Offhand, that's some way to 'add a feeling' this Christmas season *facepalm*

:!: EDIT: Aside from the news link above, Netflix Blog mentions of it as well ( under the click-link "Netflix said in a blog post" -- The Netflix Tech Blog: Netflix Hack Day

Those are articles from Feb of this year. I don't think that would have anything to do
with someone name Brittany setting up a profile in my netflix account. Then again,
who knows, since obviously netflix isn't informing their subscribers of what they are
doing!

During the USA holidays, hackers and cheaters tend to be unchained.

My netflix account was hacked but I tend to check it every day so no biggie.
I canceled the fake profile created by the hacker and changed my password.

This is simply a warning reminder that now thru New Years, you should take
extra precaution. Keep an eye on all your accounts. Change passwords.
Make passwords extra difficult to discovery.

I live in a rural area. What my dog hears, is the vehicle.....the mail man's jeep, UPS truck, FedEx truck.
He has learned the sounds of the vehicles. His barks for these guys, are happy barks. Bo is a little
5 pound maltese. He can hear the vehicle before it turns off the highway onto my road. He will turn
in circles, bark, run to the door, bark, run back to me turn in circles bark bark bark bark bark.....
It gets worse. Once the vehicle stops and the person gets out with packages, he really goes crazy!

I place a lot of orders thru amazon and walmart. Often, I will get him some sort of little dog toy.
He associates the packages with dog toys. :? So now, it's almost a must....I must order a dog
toy if I order anything else.

I think he has me trained.

If I say the words 'mailman' 'fedex' 'ups', my dog barks and runs to the door.
Now of course, he is on high alert every day just waiting for the mail to run so
he can bark....and bark....and bark....and bark.....and I am like.....

First of all Rod, there is more dog images than cat images.

The main reason why they are in agreement to use the pet adoption
images is because the images are always changing as more pets are
listed. This is a great way to prevent cheating as the images are
consistently changing across the net.

Of course, another good reason is that it does promote the adoption
of pets.

In regards to the pet adoption site, that is mostly what they have and
always will have, unfortunately, is cats and dogs for adoption.

As for what dogs can do.......

-Drive it's owner crazy squeaking toys
-Barking needlessly
-Running and hiding on dog bath day
-Eating stuffing from dog toys
-Eating the eyes off dog toys
-Puking up cat litter and other non-edibles
-Constantly wanting it's ears scratched
-Wanting to sleep in the big bed
-......and more....

I love my little Bo Bo Dog! :P

I do the exact same thing leeuna....I will look at the pet images and some times I
see one that attracts my attention so much that I click on it. It's not
that I don't realize it's a dog, I just get caught up in how cute it is and want to see
more of it, forget momentarily what I am doing. I especially tend to look closer at
the 'maltese' dogs since I have one.

Why can't ClixSense display lettuce and tomatoes?

I'd much rather click on salad!

Who can't determine a radish from a head of lettuce?

How bout a carrot for crying outloud!

I think vegetables are being discriminated against!

Survey button turned green » Post #10

Sat Nov 15, 2014 08:29 in General Talk

ha_pi_pi wrote: I find it a bit distracting. It looks like there's a new Survey available, and then it's not LOL
I mean I love Surveys, but I also love Clixgrid and so I don't see why only Surveys button should get a special treatment;-)
Also, it could be green when the Survey page is the one you're currently on. Then if for ex. you go on View Ads, that would turn green. That would also make sense:))
This way, it has no meaning, so it's just weird:)
Were the Surveys so neglected by the members, that Admin choosed to make it shine more?;-))

I guess it's not common sense to everyone and even myself, I could be incorrect.....

I would assume that surveys pay a good amount of cash in regards to the type
of program this is. In other words, IF you win in the ClixGrid, you get a few
cents and perhaps a few dollars....that is IF. In other words, every member is
not going to win in the ClixGrid every day. Add to that fact, advertisers make
a payment and out of that payment to the ClixGrid, money is paid out of
ClixSense pocket. Reality is, ClixSense is making very little money on the
ClixGrid, considering. In regards to surveys, ClixSense isn't paying any funds
out of their own pocket. What ClixSense makes in funds, is only when members
make money completing the surveys....

ClixGrid - Not clear money
PTC Ads - Not clear money

You see they do take money in on advertising but they are also paying money
out of that advertising to cover members earnings on views.

Surveys - 100% profit

They do of course share the revenue and in a big way, in regards to surveys.
You're making a lot more on completing the surveys then what ClixSense does.
They are giving you the majority of the money.

The more money ClixSense makes, the more money you make. It really is true.
The more money ClixSense makes, the more ways they can offer you to make
money. Just like the free daily checklist bonus, as an example.

I'd light up the 'Surveys' too. In fact, I'd probably put Christmas tree lights
around it.

There are web programs that will pay a cent or a fraction of a cent
once per day, when the member logs in.

To put that in proper perspective, you would also need to realize
that cash outs on such programs normally are $20 on upwards.
Also, they normally have stipulations in regards to activity
requirements. Here is a little math for you:

1 year = 365 days @ 1/2 cent per day, would take you 2 years
to make $1.00

I don't understand your question.

You can refer others by giving them your referral link and if
they sign up under you, you will have direct referrals.

I am very depressed » Post #8

Wed Nov 12, 2014 06:35 in General Talk

I'm going to make a last comment here and then I am going to lock this topic.
The reason I am going to lock it is because 'sullybutt' posted a simple sentence
that has now got out of hand in her topic.

Firstly, 'sullybutt' has posted topics on the ClixSense forum before making
statements she is depressed about surveys/ads, or some other such thing.

Secondly, know there is a big difference in a person feeling depressed and
a person with clinical depression.

Thirdly, it is not up to you nor up to me, to diagnose 'sullybutt'. You 'drarkstar2'
and you 'cookin2' are taking this thread way out of context.

Fourth, I have worked in hospitals and health care for many many years. I
worked in a major hospital's mental health ward for over 8 years. I am very
much aware of clinical depression and more.

Fifth, I think you two 'darkstar2' and 'cookin2' should be ashamed of yourself
for making lite of my comment to her. There is nothing inappropriate about
my comment and I said nothing bad or nothing wrong. How rude!

And YES, if you are sad or depressed about something such as a holiday, you
most certainly can shake it off. You can do something else, think of something
else, join a church group, celebrate the holidays with living people, feed the
hungry, go to a movie, etc. Just because someone is sad or momentarily
depressed, does not mean they can't get over that feeling. It also does not
mean they have clinical depression.

Finally, I will say if anyone needs physical or mental help, they should see
their physician.
