Cats have invaded » Post #5

The point was the member saw two advertisements after clicking the CATcha and both ads were web pages that had kittens on them. Kind of ironic or CATsendental.

It is bad.

Any where on your body you are doing a constant prolonged function, can get carpal tunnel in that area.
Usually happens in hands and arms tho.

It's important to rest your arms too and not lean on your elbow on your desk. I had a habit of that once
and got carpal tunnel in my arm and elbow. It will be a constant ache, some times some swelling.

I rest my arms in my lap and on my chair arms as much as possible. I always use a mouse pad with
the big hump on it for my wrist.

No you don't know and back then, it was very shocking simply because it all looked so good and so
professional and the admins seemed so nice and professional too.

It's very wise to have two checking accounts if possible. Especially if you are using your regular
checking account to pay bills and such. It's a headache if you have to close it and open another.
Better to be safe than sorry and have two.

Ya, if there is a really good scammer out there, it's mighty easy for them to get ya.
So what's really important is to protect yourself first. Doing your research is not
always enough. You have to keep your risks low as possible by taking the necessary
precautions to protect your accounts and such.

OKpay may be wonderful and it probably is legit. I have not taken the time out to
research it. But I have heard some bad talk about it.

Well I can't find it. I do pull up a lot for 'Mazuma' which mostly discusses mobile phones.

I wish I could remember the name of that payment processor and their actual scam was
known by a couple of names....one of the names was at least similar to the name mazuma.

Well let me tell ya a little story and I am sure a lot of people would remember it if I could think of the name.

There was a payment processor that came online some years ago...maybe around 7 years ago.
It was real nice. Very professional. The site was bright greens and whites and was excellent inside and out.
It had a very great layout too.
Inside the member area, you could see those you referred to it, and that was a very cool set up too...you
could mouse over their name and see their country and it was sort of in a big circle type fashion. I mean
that processor had some really truly great features and some I have never seen again.

Millions of people joined it. I couldn't tell you how many people I referred to it but it was a whole lot.

They were very professional. They sent emails on a regular basis.

Then one day they added another option of their users. Members could pay $100 and receive some
additional benefits. I don't remember what those benefits were, I did not pay it.

Time went by. Members kept waiting for the actual send and receive money to be implemented.
It was all there, but not everything was functioning yet in regards to the 'money'.

One day it went POOF! Ok, say they up and ran off. Of course everyone was upset and everyone
was having a jaw dropping experience. I truly could not believe it. If anything was going to go POOF,
it would not have been that. At first everyone thought it was an error, they would be back...of course
they never came back.

Many months passed.

A year passed.

More months passed.

One day, I took a really good look at my bank statement.
Hmmmm I thought, what is this? I looked at some past bank statements....there again, hmmmm
what is this? I was seeing $49.95, $75.00, $120.00, and so on taken out of my bank account by
something with a funny name I could not even pronounce. I called my bank right away and they
told me to come into the bank so that they could research it, etc.

In the mean time, I went online and began to search that funny name. I found loads and loads
and loads of information. Turns out, it was that highly professional payment processor that had
been automatically withdrawing funds from gazillions of bank accounts....from the information we
so gladly handed them!

I never got my money back. I had to close my checking account. I of course reopened a new
checking account but it was all a big headache.

I learned a very good lesson that day, IF you are going to do business online, keep TWO checking
accounts. I have had two checking accounts ever since. I keep one for online biz only and that
is the only one I relay to the payment processors. If something happens, I close it, no big deal,
it does not interrupt my main checking account. I also transfer from that second checking account
on a very regular basis, to my main checking account. So my balance in the second checking
account, is almost always at a $0 balance. As soon as funds hit that second account, I transfer
it out.

With all that said, I think it was known as the 'Mazuma Scam'. I'll have to research it to see as
I don't remember.

Guide to analyze any PTC Site is scam or not :- » Post #5

Look at all the bux programs that had/have forums. Most of them are junk programs and some of them are in fact outright scams. But they most all have forums. And I am not saying all bux programs are junk, I want to be clear about that. There are a few solid bux programs out there. Some of the bux programs that are probably also some of the best, are the small ones with small member databases. For example, there is one that is owned by a ClixSense member and last I saw it, it had less than 300 members. However, I happen to know the owner and he is a good man. He is certainly going to pay his members. The flip side of those that are small yet legit, is the fact it probably takes a very long time to earn enough to cash out and make it worth someone's time to use it. And still yet, the flip side to that is, there are programs that begin small and may even stay small for years, then tend to boom almost over night.

I'm a member of a program that is a sleeper. I've mentioned it before. Unfortunately it is only for 3 countries. It's been online 5 years, has a nice database of members, but it's not large. Members earn nothing on referral clicks. But they do earn 1 full cent on their own clicks. I average between 40 to 60 cents per day, simply on my own clicking. It is a gpt program so members do earn on ref doing offers. What I am trying to relay is, there are very solid programs out there, ptc, gpt, etc, that are very legit, do pay out as stated, may not have a forum, may not be large, may basically be unknown to most the population.

Also, it is a good idea to do searches but I personally don't pay much attention to what people say. Many say anything to get you to enroll and the flip side to that is....many will say anything to not get you to enroll due to them not liking the industry or having a grudge against the owner or just to be talking out their butt.

Can't say as I agree with number three. There are many programs that don't have a forum and are legit.
ClixSense is a perfect example, they did not have a forum for almost 5 years.

No, they really are designed that way for a purpose and it really is to prevent carpal tunnel. It keeps your hand and wrist more aligned and rested.
