Terrible Question for 2019......tasman1 » Post #2

Mon Dec 30, 2019 07:21 in General Talk

You would only get one meal because it is very hot on island and no way to keep him frozen.

Of course, since you're on an island, there is plenty of food in the ocean. You wouldn't starve.

You might die of thirst if there is no coconuts, no streams of fresh water. In that case, death
will be rather swift.

I know what is going on and I do not believe as you do, Darkstar2.

I already stated my belief and no point in my typing it again.

Your topic reminds reminds me of the Rajneesh cult.

Like I said, religion is often used as an excuse and I do believe that 100%.

People are suckered in to believing a war is being fought for this and that.
Reality is, the powers that be, simply want more power and more money.
That is all it amounts to.

I am not a democrat.

I'll chime in.

I know there are many wars and seemingly at first appearance it is religion.
In reality, it is NOT religion.

Religion is often the outward appearance.

If religion did not exist, there would be MORE wars.

What do people REALLY fight over? Religion? NO.

Money and Power. I'd even go so far as to rank POWER number 1.

People are going to fight over land, borders, food, oil, technology, skin color,
and anything in this entire world that you can think of. In reality, religion plays
a major role in morality but not in war.

So when you hear that most wars are fought over religion, do a little more of
your own research. You'll find that those wars would have fought anyway, even
if everyone was of the same faith.

About question asked in survey » Post #6

Sat Dec 28, 2019 11:36 in General Talk

I was a YES for Agriculture.

I had a few hundred acres for cotton, corn/soy beans. So I was ask that question a lot and
surveys were geared at many different things in regards to agriculture. For example did I
sell farming equipment? What crops did I grow? Did I have pasture land? Did I rotate crops?
Did I accept government funding not to grow crops? Questions about seed, Monsanto, fertilizer,
air spraying, irrigation, and so on.

Funny thing is, I still tend to get surveys that believe I still do farming. I don't. Sold the land
almost two years ago. Those surveys did pay well, at that time.

Some people work in Agriculture. Everything from growing food and cotton to
farm machinery, fertilizers, seeds, irrigation systems, and more.

Agriculture makes the world go round.

Leather is Leather - Trickery in Advertising » Post #3

No. It is dog food and cat food.

There is no such thing as vegan leather and no such thing as faux leather. There is only leather.

If a product is not leather, it should be stated what it is.

That's the point I am making.

I think consumers need to stop allowing companies to get away with using words in
the advertising, marketing, and packaging that is NOT true.

I do believe they are cracking down on this but no where near enough.

The 'leather' words are so very annoying. I notice this has gone from simplistic to
alarming over the more recent years. Many items will be advertised as leather but
they are not. Now to protect their money and name, they use words like 'vegan' as
in 'vegan leather'. WHAT? Yes and to me that is still false advertising.

If I want a non-leather item, it needs to state exactly what it is.

A made up combo of words by adverts: Vegan Leather

Reality is, there is NO such thing as 'vegan leather'.

Well, if you don't have balls you are not capable of getting a woman pregnant.

I'm not saying the removal of the sacred scrotum will eliminate rape completely but
I saying it will definitely reduce the rape crime rate, not to mention, unwanted pregnancies
due to rape.

Chop their balls off after the ones are caught and I betcha the rape violence will reduce dramatically.

One thing I don't understand is women that jog alone through parks, trails, etc.

That goes for even the wilderness trails. Rape is not the only danger.

Well you cannot force people to come out of their closet and seek help.

Ask a woman that has been raped if she wished she had prevention clothing.

'm back and you never knew I was gone. lol

A point I wanted to make or I should say, mention is in regards to outside the USA.

For years manufacturers moved outside the USA to countries such as China in which they
could get cheap work.

So what would be stopping Prodege to move to China or any number of other countries?

In fact, as of now, this is based on California. What if they moved to Florida?

You've been saying GPT is dead, for as long as I can recall. GPT is not dead. It is still alive.

Could it die tomorrow? Yes, so could all of us. But as the old saying goes, never put all your
eggs in one basket.

The end of online earnings thanks to a new law ! » Post #3

Sun Dec 22, 2019 08:37 in General Talk

Looks like the primary concern is with large companies such as uber and other ride
share and food delivery services. In this regard, it is understandable but still a bit
iffy.

For example, I have a friend that is a nuclear engineer. He contracts jobs and travels
every so many years. In other word he may work at a nuclear plant a year or several
years. He is getting paid a salary. A very high salary. He does pay for his insurance,
etc. For him, paying for things like insurance, is a drop in the bucket since he receives
very high salary. So what I am saying is, he is a real example of a real contractor.

GPT was never meant as a contractor program. As a contractor, you are in fact liable
for the contract you agree to. In GPT we are not in contract. We're not forced to do
anything. That goes for surveys and tasks.

GPT is an agreement, not a contract. Yes, there is a difference. We agree to do a
survey and/or task/offer, for the stated amount or we simply close it out and not
do it.

In a contract, you can be taken to court and sued. You are liable for what you
contracted to do.

So I suspect some of the above I stated, is where the grounds land.

The issue these days as you Darkstar2 have made very clear, you are relying on GPT
as a 100% source of income. GPT was never intended as a 100% source of income.
It was meant as extra money in one's spare time.

The same thing has happen with McDonalds and other fast food joints. With those
the complaints by workers is higher wages. But these fast food joints was never
intended for life wages. Just like car hops working for tips in the old days.

Well, I gotta run out for a bit. Interesting topic.
