Secrets to a happy relationship? are there any?

hey my good friends,if you are in a relationship and are happy,,,,,,,,,,,,did you see there how i have separated the two? relationship is one part, being happy is another
getting back to what i was saying......and are happy, what is your secret? what do you sacrifice or do to have the minimum of problems?

personally,i think the most 3 important factors in any relationship are being loyal, understanding each others needs and compromising on everything you disagree on,,,,,the latter i find is the biggest reason why couples breakup or have problems in their relationships.

what works for you?

tasman you little softy whoosh bag :D happiness defined is when a person is tension free,is satisfied with her/his other half and their relationship is truly blissful,,,,,,,,,,,,that's when i see a person really happy when there are no problems in their marriage,,i mean major ones,,little ones like,,where's my other sock? or you shut the door i did it last time :D are irrelevant things,,,,,,,,i'm talking about major man/wife agendas here....do you understand now the word 'happy'?

here it is again from google

'Happiness is a mental or emotional state of well-being which can be defined by, among others, positive or pleasant emotions ranging from contentment to intense joy.

I've said it so many times before, but I'll say it again, love is a chemically induced state invented by evolution by means of natural selection because your species is entirely incapable of forming a symbiotic relationship with another living organism without first being drugged.

This Google defination of happiness is good to be put in a school textbook, everyone understands happyness in their own way depends how well you can understand a person,in the past ten years many relationships have broken up main reason man is jobless, money, and cheating on your partner.

yep i agree arvind,,,so many reasons for happiness and so many more for being unhappy :(

strange how life goes by,so many ups,so many downs, nothing ever remains stable, people come and go,situations change,,,humans are so vulnerable to emotions..society,personal circumstances all have a toll on our happiness,,its true, external environments effect us more on how we feel within ourselves.

Takes two to argue, so when this arises, I just listen. No need to say something you'll regret later,
even with an apology, the person never forgets. Be his/her best friend. Considerate, always say I love you everyday.
Go out of your way to do special things. Always talk out..Not shout out your problem. I remember my vows and will stick with him to the end because I love him. We watch movies together, ball games together, listen to music, do chores together. This is "True Love" ;)

Yes. I've heard that it is good to put a tablet or two in the washing machine if you want the collars of work shirts to stay nice and stiff.

Yeah yeah, Love and all that cuddley stuff.

Drink responsible on your first date, So you can see what or who you're dating

Don't have sex on first date, Makes it easier when you wake up screaming

(Important,Critical :!: ), Try finding out how much money He/she has and compare it to Hi's/her looks!.

In this example we will use a scale from 1-10, When 1 is= And 10 is= your favourite porn star (Remember!! This must be done as one of the first things)

1 : I'f He/She is rich a 4 would be okay, Filthy rich!! It could go as low as a 3, 2 if your desperate and 1 if you're blind.

2 : All above 5 depend on the looks. If it's exactly 5 :? I would suggest rolling a dice.

Remember : Money can buy you anything.

Quiet true to a extent I have seen very beautiful women they work as maids have 3-5 kids from their first relationship looking for men who have money, wonder to what extent it works that a billionaire will accept a maid with her kids for what, her curves ?
