Happening to me a lot lately with my mobile, someone somewhere has handed my number to a 'third party'. Two unknown numbers which I ignore keep calling me, I think they got the message as they've now stopped and I forget the site names but there are some pretty useful sites to check if it's E.T calling or not.
I have no idea what a tracfone is.
A TracFone is a brand/company that sells mobile phone minutes and also makes cell phones
and works with cell phone maker companies to produce phones for them.
The phone I have is a Samsung made cell phone with an Android operating system that works
in conjunction with TracFone.
Often there will be TracFone's you can buy that will offer a special deal such as double or triple
minutes for life of the phone. This means if you were to buy 50 minutes, you would actually
get 100 minutes if you have the double minute offer.
I always buy the triple minute offer phones.
I have a landline and home most the time and make and receive most my calls this way.
I no longer need a contract phone so for the past several years, I have gone the no contract
way using TracFone's.
My recent purchase is a Samsung Galaxy Luna. It came with 1200 minutes, 1200 text, and
1200 data. Included is the charger and car charger in addition to the skin/case. I can purchase
minutes any time I want and will receive triple the amount. After one year from activation I
will need to reactivate the phone by making a purchase of minutes and/or another year of
service minutes.
I paid $99 and you see, I probably won't even use all the 1200 minutes/text/data in a year.
It's a smart phone, wifi enabled.
When the year is up, I might continue to use it and buy more minutes. Most probable, I will
just buy a newer TracFone at that time.
