes.

I'll find out for sure what they gave me in my iv, my next surgery.

I suppose the ideal solution would be a bidet that washes your butt for you.

Oh yes, lovely subject. :silent:
