Not real happy » Post #3

Sun Feb 05, 2017 15:04 in General Talk

I know some of you are going to be mad at me for saying this but I am telling the truth.

I don't think I know of anything online or offline that is going to hand people money for nothing.

It sure would be nice if life went smoothly. It would be nice if everything was fair. It would be
nice if everyone told the truth and everyone loved each other. It would be nice if these survey
routers would give us easy surveys that we qualify every time.

I would surely think everyone doing surveys here would know that ClixSense does NOT own
survey companies. Surely you all READ the sticky topics and hints and all the information about
the best way to do surveys BEFORE you do them? If you have, then I don't understand why you
are saying ClixSense needs to do something. What the heck do you want them to do? They
don't own those programs/companies. They have no control over your answers or where you
live or what computers you are using or anything else you do or don't do.

With these surveys routers you often have to WORK. It is not like digging ditches and in reality
it's about the EASIEST WORK I have ever did in my life. It's just a drag would you attempt the
survey and do not qualify. It's an even bigger drag when you complete a survey and for some
strange reason, they don't credit your account.

There are times you can click on a survey and not spend much time doing it and get credited.
Other times you might have to click on 30 or even more surveys before you qualify.

It's not constructive criticism, 'rosie693'. I don't see anything in your post that is the least bit
constructive. Can you point to me where in your post you are adding anything constructive at
all?

If you don't want to work and do the surveys and offers, that is fine. With all seriousness, if
you get tired of doing them, don't do them. I stopped doing them for some months because
I was busy with other things and because I get tired of them from time to time. It's your
choice to try them or not.

'rosie693', you've been a member for ten years and you have completed 6 offers.

I don't know what you are saying actually.

Are you asking about advert 'Demographic Filters'?

'Demographic Filters' are available for some types of advertising but not all.
It depends on the ad type the advertiser chooses.

As far as I know, there is no individual advertising package for only advertising to the country of 'India'.

I guess it is asking you to click one or the other. Do you click next or not?

Yes, Walmart purchased Jet last year. I am a member of Jet but I have not used it. I did
take a look around and viewed how it works or how it worked then. I'll have to take a look
at it again some time.

Weather is weird here but cannot complain.

The last day of Jan, it was 71 degrees here. It felt like a Spring day. We have not had very many
real cold days. I think one day in Dec we may have got a very light sprinkle of snow.

Here it is Feb and normally the coldest month of the year and it is mostly in the 50's and 60's.

Look at me. Perfect example.

I live in a rural area. There is a dollar store a couple of miles away and that is the closest place
to shop. I can drive about ten miles in either direction and be in a small town that each has a
walmart, a few stores. There is a Lowes by the big super walmart in one of the towns. That's
about as exciting as it gets around here.

I can drive to Jackson, TN and that will take me at least 40 minutes to the Mall door or another
shopping area there. Recently an idiot with a gun went on some sort of rampage in the mall
parking lot there.

Or, I could drive to Memphis or Nashville. I am kind of centrally located to those but here again,
looking at least 1 and 1/2 hours drive to either of those cities.

For me, shopping online is almost a life saver. I can order many items online that I cannot get
locally. I can also order many items online that will save me time. For example, I can order
large bags of cat food and cat litter. Those two items alone take up all the room in my cart at
walmart. It's easier for me to order those large bulky items online and have them delivered to
my door.

Then there is those days I just don't feel like getting out. Maybe it's really cold all week. Or
maybe I am feeling sick. When I can order online and have it at my door in two days, that is
wonderful.

Even when it comes to shopping offline at Walmart, they don't always have everything. They
have many items on their website that is never in the stores here or always sold out.

You are correct about that. They do overwhelm.

I think that might be a good 'Feature Request' to place those numerous ads in another block category.
I've thought about that before and I know if I was wanting to advertise, I wouldn't apply my credits
in that block. I'd probably do the grid or the sticky.

Ads dried up... » Post #7

Sat Feb 04, 2017 06:13 in General Talk

I view the PTC ads as I see them. As long as there is not hundreds of them, that is.
If there is something I can do on auto-pilot, I will usually open a new window and do it.

As you can see above 'Adscend' the EngageME.tv offers. I open that in a new window
and let it run. It doesn't pay much but there are days I make about $1.00 with it. Other
days maybe less. It just depends on how well it runs that day and how busy I am.

As you can also see above, most the earnings came from me doing surveys BUT what
surveys did I do? Let's look at this group I did:

50,122,839 03 Feb 2017 13:33 EST Complete YourSurveys (Project #9288168) $0.2100
50,120,562 03 Feb 2017 12:08 EST Complete Samplicio.us (Project #643160) $0.4900
50,119,601 03 Feb 2017 11:22 EST Complete YourSurveys (Project #9295575) $0.2000

Can you see the time? Over the course of a couple of hours, trying at varying times to grab
a survey when I wasn't busy doing something else, I made $0.90 cents. How much money
do you make viewing ads here in a couple of hours? Is it .90 cents? Take a look at the amounts
on those 3 surveys. A puny 20 cents, a puny 49 cents and a puny 21 cents. My TIME is important
to me and TIME is money they say.....

