What did you do this week? » Post #1

Sun May 19, 2019 10:34 in General Talk

I really enjoy hearing about others life style. No matter how much money you have,
life is too short to enjoy all the world and all the people within it.

What did you do this week?

This is what I did:

1. One day I had a doctors appointment. It was the first time my going to my new primary
care physician. This is because I moved from one State to another State. Some new prescriptions.
Several other doctor appointments made.

2. Washed and waxed my suv. No, I don't take it to auto car washes. I wash it myself and it had not
been washed in many months. It's sparkling now. haha!

3. Went to Walmart a couple of times this past week. I had to take a gallon of paint back that I
did not need.

4. Mowed the yard. I use a reel mower. It's a good work out but not difficult. The weather is
hot now and I start sweating within 5 minutes of mowing. I try to mow early in the morning before
it gets so extremely hot.

5. I painted my deck. It was red and I painted it gray. It took me all day and I do mean all day.
It sure looks a lot nicer tho.

6. Bo was 6 yesterday. I bought him a little stuffed lion. He chewed it's eyeballs out and some
of the lions mane is all over the living room floor. Bo is a Maltese that weighs about 7 or 8 pounds.

7. Bought some squash from a man selling veggies. I bought some zucchini to make zucchini
bread. I could have bought it cheaper in the store.

8. Watched tv as usual at night. Work on jigsaw puzzles while I watch tv. Watched some old
episodes of Little House On The Prairie. Watched some stupid movies. Wanting to watch the
movie 'The Professor and The Madman' that is listed for rent on Amazon. That might be something
for this coming week.

9. Tuesday is trash pick up day. Every Tuesday I open the door so Bo can stand at the full
length glass storm door and bark at the Trash Truck and the men that pick it up.

Don't take it to heart. It's a forum with many different personalities and none us
are perfect.

I see your posts and overall you are positive and have posted many very helpful
topics. You're a great contributor and I would say a great asset to this forum.

Lately, your posts have been almost one after the other, complaints. I do very
much understand your frustration. I've read some foul language in your posts,
of late. I've read some of your posts where you are downright angry.

What I call negativity is when a member continuously post negativity.
Members begin seeing one as a negative contributor that only complains. There
is nothing wrong with sharing what happen when you did a survey, etc.

Moderators get frustrated but none of the moderators should be calling names
and such. Moderators are simply members that volunteer at these forums. That's
it. We have not been knighted by the king or anything. We have not gone to
'moderator' school. So all of us moderators need to realize the same, that we
should be respectful to members and focus on helping new and old members alike.
Even if a moderator feels they don't like a poster here, we still should maintain our
respect for that member. And you know what, respect comes from inside and if
one does not respect another, that really does say something about ourselves.

So bottom line, do what you just said in your post. I know many of us really do
enjoy reading your knowledgable posts and topics.

That may very well be the point.....when you are positing positive information, it is helping members.

When you post negative information, is that helping members?

Some times there are 'trouble makers' on an active forum. It almost wouldn't make sense if there
wasn't a few to come along now and then. Some people get a big laugh out of it. Some are nothing
more than children getting a kick out of stirring up trouble. It happens.

We're all human and we can get very aggravated at times with this stuff, especially when we are
booted from surveys or something else. Seems members tend to complain more when things are
not good for them then they do when things are going great.

Well, I started to say 18250.00 U.S dollars is not a hack of a whole lot in terms of
house, car, retirement, etc.

I guess you mean $182,500.00. One hundred eighty two thousand five hundred.

With the exception of the rich and famous well to do areas in the USA, I'd say you
can buy a decent house for that price. Just depends on the area, city, location, etc.

The housing market right now is a sellers market. Prices are high. So if you ever
go to buy a house in the USA, make sure you contact more than one realtor association
and find out if it is a sellers market or a buyers market. You want a buyers market...
if you're buying.

That's just up to you. Some use their own blogs. Some purchase advertising at
various sites. Some may purchase google advertising. Some give their url to their
family and friends. Some programs offer advertising for free to little, such as
traffic exchanges.

Hi. i am very new here. Iam enjoying this site and the way its opening up to me. I still have a few questions though. If you could help me out with a response, would be highly appreciative. Which would be the best payout option to sign in? How do I add affiliate members?

Instead of posting here, the first thing to do is read. Read the forum rules. Stop asking
members to contact you, its against the rules. So go up to the near top and read the
forum rules.

Inside your ClixSense profile, you may choose the option for payout. You can go to those
payment websites and read about them. There is also the International sub forums here
in which you may locate members that are in the same country as you....and you may
read what payout options they prefer.

You cannot make an affiliate. An affiliate is simply a person that you have given your
referral url to.

I think it was minecraft that I tried once. Everything was blocks and you was
to create stuff. So I managed to dig a hole. The hole continued to get deeper.
No matter what I did, I couldn't get out of it.

I quit the game and never played it again.

I've got an Xbox One but I rarely use it for games. I use it more for watching movies/dvd's.

