I did have to go over areas where the grass was taller, but now that it is cut, it should be
very simple to keep it that way by mowing it once a week. Really good exercise too!

If you have credit card debt with both of your names on the account you would have to pay that. The cost of medical care has gotten outrageously expensive!

Spouses are only responsible for each other's community property debts, which are bills incurred during the course of the marriage. Spouses are not responsible for each other's separate debts, however. ... You do not have to pay your deceased spouse's debts after he or she dies.
Keep separate accounts!