When I attempt a survey from the 'Survey's' I am going to look at what? Am I gong to look at
the amount I will be paid or will I look at the time it takes to complete it? The answer is I am
going to look at both and usually I am going to choose the LOWEST amount of time. Which
would I attempt FIRST:

Survey $4.00 33 minutes
Survey $0.20 5 minutes

Heck I know from jump that $4 dollar survey at 33 minutes is probably either going to boot me
or going to be every bit of 33 minutes if not more. I also know that I can probably make a fast
.20 cents if I grab that 5 minute survey and then IF the $4 one is still available, I MIGHT try it
next.

Therefore, mostly what I am looking at is TIME.

I highlighted one in gold color up there because that one is as good as gold but it is one in
'pending'. Hey, I don't care if they go into pending. Money is money and it's kind of nice
to see some more money on down the road. So on March 6, I will see an extra dollar pop
up. YAY!

If you keep looking you will see I did some listed in 'Peanut Labs'. I tend to favor PeanutLabs
for doing surveys but they do some times run out. Those two were good for almost a couple
of bucks.

Now the next thing I want to convert to you is the NAMES of those survey programs in which
I was paid for completing surveys. I can't stress this enough. The reason why I say this is
because there is always members that get aggravated and want to complain and say this don't
pay and that don't pay, etc. So I ask you.......

I ask you folks reading this, does the following surveys pay?

PeanutLabs?
CINT?
YourSurveys?
SampleCube?
Samplicio?

Yep, some times you have to try a lot of times to get a survey that you are qualified to do.
Another good reason to first choose those that list times under 10 minutes. You certainly
won't spend a lot of time trying to qualify.

So there is some hints for all to read. If you want to make money with ClixSense, you need
to realize there is more than one way to skin a...errrrr never mind. I'll just say, try the offers,
surveys, etc because there is a lot more money at ClixSense than viewing ads.

Ads dried up... » Post #6

Sat Feb 04, 2017 05:46 in General Talk

Ok sitting viewing ads all day is easy but I gotta tell ya, it is not my cup of tea and with
all seriousness, bore's me to tears. Seriously, I be like eyes get all watery and my fingers
are a little arthritic as it is, just no fun for me to sit and click ads all day and all night to make
$3.00. Oh and lets make sure everyone understands, viewing ads is fine and sure easy way
to make a buck but it is also extremely time consuming if you are out to make $3.00. I did
that a few times when they had those X ads coming in all day and night. I thought I was
gonna die. I think the most I ever clicked in a day was something like 700. How much
was that? Something like $3.00 or so.

Anyway, it's just common sense that ads are based on people that purchase ad credits and
apply those ad credits to an ad they want to advertise. Some days there are more ads to
view than other days. I mean, I don't even feel like that is worth explaining. You can't
pull ads our of the sky and give people what you don't have to give. So complaining about
not having ads to view is saying:

'I don't have ads to view so I best get out there and do some advertising myself to bring in advertisers'.

That really is it in a nutshell. Outta sight, Outta mind, they say. So it really is up to all members
to spread the word that ClixSense is a great place to advertise.

Well anyway, it is just me I suppose but I just can't sit here on my rump and click ads 24/7.
A big night of clicking ads about puts me in a coma. I am like all bug eyed and dehydrated.

So this is what I do when I want to make money at ClixSense......

Oh, I forgot my PTC, be right back.

2 1 10 3 3 13 30 $ 0.0200 $ 0.1000 $ 0.0150 $ 0.0030 $ 0.0130 $ 0.1510

I made .15 cents yesterday viewing the ads. Every little dab will do ya, I always say.

Oh just a minute, I need to highlife some stuff up there so you'll see readily what I am explaining.

Ok so that looks like about .23 cents for the EngageMe.TV auto-pilot ads.

That is a total of $0.38 cents.

If we subtract $0.38 cents from my grand total of $5.66 = we get $5.28

Now then allow me to get down to the nitty gritty. I don't like to bunch things up so I will open a
new post......

It's your decision to stay or go but it sounds like you might be wanting to make free
money here. I see you are in the USA and I see you are a premium member.

So first of all, let me say that it is primarily advertisers that purchase ads. Kind of
common sense, right? You're been here since 2007 so you know that hundreds of
ads are not always available. I am sure you realize that. In fact, it has only been
perhaps the last year or a bit longer that ClixSense has had a big advertisers or two
purchase thousands of ad credits, such as the X ads. What is that called Xoly or some
such as that.

Personally, I think I have views more PTC ads in the past couple of years here, than I
have any where in my entire life or the entire time I have been here. Now I know it's
a matter of what one prefers to do but some times it's like the 'coulda had a V8' if you
know what I mean.

If you will, hang around a moment and allow me to show you something and explain
to you how you can make MORE than $3.00 a day with ClixSense.

When you purchase ad credits, you are essentially purchasing advertising.

You can apply your ad credits to whatever it is you have to advertise.

For the most part, personally, I don't lock stupid pointless topics unless the stupid pointless topic,
is posted in the wrong sub forum.

Most of what is posted in the General talk sub forum, is stupid pointless topics. However, stupid
pointless topics, can be fun, not just stupid and pointless.

Take the 'what music song you are listening to right now' topic. It is stupid and pointless. No
one cares what song you are listening to. The only people that might care is the people in your
household that can hear it too. Still, it is fun for some to post it and some like to look and see
who listens to other types of music and who listens to the same type of music they listen to, etc.

In addition, who is to say what is pointless and stupid? Take this post for example, what is the
point of it? Nothing. Is it stupid? Yes. Was it a waste of my time? Of course.

Gee, I am feeling so stupid and pointless right now.
