My clicks are stuck. Its stuck on 255 clicks but I probably have clicked 300 or so.
I think the dollar amount is moving, however.

My eyeballs would fall out if I clicked a thousand clicks.

papamike51 wrote: Is netflix and Amazon Prime worth the cost? I was also wondering about Hulu+. Thing I worry about is that I enjoy some of the programming on our local channels.

It depends on what you like to watch, Mike.

Netflix is the best. I heard that is going up a dollar or two. In regards to Netflix I have the
streaming ($7.99 per month) and one dvd out at a time blue ray ($9.99 per month). To me
it is worth it. If you like TV series shows, such as 'Walking Dead', 'Longmire', 'Justified', etc
Netflix has these series shows but stay one series behind. To me, it doesn't make any difference
if the program is a series behind, I still get to see it and if I want. Netflix streaming also has
a good variety of documentaries. Netflix has many original series.....that is programs that
they own and no one else has....most of them are not very good, I don't think but there are
several that I really like 'Orange is the New Black' as an example. Most of their movies on
streaming are lowly rated 1 to 3 star movies.....however, they do put some
pretty good movies on streaming just not every day. If you like the old classic movies and
shows....Netflix streaming has a good deal of them.....I am presently watching AndyGriffin
and then I am going to watch TwilightZone and I completed watching several other old
goodies such as the Munsters, some time back. I like watching those old series from episode
one and in order. If you like the new movies that come out, you really do save money by
having at least the 1 dvd out at a time. I just watched 'Bridge of Spies' and if I had paid for
it on pay per view, I'd paid at least $5.99 for that one movie. I average receiving 2 to 3
dvd's per week. I always return them the very next day so I can get another quickly.
They have tons of good movies and shows on dvd.

Amazon.....not so much. What I like mostly about Amazon is for starters, it is only $99 per
year and it's paid at one time for the year. That just seems easier to pay it by the year than
to bother with seeing it on your credit card every month. So $99 a year pans out to $8.25
per month. They don't have dvd service. They are getting better at creating some originals
that they own but thus far, I can't say they are great but you might think so. I do find some
movies and shows on there often that I don't find on Netflix streaming. Another thing of course
is that with Amazon Prime you get free 2 day shipping on anything and everything you order
that is a prime item and most stuff is. You can of course still get free shipping IF your order
totals at least $49.00. That kind of stinks since there are times you might want to order
something that is only $20.00. For example, the other day I ordered a $17.00 bag of dog
food and it was shipped free and I received it in 2 days. There's more...... Amazon Prime
now also offers free cloud storage and unlimited at that! You can upload all your photos
to the cloud and that way you know they are always safe from your computer crashes, etc.
The cloud storage alone could easily cost $5 or more a month. If you like to read you get
some free reading every month and you are aware of specials before the entire customers
are. They do offer a 30 day free trial so that is nice in that you can try it out first.

DISH....with dish, I usually have their America's 200 pack. I recently canceled it because
altho there was channels I still like to watch it just isn't worth it since most the channels,
I didn't watch. Even some of the channels I liked to watch, I seldom watched them. With
the package I have now, I cut my bill in half and I still get all the network channels including
fox, fox news, cnn, hln, weather channel, ID, diy, and a lot more.

I have a few Smart tv's. I also have Roku and Apple tv box's. Out of all that, the best is
Roku. They have tons of channels, tons of free channels, altho many of the free channels
have commercials.

Oh and in case you did not know, you can always get your local channels, even if you cut
your cable. Did you not know that?

Do u support raising mininum wage 15dollar an hour » Post #5

Sat Apr 09, 2016 08:19 in General Talk

In some states it might make sense but here is the problem and it has always been
the problem....

When the minimum wage rises, employees look for ways to cut back on employment.
Even owners of small businesses often let some of their workers go and elect to do
the work themselves or even bring in more of their family members to help out.

To make matters even worse, many things if not everything rises in cost. The
small business guy that sells a horseshoe for $5 now must sell it for $8. A hamburger
joint that sells a burger for $2.50 now must sell it for $4.00.

That's just one very small real example of what happens.

