Do you think entertainers are overpaid?? » Post #4

Tue Dec 15, 2015 00:56 in General Talk

Depends on the entertainer and what type of entertainer they are.

As 'oberder' states, monies can be spread in a lot of different directions.

Look at the 'Rolling Stones' for example. Probably one major reason why
they have been so successful and have made a ton of money, is due to
Jagger. At least, so it's been said many times. Jagger has a business
mind and has handled the groups business affairs which in turn, has
resulted in more money in their own pockets.

An actor that I find to be unique recently is 'Eric Roberts'. He was a
high paid actor early in his career and was much sought after. By the
way, he is the brother of Julia Roberts. I have noticed over the past
several years that he acts in all kinds of movies, constantly....does not
matter how bad they are. One day out of curiosity I googled him and
he stated he is having the time of his life. He may already be near the
top if not at the top of acting in more movies then anyone else. So, he
may not be a high paid actor any more but he is acting in whatever he
wants to and probably making a small fortune doing so.

I think its Nicholas Cage that blows his money......or so they have said
in the past that he would blow every dime he made.

Look at old Burt Reynolds. He was a high paying actor that got burnt
by his that she took him to the cleaners with divorce.

There was two sisters I knew very well years ago when I worked in
home health. They never married. Grew up in the same house they
were born in. Both educated. One sister a retired math teacher and
the other a retired school secretary. Both retired from the same school.
They never vacationed. Rarely bought anything new. When they died,
they left millions of dollars to the school system. You really wouldn't
have thought they had much just to look at them and their house.

So bottomline, I got off track.
Much of it is not how much you are paid, but how you handle it once
you have it.

Its great to have you here. Be sure to not sit at the computer all day. Get some exercise,
go for a walk, do around the house. You probably know that anyway.

New Affiliate Commissions | ClixSense Forum

Still I couldn't get answer of my question after reading actual announcement.

According to the new policy you only receive the sign up bonus of $0.30/$0.10 for each new
member ONLY after they have completed activities on three separate days.....and.....
the sign up amount will only be after TEN DAYS.

This is stated in the news update at the lower part of admin's post.

He stated the following:

Quote:*Due to some members who try to abuse our system and create multiple fake accounts or use PTSU we are no longer going to pay affiliate signup commissions instantly. Instead these commissions will be paid whenever certain conditions have been met but not earlier than 10 days after the signup date.

These conditions include, but are not limited to, performing at least 3 actions on 3 distinct (different) days. We cannot reveal more than this to avoid abuse. Simply put, if your referrals are active you will get the signup commission accordingly.

You may want to read that update again because I don't recall reading anything about
new referrals having to click 3 different ads on 3 different days.

I'll go look at it and see what it says, exactly.

No, they always had some payment options, not only checks.
I think paypal has always been an option.

I do like the check option and I might go back to it.

If you think about it, the new payment procedure is not any different than it was
except that admin submit payments daily according to who's next in line to be

With the Wed payouts, we got paid once a week.

With this new payout, we are still getting paid once a week.

Don't forget, holidays most always put us off a day or two anyway.

The only things that I personally do not like is:

1. Once it goes into pending, you can't continue adding earnings to it

2. You don't know exactly what time or what day you will be paid.

That sounds very bad and of course, very sad too.

I don't know if it is because we have world news now and internet but I really think
the weather disasters are worse and more frequent than in recorded history.

You might want to read the update again pertaining to increase in sign up commissions.

Also, some times things are just down right confusing until you actually see it in action.
So keep an eye on your referrals history and your earnings from their activity. You'll
see how it works.
