I'm very jealous of your azaleas that bloom sometimes in the the winter. That would never happen here!

I have some dark pink azalea bushes at the front of the house on either side of the porch.
Today, they still had some blooms on them. They do start looking a little funky by Jan.

I planted several white azalea bushes this Fall. Most of those are small and do not have blooms.
Got a good deal on them at Lowe's end of season clearance so couldn't resist.

A question Valerie, do you live of your internet income only?

Sort of.

I think I remember some of those. Killer Gorilla and Everyone's A Wally.

I like some of the 'Mario' games but I am not into those much.

One of my fav's is Tetris.

Zelda, I can spend hours playing those games and never complete the adventures.
One time I went online and did a search because I had zelda stuck some where. I
was surprised to find an entire website dedicated to it with all the images, what to
do, etc. I did get Zelda out of that situation but I did not continue to view the site
or follow their info.

The few Zelda games I have, can keep me going forever. I doubt I will ever get
through any of them unless I do cheat by viewing websites that relay every step.

You shouldn't let it get to you. Most is just laughable stuff. Other stuff, well you know that old saying,
don't you? Takes one to know one.

have you ever been, or ever considered being, a licensed animal/wildlife rehabilitator?

I watched a couple seasons of the show 'Bandit Patrol', and was mighty impressed with the work they do.

BOY, those people work constantly, and they sure have their hands full most of the time, as there are so many needing help, and limited care-giving facilities are available.

Looks very rewarding, but I know I'd be a basket case every time even ONE couldn't be saved...

There is land on each side of my land. On one side is farm land, no sale. The other side WAS for sale and
I did strongly consider it. It's about 15 acres or so and mostly clear. I have 8 acres. I considered buying the
15 acres and building a sanctuary for small dogs. The small dogs have been growing in popularity and even so,
unfortunately the puppy mills have too. That is why I detest breeders. There are many old and abused little
dogs that people do not want either because they are old, disabled, or some other reason. People tend to want
perfect pets. So I did consider buying the other property next to mine, building a nice building with a very
large fenced area. I would allow them to be adopted out but for the most part, it would be a place for the
ones no one wants.

It was just a thought and I think If I was younger and the thought, I would have done it.

Ya, I am rather sure a hot mess is when you boil beans until they scorch and you feed them to
your family anyway and your family is hungry so they take a big bite and it burns their tongue
and it tastes horrible because it is scorched and they say THAT'S A HOT MESS! That's what that

A COLD MESS would be when you eat ice cream real fast because you're really hungry and so you
drip ice cream all over your face and clothes and stuff.

I have an older hand held nintendo .... well, it's not that old but techno wise I guess it would be
considered old. One of my daughters laughed at me when I bought it several years ago...she said
'Why?' and my reply was 'I love the Zelda games'. It's been awhile since I have played it and I have
never ever been able to complete a Zelda adventure.

I knew about 'Zelda' because years before some of you were even born, I had a computer that
was huge and clunky that did not connect to an internet. There was a game called 'Zelda' and
it was like these new Zelda games. I am telling you it was back about 1990. So I believe ole
Zelda has been around a long time.

I purchased the new nintendo 3DS XL and it said the older games would work in not from
the 1990's but from the more recent DS games. I did also order one new Majora's Mask Zelda game.

I do also enjoy the puzzle games. I probably wouldn't have bought it had it not stated it will play the
older games too.

My kids kind of laugh at me because I guess it is more of kids games but I don't like those war games
or zombie games.

I hate some of the actions that go along with words.

I hate when people take their hands up and do the little finger thing when they say 'quote'.

I hate when people take their hand and make a phone by their ear and mouth the words 'call me'.

Ya, it makes you want to be mean......

What ya mean on your radar, who gives a flying about your radar, who ya think ya are, a gps,
ya got an antennae coming out of your A?

I don't think I have issues with the food items being stale when shipped thru walmart but the
packaging is a nightmare.

They seem to use whatever box is closest to their hand. I've received a can of coffee in a box
large enough for a bike with ten tons of brown paper wadded and wadded and waddy wadded.

I have also received items in small box's that should have been in large box's.

Then there is the 'tape' that is SOME TIMES over lids and some times NOT.

It is so lovely to receive can goods, like can salmon, dented in like a deflated balloon.

Nothing more wonderful then having cans on top of the cookies. I just love drinking cookies.

Oh the joy of receiving packages from Walmart. The packers must really love their job.

I watched a new good British movie last night. I really liked it.
Well, I don't know if it was a British movie but the actors appeared to be.

It was a bit of a tear jerker, starts out a little slow and you are wondering if there is going to be
any point to the movie at all.

I give it 5 out of 5 stars. I thought its excellent, actually. I loved that it was a real plot.

If you like a good clean movie with excellent acting and a plot that keeps you immersed,
you'll like it.

It's the problem with the whole entire world. Nit picking. Nit Nit Nit Nit Nit

Everyone needs to lighten up across the globe. Everyone pretends to be so smart. In reality, we
are own demise. Why? Because we are all stupid. Stupid stupid stupid stupid. We have about
as much place in this world as a grain of sand and not much more sense.

I would say I love most all animals.

I'm not fond of snakes or buzzards. I am far from thrilled with the moles too.....very aggravating creatures.

I've watched youtube videos of people that have squirrels as pets. It's a bad idea. They sure are
cute and my gosh, loads of fun to watch. I had no idea they were so playful. They do bite and it
does hurt! If you let them run free in your home, you would most probable have pee and poop every
where. If you leave them in a cage, you would need one that is extremely huge and even then, it
would be cruel. Squirrels need lots of room. They will climb way up to the tops of the highest trees,
build nests and such. Having a squirrel live it's life in a cage would be very cruel.

Miss Foxy
Actually there are two red fox's that love to steal stuff. Some of the raccoons do too but the two fox's are something else.

By the way, Miss Red and Mr Grey were survivors from a storm. Their nest was blown out of
one of my trees and I heard weird noises outside. Went out and there was these two little tiny
baby squirrels circling the tree but not even going back up the tree. I actually made a sling and
put them in the sling, got the ladder and hung them as high up in the tree as I could. I thought
mom might come back to get them. Over a day passed and they were still huddled in the sling.

I took them back inside in a cardboard box. I went to the vet and bought cans of milk....I think
it was kitten milk and some little tiny bottles. I ordered one of the cages and as they grew, I ordered
another cage.....turned it upside down and connected them so they would have height to climb.
I made a sling inside that they would play on and some times fall asleep on. There was also a
small home made box inside with a hole all the way through so they could go inside for darkness
and to sleep.

In the mornings I would say BREAKFAST and they both would come running to the front of the
cage for the bottle. I would hold the bottle up thru the bars of the cage to feed them. When
they got full, they would simply stop and run to play.

They are very fun to watch. Very playful. They chase each other and do all kinds of acrobats.

As they grew and could eat solids, I gave them raw peanuts and a walnut every so often...not
good to give them many fatty nuts like walnuts and pecans. I have tons of hickory trees and
the hickory nuts are every where so I would collect a few of those and give to them too.

As they grew, I would take them with their entire cage, outside on a dolly. I would sit them in
the woods so they could here the sounds.

Finally, one day Miss Red came to the bars of the cage and hollered WAAAAAAAA.....WAAAAAA....
WAWAWAWAAAAAA. She seemed surprised by her own extremely loud sound. I knew then it
was time for them to go.

That was a few years ago. Their cage is attached way up in a tree outside with roofing material
around it for protection. No, I don't think they live there any more but they did for awhile.