Raising the minimum wage is not how you put more money in peoples pockets.
That's like when I was a kid and I'd take the empty RC soda bottles to the store
and get $0.02 per bottle.....then I would buy $0.01 candy......and I'd buy $0.05
candy bars. Then one day the minimum wage increased and I took my RC empty
bottles to the store and I still received the $0.02 per bottle but there wasn't any
1 cent had all increased to 3 cent and the 5 cent candy bars went up...
doubled in price from a nickel to ten cents.

That's the way slick government often works......lets fool the people.....lets give
em what they think they want.....ha ha ha ha ha!

I don't have cable. I have DISH and it seems every time I turn around, they raise the
price $5 and blame it on the government. I was paying over $103.00 a month and I
took the plunge and changed my package to the 'Smart Pack" and now pay $55.00 a

Some times I think about canceling DISH altogether. I have Netflix and Amazon Prime.

Living in a rural area, I don't have any complaints about the services I have here as
the receptions are excellent. Rarely do I have a problem.....even in storms.

What I would really love to cancel is my landline. I hate paying $75.00 a month for
my telephone when I don't even use it. However, I have DSL and if I don't have the
landline, I don't have DSL. AND.....the reason I am even fortunate to have DSL out
here in no wheresville is due to a small high school a mile out down the road.

How people get so many direct referrals » Post #2

Fri Apr 08, 2016 12:34 in General Talk

I know members tend to get stuck on numbers but in reality, it's not about the numbers.

Numbers don't work and numbers don't help you earn.

Activity is where the money is.

I suppose numbers may be a form of motivation.

Some people that enroll large numbers may own a list or several list of subscribers to
their newsletter or a program they own, etc.

It's against the rules to purchase referrals as that is mostly junk but still, there are members
that go against the rules and do it. They risk having their membership canceled here because
all they are doing is clogging up the program with inactives/junk.

There are members that may spend money to advertise for referrals. There is no shortage
in advertising, paid or free.

Do you smell phantom smoke? » Post #17

@sp1915 Yes, I am considering the bottom denture that screws in. I haven't taken the time out
to research it enough or to talk to the dentist that does that, but I plan to.

@Micshad I started smoking when I was ten years old. I suppose I was about 16 years old when
I started smoking more on a regular basis. I married at 17 so at that time, I was probably smoking
about a pack per day. There were a few times I had quit over the years such as during pregnancy.
I quit a very long time ago, around the time they first introduced the prescription patches. I worked
in a hospital and I knew most the doctors so even tho it was great insurance, I received everything
free anyway, even my prescriptions. I was very dedicated to quiting and the patches did help as I
probably wouldn't have been able to without them.

Yes, dental issues can cause a lot of things to go awry in your body. Heart problems and even these
phantom ghost smells of smoke. I smell it right now. YES, it could of course be something else, not
my teeth that are causing this annoying aroma. It could be totally sinus related. They say that polyps
in the nasal cavity causes phantom smoke aroma too. Brain cancer is a biggie as often people with
brain tumors report smelling strong smoke.

Just to look at my teeth casually, you wouldn't notice anything wrong with them. Some people when
they smile, their gums show. My gums do not show. My point is gingivitis is taking over and some
of the teeth are beginning to elongate from the gums. It's just not noticeable unless you pry my
mouth wide open and pull down on my gums.

@Susy_A No, I don't have dental insurance and I will just pay for it 50/50 or whatever their
terms are for pay half now half afterward. By the time I decide what type of teeth to get, I will
have probably already paid for all the extraction on the bottom. I'm not too concerned at the
moment in regards to the top, I think those will last mostly for a few more years.

I would think implanted teeth ..... tooth by tooth, would be very expensive. I remember my
friend way back in high school one summer she was life guarding at a resort beach during the
summer break. She missed a rail climbing up to the lifeguard stand and hit her top teeth. She
had a couple of teeth replaced and they were CEMENTED in. I thought that so odd when she
told me they had cemented in a couple of teeth. That was way back in the 70's.

Yeah, I always had very nice looking teeth and I am looking forward to some BRIGHT WHITE
new teeth. grandmother could never wear her teeth to eat. She would take them out when we
would go out to eat. One time she left them on the table and fortunately the waiter did see
them wrapped in the napkin and did not throw them away.

sp1915 wrote: Are root canals/crowns an option for you Valerie? I wondered myself at what point do you throw in the towel and just get dentures. I have 5 front teeth on the lower with one back tooth. I wear a partial denture and now one of those in the front needs a root canal/crown.