I like some of the puzzle games. I still have some. Primarily 'Tetris'.

lucky35 wrote: Someone mentioned you can use Clixsense when travelling but that is not true. When I go to the US for a month I cannot do anything on Clixsense. I live in Canada. You can on other sites. I don't know why you cannot use the site when away. People have laptops so they can take them with them on vacation and do work on various sites if they wish. I wish you could with Clixsense. This is the best site I have ever been on and have made the most money here.

You shouldn't say it isn't true. You are not other people. I am not saying that to be rude.
I often read posts in which some members call other members liars simply because one
sees something differently than another. So just because you can't access CS when you
travel, does not mean others can't.

ClixSense is not configured for mobile per se. When I say that ClixSense is not configured
for mobile, I mean that in more ways than one. For example, some computers, laptops, and
mobile phones can absolutely operated differently than what CS is configured for. In addition,
all those devices may have varying operating systems. There is also something known as
location which may or may not be included in the price of mobile service. Even within one's
own country, they may or may not be able to access CS with mobile dependent upon their service.
There's a lot that goes into it when discussing mobile.

What you may need to do is contact CS when you know you are going to ..... say the USA for
a couple of weeks. They can then update your profile. Of course if you are going to be gone
for only a day or two, not sure that it would be worth it for your profile to be updated.

Here is the FAQ on that:

Can I access my account from different locations?
Yes. We do not mind if you access your account from home, work, the Library, friends house, internet cafe etc. Accessing your account from a different IP address does not put your account in any danger of being closed or suspended. But, if you access your account from an IP outside your profile country then this will limit your access to ClixSense.

You may not share your PC with any other ClixSense member. If our system detects this activity we lock both accounts.

Personally, I think if a person is working GPT for their entire day, making $10 a day,
they are doing mighty good. There are people doing that and then some.

Making $100, $200, $300 or more a month in GPT, is mighty good and I think it is
rather healthy, to say the least.

CC I think closed their doors the other day. They were legit and long running.

TT is very long running and their doors is still open. They are longer running than
ClixSense! TT came online in 2005.

IBD has been online a very long time and I guess their partner site too. I am no
longer a member of it. Seems they booted me out years ago for inactivity.

SB I use primarily for cash back shopping.

There's a lot of GPT programs that don't charge anything and some may have an
upgrade option in order to earn a higher percentage.

There are programs like DM that has been online many years and as far as I know
they still have several upgrade options.

What's that gal's name that has a popular GPT program? I have never joined her
program but always meant to. She is legit and her GPT program is rather long lived.

There is a hoard of newer GPT programs and Cash Back Shopping sites too.

You know, whether you spend your entire day doing this stuff or not, is up to you.
Nothing to be ashamed of if you do. Plenty of people do not have an outside job
and don't run around every day. GPT does offer people a way to make some extra
money without paying money to do so.

Of course, we all know the bad part of it right now. Hopefully that will change for the
better in the near future. I really don't see how things can keep going south without
an explosion.

Well, I always liked this definition of a 'job':

A job, or occupation, is a person's role in society.

So for me, no, I don't look at ClixSense as a job. I don't look at GPT as my role in
society. I look at ClixSense as a place online I joined early back in 2007 to earn
extra money as a 'work at home' individual. I look at ClixSense as a legitimate,
long running, free to earn opportunity. I see ClixSense as program I can log into
and focus on making some extra money when I want to and if I don't want to, I
don't. I don't see ClixSense as a job. I don't see ClixSense as a place of employment.
I don't see any GPT site as a place of employment nor as my role in society (Of
course, the tax man may see it differently  ).

You did not say anything about India.

Again and for the last time, you said ClixSense was the ONLY free to earn program.
That is absolutely not true. I'm not speaking in regards to any specific country and
you did not either.

ClixSense has been online many years and there is very credible programs out there that
are free. That is not what you said, however. You said there was not free to earn programs
out there and that ClixSense is the only one. That is not true. There are some very long
running GPT programs that are legit and free, not just ClixSense.

@ Arvind9 I don't think there is one answer to that question for everyone. In other words, it
is personal to the individual and their beliefs.

I believe my purpose here is not just a short visit but to have some bit of good impact on others.
Some times I look at my little 7 pound dog and think 'what would become of him had it not been
for me?'. I look at my three children and know that I did at least one thing correct in my life. Just
last month I became a Great Grandmother and wow, I have created humans and grand humans and
great grand humans! :D I worked in health care many years and I know I did some bit of good in
those years. We all touch other peoples lives and more often we do so in ways that we don't even
realize.

We can't get into politics and religion in this forum but I will just say, I believe I am here because
the man upstairs wanted me here and He has his reasons which my small mind would probably
not be capable of fully understanding.

For example, go back 100 years ago. Or just go back 60 years ago. Many people would have
have never believe a mobile phone could exist nor an internet nor a way to actually see and talk
to someone over a phone nor see someone and talk to someone thousands of miles away. Many
if not most could never dream of electric cars, not even an electric or battery operated lawn mower.

We're just too small minded to comprehend the full answer to that question.

Just for the record, there are many sites that do not charge anything to make extra money.
Plenty of free to earn survey and offers programs out there.
