Man stalkes by Mountain Lion ( Utah) » Post #4

It was on Yahoo this morning and it does have thousands of views.

He finally thru a rock at her and she ran off. I believe her intentions were to simply
scare him far away from her cubs. If she wanted to get him, she could have way
back at the start. They are fast! And you can see in the video several times that
she made her scare jump tactic at him, the fast pounce.

Ya I have tubi on my roku but never watch it.

I did the free trial some years ago with Shudder and I was not very impressed with it.
At that time, they had not been around long so it may have a lot more content now.
I think they do some of their own programs and movies too.

That would be fine if he wants to come over to my house and install cameras.

I don't pay a subscription. I have Arlo cameras. With Arlo, you can view any
time of day or night and it keeps in the cloud 7 days free. But each base station
is to hold up to 3 cameras. I do have a second base station but have not used
it and I also have additional cameras that I have not used. That is the issue...
camera views can become distorted and have delays when there is a lot of
cameras in use. This is why I was wanting to know if there is a good product
that is a booster.

I think these days, internet service needs to be even stronger to carry
all the smart devices and cameras. No doubt, wired cameras are best.

I have a base station for my cameras that plugs into my router. I want
to add more cameras but I think it best to use a second base station.
However, all that is going to pull internet juice so I am not sure how good
the quality of the cameras will be.

It's confusing. :D

I am wanting to extend my outdoor camera receptions.

I've glanced at Amazon at some WiFi boosters. I am not sure that is what I am looking for.

Is this what I want?
Amazon.com: Google Nest WiFi Router (2nd Generation) – 4x4 AC2200 Mesh Wi-Fi Router with 2200 Sq Ft Coverage: Computers & Accessories

If that is what I want, do I connect it to my Arlo base station or connect it to my Spectrum router or
does it simply work thru an APP/Bluetooth?

I just looked and Shudder still offers a 7 day free trial.

Oh you know what.....

If you go directly to shudder, bypass Amazon, they usually offer a free trial.
I did take their free trial once and canceled it before the payment date.

Well, it's worth .99 cents but you could jot down the title so you don't forget it.
At some point it may become available.

I could tell you the rest but it would certainly spoil it for you if at any point in
the future you decide to watch it.

Empathy Incorporated starts out with an investor or financial adviser that loses his
job and is broke. His wife is a small time actress trying to make it on the stage but
not having much luck. They move in with her retired parents.

Her parents have over one million dollars in retirement savings. One day the broke
investor is at a bar and meets up with an old school mate. The man tells the broke
man that he is on to something big, a new virtual reality system that places people
in poor life situations.

Well the broke man says who in their right mind would want to be in a virtual reality
that places them in a poor life. The man tells him, that's the point. People go around
unhappy even tho they are wealthy and/or they have a good life. When they go into
our virtual reality and come out, they are appreciative for what they have and become
happy. Hence 'Empathy Incorporated'.

So the broke man, his ears are really perked up now and he sees how it makes sense.
Absolutely no one has anything like that going. The man tells him, but we can't finish
because we need money.

The broke man goes home and tells his wife he needs one million dollars to invest in
this new venture. His wife begs him not to get the money from her parents because
that is all they have. (the broke man all had already gone to the VR venture and
experienced it for himself). Well he goes against her and talks her dad into giving
him the one million dollars for the VR investment.

I don't want to tell you anything else but it is a must watch movie!

I think it is listed as a 2019 movie. The actors are not anyone that is really famous
or recognizable. There is surprises at every turn. It's a movie that holds you glued
to it.

Well kind of funny, I went to YouTube to see if their videos are still there and they are.

If you look for How to start earning at (the name) and How to cash out at (the name),
you can hear me talking quickly. They created the videos without a voice and they chose
me to add voice to those videos. I think the 'cash out' was funnier because the video
moved along faster.

Are you referring at times to UR? Been online since 2007.

I did a couple of voice overs for their videos.

I normally only order products that are listed as 'Prime'. I don't order food items from Amazon.

It seems like I buy a lot of nothing these days. There's nothing I really need or want except food,
water, jigsaw puzzles, and toilet paper.

The hoarding rush has started again in the USA. Not too bad yet but give it another month or two
in my area and I suspect we'll begin seeing the empty shelves and limits.

I order from Walmart today Toilet Paper, Paper Towels, Tide Pods, Bounce dryer sheets. I did not
need any of it but I am hoarding ahead of time.

Some shelves at Walmart have never gone back to completely fully. Primarily the cleaning supplies
isles. I don't need any of that stuff either but it's strange to see it so empty all year. I don't think
even Mr Clean has shown his face on a shelf since March.

What do you do with all those electronics?

Empathy Inc.

It's on Prime and very different. I enjoyed it and I think it has 4 and half stars.

Yeah one has to do their price comparison. I think some of it has to do where people live
and how much they are ordering. Prices for some items may be higher locally than online
and vice versa. A lot of the stuff sold on Amazon is junk.

Yeah a lot of the series seem to be good the first season but go down hill after that.
They should get better with each season but most don't stand the test of time these days.

I guess the old series that last are the ones common every day people can relate to.

All In The Family. That is still very relatable today, it's always hilarious, it relates to
every day issues people have, certainly has the political tones, etc.

Same goes with 'Roseanne'. I watched the complete series on Prime. I had never
watched it before.

There's a lot of series I never watched that was popular back in the 70's, 80's and 90's.
I was always either in school or working so I did not catch tv series that were always
on during prime hours. I stuck to movies.

Speaking of movies, some times I run across a movie that I am surprised I never saw.
Last night was one of them. On Prime 'Funny Money'. It was hilarious! I thought I had
watched every Chevy Chase movie ever made. It was listed as a 2006 movie. I don't
know how I missed it in 2006 but I did.

I lived through the first record breaking snow in Chicago land. It was the year 1967.
They've had at least one or two that broke the record since. But I remember it well and
it is still very much talked about. We did not have school buses at that time. Kids walked
to school. It was nothing new for us to walk to school, or I should say trudge to school
through the snow. The wind that comes off Lake Michigan, is very bitter and chilling to the
bone is not even the best expression for it...freezing to the bone is more like it.....hence
the Windy City. That winter, it snowed and snowed and snowed and it poured snow. A lot
of my uncles and my father worked in East Chicago and in Chicago. People could not get
home from work. City buses came to a halt. Subway trains came to a halt. It was back
to back pile ups on the Chicago Loop. Vehicles caught fire. Fire trucks and ambulances
could not get out either. The snow as so HIGH that kids could and did get lost in it. Stores
ran out of food and there was limits to what one could buy. Taxi's did not run and to get
to the store, we would trudge thru the huge snow drifts.

What I am saying is Covid has nothing on those of us that have lived through rough times.
It's simple an extension, another phase in life. People have lived through hard times before
and will again. It's the younger generation that at some point discovers nature is not always
easy whether it be snow or virus or some freak occurrence.

the second season was as good.

My sister and I got our flu vaccine last month.

Since every where is so insistent on taking the flu shot, I kind of wonder if they
won't run out of it later. Everyone needs to get it as soon as they can.

I don't know who it is that has the flu and the covid.

I heard it briefly on the news on tv today and I wasn't paying much attention to it
until I heard that. Said first case but I don't think they mentioned names or age.