No I won't go that route. I am throwing in the towel.

My local dentist strongly suggested I go with a partial for the bottom.
Over a year ago, he quoted a price of just over $1,000 to remove all the bottom teeth except for the
two vampire teeth and a couple of others. I decided not to go that route and glad I didn't because
now in reality, all of them on bottom need to go except the two vampire teeth....and I don't see any
point in keeping those either. (that price included the partial)

I'm considering bottom dentures that screw into the gum line. I think they place about 3 to 6 screws.
That way, you never remove the denture and brush them as you would normal teeth. I haven't visited
that dentist yet to see what he says.

In the mean time, I have simply been going to the dentist every few months and having him pull one
out that is becoming bothersome enough to do so.

They say that a bottom denture just flops around in your mouth and people always strongly suggest
to go another route....such as a partial. I don't want to spend money on a partial and then a year or
two later, have those teeth removed and pay money for a new partial. I know there are some partials
in which teeth can be added to them.....more expensive I suppose.

I am out about $115.00 every time I go to my local dentist for a tooth extraction and X-ray. He
is X-ray happy. $95 to pull the tooth and $20 for the X-ray.

Yes, I think it is a strong possibility it could be dental related. For starters, the time frame in
which I started smelling smoke. It started approximately two years ago and that is about the
same time frame I started having dental issues. Most of the teeth I have had extracted, has
been over the course of the last few years and especially the last two years.

Valerie's ClixSense News Corner - April » Post #3

Wed Apr 06, 2016 22:14 in General Talk

@marycil_posa it is frustrating when you spend your time either attempting surveys or offers
and they don't credit. As long as I can remember, it has always been that way. It's not the
fault of ClixSense or any other GPT program out there. The problem is mostly with tracking
and cheating. The cheating works both ways. The survey companies have gone way out there
to make tracking links cheat proof and the result is that tracking can some times get lost a long
the way. The flip side is that advertisers that pay those companies to conduct surveys, will
some times cheat resulting in not getting credit. People along the way have not made it a
smooth ride either in that many people across the globe try and have cheated survey programs.
People cheat by doing the same surveys/offers in multiple GPT programs. This is also why
reversals are more prominent today. The survey/offer companies want legitimate people to
answer their survey/offer honestly in what they deem a normal time frame.

Forget the word 'fair' because I have found not much to be 'fair' in this world. It's simply a
matter of what you want and if you are focused on getting where you want to be.

In the free to earn world, you will always have referrals that don't stick it out. The reason
being is simple. They don't want to work or they don't have time to work. Since the program
is free, they have nothing to lose by joining.

It really has very little if anything in regards to taking a week or two to be paid. You can
look at very large programs online that have huge databases of members and pay only
once a month or longer. There is nothing unreasonable about being paid every few days
or every week or every two weeks or every month. Most all the jobs I have had offline
paid every two weeks or once a month. I've even had to wait a month behind in offline
jobs before, making it two months before my first pay check. Everyone can view the
forum and see members get paid. In addition, ClixSense has been online and paying for
almost TEN YEARS.

I've focused on 'time' and 'organization' for many years online. When it comes to the www,
time can go by mighty fast. I understand that a 40 minute survey that doesn't credit, is
certainly a waste of time.....but, what else did you do during that 40 minute survey? THAT
is the key to NOT wasting your time.

dutch1898 wrote: Re: phantom smoke: Could it be from having smoked before and it repeating itself years after you have quit? :x

I wondered about that but no, that is not it.

The best information I have read is that it can be due to several different things.
I came across this page in the UK one day and it made the most sense:
Phantosmia (smelling odours that aren't there) - NHS Choices

It was interesting to see on that UK page it listed 'dental'. I've been having issues
with my teeth the last couple of years and I am thinking this might in fact be a
nerve thing resulting from my teeth to my nasal passages.

I have ten teeth left on the bottom of my mouth. All my back teeth are gone.
Out of the ten teeth on the bottom of my mouth, at this very moment, 4 need to
be extracted. I have nine teeth on the top of my mouth....all back teeth gone...
out of the ones on the top, at least 2 need extracted.

So, I've been trying to decide what action I want to take. False teeth, screw
in plates, etc etc etc.

I guess once all my teeth are gone, I'll know if it was my teeth or not, causing me
to smell smoke. It's a very weird thing.
