ok what is wrong with thoses surveys?nice ur almost done after 75 questions and you can see that you are at 95% of the survey completed and then you have 1 last question , you answered it and they told you they already have too many people who did the survey in my area ???? seriously you asked me in the first 5 questions of the survey my postal code and where im living but you wait until the last question to tell me i cant do the f...survey what a JOKE and i bet you they are keeping the results of my survey anyway , it happens to me at least 5 times in the last 2 weeks , its bad enough to spend 30minutes in front of the computer to make 0.80$ you guys at clixsense need to look into that b.s before it goes out of control ( the nielson surveys and the vegetable oil )

Wow talk about a topic - I have been discussing about this for many times in different topics. I KNOW what you mean and I share your frustrration. I have written books on my experiences with surveys lol !

There are many reasons why this happens. In my opniion, I think it all comes down to bad management and poor coding / building of the questions more so than intentional.

Having done billions of surveys (at least) over the years, I can honestly say the majority of the times I get the quota limit very early on during the survey. If I had to say in percentage I'd say a big big majority with only a small minority, on rare occasions will it say survey closed or filled at the end, I don't know maybe 1-2% or less. Most of the 3rd party sites are reputable companies, normally they DO NOT use the results above quota, but it all comes down to coding of the survey, having the quota check in the beginning instead of the end lol - AND there are less than honest companies (OTX, and many many more, where this happens more frequently :D)

There are far worse things in surveys like 20 minutes of qualifications questions, not being credited, dumb repetitive questions, you name it.........it's part of the industry. I've been doing online surveys for so many years and I have had my share of anger, frustration, disgust, being scammed, not being credited, being told I don't qualify when I was told I qualified 60 questions ago, etc etc etc.........but I didn't give up and make money now........you will never get 100% success with surveys, EVER. You gotta fight your way sometimes. You get booted off a survey or scammed, you move on and do other surveys when available..........It sure beats having to invest and rent referrals and fight the AVG swings and worry about others to click for us to earn money :D

Anyhow, hang in there, it sucks, but this does not happen too often - I make around $1.25-$4 daily here from surveys alone, keep on trying - The affiliate survey panels used here on CS are honest.......the problem is that these panels sometimes redirect to a 3rd party that handles their surveys.......If oneo f those are OTX, you are guaranteed to get problems :D I've had to quit a few panels due to deecptive business practice and even took action against one and won through mediation and got my f****** money the owed me, this is why I came here and doing affiliate surveys, surveys more often, so more mone to be made and better panels.

Good luck.

lol - exactly. To be fair, most are honest, they have no interest in cheating as they would drive people away and stop earning ! The ones who are scamming crooks are a minority compared to the good ones, as long as you stay within the legit, known survey panels and affiliate providers. The majority of times it comes down to very poor management of the survey questionnaires and the coding, in other words the code that checks if the quota is reached is placed in the END instead of the beginning :D

Do what I do, take note of the panel that hosted the survey, record your session and let them know you did not get credit for your hard work and you feel cheated.

I had to threaten with legal actions at least 2 survey panels, I had documented proof and I got paid quickly, after the BBB got involved, one of those panels is extremely well known and I quit the panel ever since because they were once the top and now the biggest fraud ! :P

Doing surveys is like swimming in an ocean with sharks, there is a lot of goodies, but beware of the sharks they can eat you alive.......... lol.

That kind of crap constantly happening (being kicked out at the END of the survey) is why I don't do survey sites anymore.

You know what....I don't do surveys when I don't have the time to do them.

There's stuff you have to contend with in most every industry out there. It's no different in the daily surveys.

Thus far, I have earned over $200.00 doing the offers/surveys here at ClixSense. I'd have to say that over 95%
of those earnings are from daily surveys. There are times a survey won't credit after completing it. There are
also times when you have a lot of pre qualification questions to answer. There are also times when it only takes
seconds to a very few minutes to complete a survey.

The other day there was 5 or 6 videos to watch that paid 2 cents each. I watched each one but I also posted after
each one and gained 3 new referrals to my ClixSense.

Recently I did a survey that took me all of 30 seconds to do, and made one dollar.

There are times that surveys are very brief, simple and easy to do.

For me, it all pans out. Sure, some may end up being a waste of time that do not credit. But another I do may
be worthy of my time. If I got mad or threw my hands up and did not do them, I'd be less $200 in my pocket.

That's why I do them when I know I have time to do them. That's why I do them on my coffee time or my
foodie time or when I am fiddling around not doing anything else. To me, it's not a waste of time per se since
I wasn't really doing anything else anyway.

