I'll tell you how old I am.

I am so old I got a spanking when I was a kid from dropping a plastic pearl in the green Prell shampoo bottle.

I am so old I remember Hamms sparkling beer commercial.

I am so old Im still trying to come up to Marlboro country.

I am so old that when I get a headache, it's like two goats butting heads.

I am so old I remember buying 'Jays' potato chips for $0.05 a snack size bag in school.

I am so old I remember McDonalds long long long before they had drive up windows.

I am so old I remember trading in my A&P stamps for merchandise.

I am so old I remember the famous attraction at the Chicago Museum of Science and Industry:
talking to your friend on a phone and seeing your friend on a fuzzy tv screen.

Bob is 7 years older than I. He's an old carpenter by trade and doesn't know much about the
computer nor internet nor Facebook, not any of that.

I taught Bob how to use yahoo email, some years ago. He still gets confused about it.

When Bob receives spam, he gets excited. It depends on the message he receives in
regards to his level of excitement. You really wouldn't want to hear any of his excitement.
I have to cover my ears while I laugh my you know what off.

The other day he received a phone call on his cell that was similar to the all too famous
Nigerian email scam. He played along with it and I kept telling him to hang up. Finally
he told the guy he would send him a check for $50,000 in exchange for the 60 million
as soon as he finished wiping the bullshxt off his axx. Then he hung up.

Thats Bob.

Don't feel bad, you're not alone.

Last year I paid my monthly trash bill that is $18.00.
At the same time I paid my monthly electric bill.
Same as you, online bill pay.

I paid the correct amounts but incorrect order.
The trash company was a bit tickled by it. It was a few weeks before I received it back.
They have to go thru the county clerk treasure or some such.

Must be something to do with being young. :P

The longer the timer on your ad, the more beneficial because viewers must
view the ad longer.

There is also the ClixGrid advertising.

ClixSense has been online for over 7 years.

What I am saying is, obviously advertisers get good results.

However, it depends on what you are advertising.

Not sure what you mean by 'what ads did you use'? I don't understand that question
because you would use your ads.

How to get Direct referrals for free? » Post #2

Fri Dec 12, 2014 11:54 in General Talk

If you want to do free advertising there are plenty of ways to do so.

You might want to try some offline free advertising. I suggest getting
a free short redirect url such as tiny url dot com. You can place it on

There are some free hosting accounts online that might help in regards
to directing people to your ClixSense website.

There is also plenty of free classified ad sites online.

I have a sticky topic posted that relays various ways to advertise for free
and its located in the general discussions forum category:

Where Can I find active referrals? » Post #2

Thu Dec 11, 2014 10:24 in General Talk

There is no tricks to gaining referrals and no has a crystal ball to tell you if
the referral will be active or not.

All you can do is work to tell others about ClixSense, advertise if you wish.

I strongly suggest thinking out of the box. Think about places that people
go that probably need extra money and wouldn't mind doing simple tasks
to earn it. Think about people offline too. When advertising offline, be sure
to go to a free redirect service such as tiny url or some such as that to get
a free short redirect url. That way, people won't cut off your referral link
and you're sure to get the referral.

It sounds like an error with the traffic exchange.

The best thing to do would be to contact that traffic exchange and tell them
the error message you are receiving.

As long as your friend doesn't care, you could send it to their paypal account.

You can submit a support ticket thru the helpdesk to ask admins for confirmation.

Offhand, that's some way to 'add a feeling' this Christmas season *facepalm*

:!: EDIT: Aside from the news link above, Netflix Blog mentions of it as well ( under the click-link "Netflix said in a blog post" -- The Netflix Tech Blog: Netflix Hack Day

Those are articles from Feb of this year. I don't think that would have anything to do
with someone name Brittany setting up a profile in my netflix account. Then again,
who knows, since obviously netflix isn't informing their subscribers of what they are
doing!

During the USA holidays, hackers and cheaters tend to be unchained.

My netflix account was hacked but I tend to check it every day so no biggie.
I canceled the fake profile created by the hacker and changed my password.

This is simply a warning reminder that now thru New Years, you should take
extra precaution. Keep an eye on all your accounts. Change passwords.
Make passwords extra difficult to discovery.
