Quote:"if it's not broke, don't fix it"
But it was broken. You might not have noticed your side of the pond, but I did. A year ago, I could get paid by Clixsense, buy something online and get same day shipping. By the end, I was getting paid long after those deadlines. It might not have been obvious to everyone, but payouts were taking longer and longer.
I was getting a bit stressed out over this payout. I needed it by today at the very latest, and I did get it today, but it was stressful. So no, I don't like these new terms either - but it was broken.
If we want something better, we can't just say "Go back to the old way!" because that was broken too. Someone needs to come up with a workable solution rather than a complaint.
Naturally, as sites grow, payouts will take longer. But the "general before this new system" seemed more viable than what's happening now. Maybe it wasn't the best, but we see more and more people not getting their payouts until later and later and later in the week. And sadly, NetTeller delays are still hanging, too. It never looks good on the outside when many folks are still asking why the delay.
Yes, it would be great if Jim and his staff could work out a workable solution (as honestly we only see the outside, not the inside) and can't begin to fully understand. He DID say maybe
after the New Year he'd push it back to the way it was, or come up with a different idea.
I'm not in the worried stage, am just concerned whether he needs help, more financing, more staff...something to take the edge off of what is happening at the moment. Like I said, I like CS. Have enjoyed being a member here, and until just recently, had no real concerns.
Everyone has their own experiences here, some good and some bad. That just goes with the territory.
The international members naturally are quite concerned since their earning prospects are different (within each country) than those of us in the States. To deny anyone their opinion or concern wouldn't be right. In this day and age, everyone is just hanging in there, hoping to make ends meet somehow. And that goes for the owner(s) of this site, too. They do have a right to set up a payment plan that works for them and works for the members. I think these members are just concerned because they pretty much knew when they would be paid, but now, it's working very differently than expected.
I'm going to look at it as a learning experience for the site, and just hope that things get on a somewhat even keel in the following months.
And hopefully, advertisers from other areas might come in and give the site a boost. I think (like I said in the other thread) if we pay more attention and put forth a better effort, that could help. MLM, ponzi, matrix really bother me, but I'd love to see other employable opportunities for everyone.