Back when I did a lot of survey sites, I'd say at least 30% of surveys I took kicked me out after answering an hour's worth of questions, always getting booted on the last few demographic questions. That should be illegal, because they're telling people they will get something for answering the survey, and then they do and recieve nothing, thus giving the survey the answers they wanted for free.

i was sure clixsense woulnt post my topic but i guess its the same people who are in charge of reviewing the surveys that reviewed my topic lol , as you can see it happens often to many people here, is it normal to get paid 70-80 or 90% of the time? what about your job , what if your boss was paying you only 90% of the time you put in? ohhh now its diferent isnt it? so why is it normal out here and nobody do absolutly nothing about it ? i dont understand the logic behind it? darkstar said; we should fight our way sometimes .... ok how ? they saw my post they know...clixsense says they are not responsible and the 3rd party said the survey was perfectly fine...so what now? another 30minutes lost in emails but still no money?! i have a better solution ... for 1-2$ a day im gonna have a small starbucks untead of a big one ! how is that ? bye bye clixsence

ClixSense does not own the survey companies. It's doubtful any survey company will see your post here.

If you have a problem with any of the survey companies, you can contact them, let them know what issue
you are having, what happen, etc.

There are also forums and various sites in which you can rate survey companies and leave feedback. This is
a good idea to do because if a survey company has poor ratings across the board, people won't use them which
means they won't get customers nor will they make money. It's also a good idea to rate the ones you enjoy.

Maybe it's just me but working online is the easiest job I have ever done in my life. I truthfully can't even call
it a job.

I worked in health care most my life....and man oh man I sure know it! I usually can only sleep 5 hours per
night. My back hurts if I stand for more than thirty minutes at a time.

I worked at a cookie factory once running a huge mile long oven. It was computerized and believe me, unless
you have ran an oven like that, you would not believe the difficulty of running the computer for it. I had an entire
notebook of gobly goop settings for it. You ever eat grahams, saltines, cheese it's, fig newtons, etc....well they
came thru the oven I ran at that time. Talk about HOT!!! Oh my gosh, people would hire on and as soon as they
got in the plant, they turned around and walked right back out from the HEAT! Huge hot oil bats, Huge dumps,
and my gosh, work work work, hot hot hot, heat heat heat, grease grease grease. I worked the night shift and
when I got home in the mornings, I had to strip totally naked at the back porch. I was like a walking oil can.

I worked helping hot tar roofs back in my very younger years. My first husband was a roofer. I'd help him just
like a man would. We did shingles and altho I couldn't pack them up the ladder, I'd get on the hot roofs and nail
them down. That was hot work and rather knee breaking too.

I worked construction too. My second husband had his own construction crew. Some times guys would call
in and he'd run short handed so I'd get out there and work just like a man would.

I worked at McDonalds once for 3 days! Mighty easy work but the customers at the drive thru drove me nuts!

I worked at a very large river front hotel/bar once, in the bar area. They'd have well known bands and it was
a rather big place. I'd run back and forth and forth and back, bringing drinks to customers and waiting on tables
and taking pinches on the rears and some times....when I got home, I looked like I had been playing football due
to all the bruises.

I've never ever been afraid of work. I've never not been able to find a job. If it's honest, legitimate work and I
can do it, I'll do it.

Daily surveys, for me, it's not work. When I sit on my arse, clicking yes or no, or watching ads or a video, it's
not anything close to work for me. Aggravating at times, yep. Work, nope, does not even come close.

Thank goodness they don't (evil grin!)   They would hate my guts ! :P Although I made them a ship loads of money over the years and several thousands of $ earned from surveys, so I'd like to see them say anything :P

Ohhh I hear you ! You need some tough veins to work in the industry, let alone the people you GOT to deal with that are not always..........easy to deal with.

I never consider online earnings a job but a supplement to income. I think your point is valid but I also think the original poster has a valid point and frustration. Of course it is unfair to be directing the blame on CS because they rely on network sites to handle these surveys and to get paid, but the frustration is there. There is a lot of BAD things going on with SOME survey companies. The same is seen constantly with CrowdFlower tasks, only difference is that tasks pay you for the work you manage to do before being rear ended and flagged unfairly :D

He has a point - Yes with surveys you will never get paid 100%, you can't compare it with a job, the surveys don't employ you but it is trial and error. Who to blame ?

- The networks that manage the surveys.
- The companies that provide the traffic redirection and routing services
- The survey panel who provide the services to these affiliate network sites
- The geniuses who build the survey script in the first place
- The geniuses (trying to be polite) project managers who are SUPPOSED to oversee every step of the process.

ClixSense and the member are on the same level, when a member gets SCAMMED, so does CS, there is NOTHING CS can do but complain to their network manager and since there are so many people involved with these surveys, everyone will pass the blame.......RESULT ? You have a choice to ACCEPT being scammed from time to time or not do ANY surveys..........but the times you do get scammed, it's good to expose things and complain, sometimes when CS relates the info to their aff. manager, things can be resolved as it did with some offers not crediting, otherwise if you are silent nothing gets done..........in some cases complaining won't resolve anything but at least you get the message out there. People not getting credit for some survey offers should NOT in no way discourage them to continue doing surveys unless they have a really low credit ratio. Otherwise if it were the case I'd be long gone in an asylum !

Yes but Valerie, your comparaison is not fair. You got PAID for your jobs right ? Regardless of the pain and difficulty, you were paid for all those long hours. First of all working in a cookie factory I would have gone completely crazy out of my mind back then I had a wild sweeth tooth and those fig newtons would have really killed me.......:D Anyhow, unless you are earning huge money here, or more than what you earned at the cookie factory, you can't really compare. I'd rather bust my arse and earn money than consider a PTC a job on pennies a day and a few bucks of surveys......online earnings NEVER become a job, never, not when done as a member of a GPT or PTC, unless you are running a business online. Here in my country, even if I were to be making $25k a year from surveys and GPT, I would be considered POOR down the barrel ! :D

Good point, but sometimes the aggravation, stress and frustration of online earnings can far exceed all jobs combined especially when the "unfair" factor comes into play. When a company promises a member an incentive for dongi a survey or offer, legally, it is a contract binding between 2 parties. Failure for the party to honour said contract becomes a braech of contract and therefore a company (the survey company / network) has obtained and collected information from the said member freely without providing payment as stated in the agreement of the offer which represents the contract, therefore FRAUD was committed, if the network/company after several complaints has not resolved the issue or given an explanation within a reasonable amount of time. Companies get away with this .... well you know :D because they know that people won't fight for such low amounts, but it is perfectly legit and understandable for people to complain and be highly frustrated for not being paid for somethign they were told they would be paid for !

I think you both have valid points, however, the only solution, if you can call it a solution, since there is nothing that can be done, is to keep trying and accept the fact one will not get credit or be booted out of a survey for nor eason etc.........guess it's part of the industry, one of many industry that are corrupted and/or poorly managed.
I will not name names, but I used to know a person who actually worked for one of the networks, going way back, and another person who knew some managers and people way high up, and having worked myself in the industry, I can tell you there is a LOT of corruption........Luckily I have always worked for honest, reputable market research firm back then. I've also known GPT site owners whom I helped back then and they themselves reported to me all the crap that goes on in the industry.

Problem is this - There is not ONE company you can avoid - Surveys are hosted by so many different hosts, on a daily basis. So one day you may be scammed by one, does not mean the next day you will deal with the same survey host........So far in my experience, I have noticed that most of them are ok and credits are given, which is why I'm still here, and always report the offer that do not give me credit, in hopes maybe something can be done, and at least I tried.

Try to get to those survey panel and network or top managers and it is basically like talking to a brick wall.

Some will admit there is a problem and resolve it, others, won't.......... :D

The point is, that member is blaming ClixSense and also he is saying goodbye.

Why?

Look at his member date?

He's been a member for two weeks.
He has 0 referrals.
He obviously does not understand how everything works here.

He hasn't gave up just on ClixSense. He has given up on his self.
And someone is losing a referral.

I stick to my post and my point. Because doing surveys and offers and clicking/viewing ads, is not a job.
It's really not. It's something you can do at the computer to keep abreast what is happening online and
you can make extra money while you're at it. Everyone needs to understand in this industry, that is what
it is, extra money. It's ok to get frustrated. It's even ok to get mad. ClixSense is full or real people, not
martians. So it's understandable that a person gets frustrated some times because people are human.

The member that started this topic, would have faired better, if he had ask for help, ask for direction, read
the info and the tips. Maybe he would have understood, the numerous ways that money can be made here.
Maybe he would have given himself a chance. Maybe by this time next year, he'd been making weekly payouts
that would more then compensate for that large daily starbucks.

By the way....the fig newtons are very good, warm, fresh on the conveyor belt.

Yeah I guess that's true, it is not fair to jump to conclusions so early on......Did not see the join date :)
He will get much the same problems on ANY GPT site, there are 2 major networks that provide these, there is only one long standing GPT I know that sources them directly from the survey panel, but most GPTs use these networks, so he will get the same issues :D It's part of the industry one has to fight and fight and get a little (sometimes a lot :D) frustrated to get results. I don't know how long you've been doing surveys, but I've been doing it since the very beginnings of Greenfield online, so it's years and years ago and I went through major ups and major downs.......lol sometimes a little anger management comes in handy when dealing with these

Agreed. But nonetheless, you and I both are very experienced survey takers :D, some people are new to this and so it's normal, I would feel so frustrated too, but I don't give up easily :D Really hope he finds something he can earn from - it's really tough finding decent sites - I left a 13+ year old GPT site to join Clixsense, and consider Clixsense and Neobux as my two top earners now.......So yeah, it's all about trial and error and not giving up....and accepting the corrupted nature of incent traffic lead generating network affiliates

Don't lose hope on him, he made valid points on several levels, but needs to give this more time, he will eventually come back as these offers are much the same on many GPTs, but CS is so much better than most GPTs I have seen and joined, way better.......no crazy twisted things you have to do to earn, no crazy minimums, no delays, fast payments, etc.........
